So... you'd think if you got a haircut off of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, you'd walk out feeling and looking like the million bucks that the area smells of. Yeah... no. Maybe...

got the best haircut of my life from batia! i have been meaning to write a review forever - i can't wait to go back for another cut soon. the prices are a little out of my reach (the first cut was on a living social deal and sooo worth it!) but i have been saving my pennies for another one and i can't wait - she is worth the pricing in my opinion. she cut my hair unlike anyone has ever cut my hair in 40+ years of living curly. I am not super curly, more like loose curls and not even in curl around my head so a bit of a mess usually. she actually looked at the individual curl and seemed to cut based on how it sits and falls and curls. i thought it might be really uneven in the end but it was seriously the best my hair has ever looked and it grew out amazingly. my mother was visiting 3 months later and commented on my gorgeous layers and how they framed my face and fell so nicely in the back - 3 months later! she knows what she is doing. \r \r i left with products, i have restocked since and i send them to my curly haired friend living in japan - they have a great product line. i can't say enough good about them - if you have curls, head here soon! more

They definitely know curls. I have been struggling with long curly hair all my life. Since going to Batia and Aleeza's salon for the last year now and using their amazing products I can finally embrace and love my curls. The products are amazing and their service is wonderful. more

My experience was AMAZING! From the minute I walked in there was a positive energy at Batia & Aleeza's. Friendly and helpful staff made me feel comfortable (1st timer) and that it was all about me. I was lucky enough to get Beatriz who checked out my hair while making light conversation, which made me feel I had made the right choice in my decision to come here. Another client who HAD to be the inspiration for the lead in ""Brave"" with the most beautiful red curls I had ever seen was talking about her book, ""Resurrecting Venus"" just as I was swooped up for my deep conditioning treatment (book sounded like a bestseller!) Once done, I was sent to Batia for my cut. I felt a little nervous, but Batia made me feel at ease, she talked to me telling me what she was going to do before she did anything. Beatriz finished up with the blow dry and WOW! My hair look great and I felt beautiful. Their products, especially the hair gel is the secret, don't leave without it. I have been with my boyfriend going on 12 years and when he picked me up he said, ""I like your hair!"" something he never said before. more

Curl-tastic! 3/30/2012

If you have curly hair, this is your haven. I have had cuts at Devachan, Ouidad, and Frederik Fekkai himself -- all in New York City -- but I had to come to Beverly Hills to get the BEST haircut of my life. Aleeza is a master. I showed her pictures of what I was looking for, pictures I've been showing stylists for years. But she actually got it. She cut my hair as I've been envisioning it for years. And when I needed an adjustment, she was happy to perfect the first cut. The salon is just lovely -- beautiful but relaxed and friendly. Everyone is so approachable, and has your best hair at heart. Batia and Selba were equally wonderful in the advice they gave me. And the products. I cannot live without them! When I walked out of Devachan, my hair felt goopy and heavy and stayed wet-looking all day. B + A gel leaves my hair super soft and natural looking. Thank you ladies, for a wonderful experience! Finally, I LOVE my hair! more

Seriously, you need to check out this salon! I am so happy with my curls now that I've been seeing Sebla there for about two years. They really have the magic touch with curls there and their products are really great. I'd recommend this salon to anyone. more

Fully changed my life... 10/18/2011

I'm one of those people who resisted having curly hair for her entire life - seriously did everything in my power to deny it - from never wearing it down to getting it straightened etc. My friend found a special for Batia & Aleeza's salon and sent it my way. I went in blindly and I can honestly say it was the best thing that ever happened to me and my hair. Batia is AWESOME and definitely knows what she's doing so just trust her!! I now wear my hair down almost everyday and she cut it in a way where it takes me two seconds in the morning to put some products in (Batia & Aleeza products which WORK). I don't blow dry it at all and my hair drys perfectly curly every time - it's seriously mind blowing - she's AMAZING and now I'm a customer for life! Thank you Batia!! :) more

I found my curly hair salon! 10/12/2011

I've been looking for curly hair salon for a long time. Finally I found it at Batia & Aleeza!!! When I got there, I've had a brief consultation with Aleeza about how dealing with my frizzy hair. She recomended me no haircut or coloring at that time. Then, her warm assistant treated my hair with their in-house products. After applying the gel, Aleeza styled my hair. Wow! the curls were so defined, shiny as the ones I see in magazines! Besides that she explained to me in details how I could get similar hair effect at home! I got her complete line of hair products, and currently after 4 months of using them, my hair still responds to them beautifully. I loved Aleeza honest advice and recommendations. Moreover, the ambiance is very relaxed and the price is very reasonable. more

