Babies R US

Babies R Us has a wide variety of products to choose from, and it helped us as first time parents to see each product in person (i.e.; strollers, cribs, etc.) to see exactly how big it was and try it out ourselves without just ordering online. that's the only reason I give them a 2 out of 5. HOWEVER: TERRIBLE customer service and staff at this location. Everyone is very helpful, but does not follow up, does a bad job with tracking what you purchased, and really are not resourceful when it comes to solving problems. Husband & I purchased an awesome stroller from this location, it was clearanced and we were excited. It had a part missing, and BRUS said that they would have it ordered for us and it would be no problem. That was back in December. Now, in March (2 months from due date!) BRUS is still trying to figure out what happened to our order. IF the associates who checked us out when we purchased our stroller would have taken the appropriate measures, kept track of our order, made sure to note which model we had, it probably would've been resolved easily. Unfortunately, BRUS sent us the WRONG canopy for our carrier, and we are still canopyless. The only real issue is that it's the wrong color and has a plastic piece missing. I wish they would train their employees to understand a system of operation, and work together... and also work harder to fix things that go wrong instead of seeming to not care. more

I've shopped at many Babies R Us and this one is the worst. No one cares to help you and they are rather rude about it. I decided this on multiple visits. I was hoping I just kept getting the wrong person. If you do capture someone they have no knowledge about the products they carry. We were planning to spend several thousand dollars to finish our nursery for our multiples. Because of the terrible service we left with nothing. We will be buying from Target and online retailers. They should be happy we were spending money there because their prices are higher on every single item I compared. Another negative is their shelves are not stocked well. They might have one of something or just an empty peg. No one I know has time to keep coming back. Babies R Us corporate pricing policies are pretty bad too. They advertise free shipping but you must read the fine print it only applies to some items. Other online sites offer free shipping over a certain amount spent. Their 20% coupons sent out periodically are only good in the store and have a set of restrictions. As you can tell after trying to prepare for the birth of multiples where we need to spend a large amount on baby products, I am done with this store and Babies R Us Corporate! more