This is the best of the best for curly hair... 8/4/2011

I am so thankful I came to Batia and Aleeza. I can't say enough great things about Batia Aleeza. I have wild curly hair, and for years I tried different product and numerous salons; furthermore, I even had the Brazilian Blow Out done, and nothing made my hair look like they did. They did a stunning cut, blowout, and the deep conditioner worked amazing. I have never been so happy with my hair, and can't say enough great things about this salon. Besides the wonderful work they did, the staff was very attentive, and the salon was lovely. I have people almost everyday and come up and tell me they love my hair, and I have to give all the credit to to Batia and her wonderful staff. I have always had problems with my hair being to dry, but after a few weeks of using their conditioner my hair has completely changed Now, I will only use their product, and will be a life long customer. more

AMAZING 5/5/2011

This salon is breath taking. Not only is the staff friendly, energetic, and enthusiatic. But the atmosphere is beautiful, relaxed, and welcoming. Going into the salon I was nervous about being in a new place, trusting people with my hair. Leaving I felt beautiful, appreciated, and my hair never looked better. I would reccomend this salon to any body..curly hair, straight hair, wavy hair, or short hair!! I wish I could give them higher than 5 stars! more

Great Curls 9/4/2010

My mother and I both have very curly hair, for which it can be difficult to find an experienced stylist. This past Mothers Day, I researched curly hair salons in the Los Angeles area and ended up taking my mom (and myself!) to Batia and Aleeza. We misjudged the time it would take to get there in traffic and arrived over half an hour late, but no one was grumpy with us about it. I believe we were both supposed to have our appointment with Aleeza, but because we were late, Batia helped out and the two women flitted back and forth between us. Everyone at the salon is warm and friendly. Batia and Aleeza both know what they're doing when it comes to curly hair. My haircut and style were excellent; my mom's were truly amazing. The best part may be that our hairdos STILL look great, even four months later. An extra bonus: Sprinkles Cupcakes are right down the street. Save room! more

great haircare products for curly hair 8/30/2010

I love Batia and Aleeza's salon -- it is the only place I've found that can actually style my curly hair beautifully! Every other place I've gotten my hair cut at, I have to promptly go home and re-wet my hair and then style with my own products. At this salon, I walk out with gorgeous curls every time, instead of a frizzy mess. I love love love the bio-herbal mineral sculpting gel -- and can't imagine using anything else -- it's my new addiction. Batia also sets me up with the most wonderful natural conditioners to use for deep conditioning and at night too! more

Joyful Hair - Joyful environment 7/31/2010

I happened to finally visit the salon for a cut (after buying their products for over a year) the day of one of the owner's birthday - the celebration among employee, friends and family was not to be believed. They totally swept me up in their celebration and I walked out with a terrific new haircut. After years of dealing with frizz - I feel like my ""jew-fro"" might actually become a thing of the past. Amazing for Curly Haired gals 7/11/2010

I tried Batia and Aleeza bc I wanted to try bangs for the first time in my life. When I showed the pics of what I was thinking, I got an honest response of what Batia thought would complement my face. Most salons just do whatever, with little interest in what will actually look good. I trusted her, and she gave me an amazing haircut, that I would have never thought to ask for. Having curly hair is tough, beacuse we have limited options in terms of hair styles. She gave me a haircut that I can wear however Id like, as well as products that work great! I had the same regiment for my hair for 5yrs and now I am obsessed with theirs. No more frizziness or stiffness. Thank you Batia, for the best haircut of my life!! The BEST 3/18/2010

I have been a client at the salon for 5 years. Never in my life have I had a weekly appt. before but Aleeza does the best work of anyone I have ever gone to (and I have gone to some of the best). So now I treat myself every week and I feel so good afterward. Not only is the work incredible but the people in the salon, Ronny at the front desk to Sabla, Mary, Bea, Batia, etc., etc., are the most loving and special people. I am always treated so warmly and special. It is like being a member of a special family. I feel lucky to know them all. They are known for curly hair but I do not have curly hair and Aleeza is amazing with my hair. I love them all! Pros: Most amazing cuts, blow drys and color more

A wonderful experience 3/10/2010

Batia was highly recommended by a friend, so for an early 18th birthday present , my daughter and I headed up to Beverly Hills to get pampered at Batia and Aleeza'a Salon. We drove 2.5 hours from San Diego. The experience was amazing. I've used their products for about a month and I love them. The styling gel is so smooth and keeps your hair from frizzing and really holds your curls!! My daughter and I walked out of there feeling like stars. We will definitely return and we highly recommend this salon. Pros: Amazing haircut! Cons: Only 1 hour parking meters available along the street. more

These sisters and their staff from all over the world ,make you feel so special .. Their experience and skill level combined with their love for their clients makes this my favorite place to keep my long blond hair shiny and beautiful.
