BILTRITE Furniture - Leather - Mattresses

My husband and I just purchased another room full of furniture for our house from Biltrite. Over the years we have only purchased from them (Maureen)! With our most recent purchase of our bedroom furniture, the manufacturer did not finish off the staining properly and there were minor detail problems. This furniture was considered one of the stores best quality manufacturers, and in spite of the initial problem, this manufacturer and biltrite stood behind the product to get it right!!! Maureen, one of the family owners came out to my home to view the problems, relay the info to the manufacturer, and presented us with options to remedy the problem. We could not have been happier with the trust they had in us to take our concerns very seriously. Maureen was able to turn a large blunder (done by the manufacturer) into a win-win situation for everyone involved. We can not say enough for Maureen and the customer service that she has shown us over the years. We will ALWAYS purchase from Biltrite. more

BILTRITE came to the rescue for this large-sized person. When my last RECLINER purchased from another store broke in less than a year's time my body couldn't wait for the replacement part to arrive and the chair to be repaired. I have a lot of furniture but with back and knee problems there was nowhere for me to comfortably sit. I was in more discomfort with every day that passed. I called up BILTRITE, where I had purchased furniture previously and asked if they could deliver a recliner quickly if I found one that worked for me. True to their word, I picked out a chair in the evening and they agreed to alter their delivery day/schedule in order to get it to me the next morning. I cannot tell you all what a life saver they were to me. I will be forever grateful to them. What service! But let me tell you about the recliner..if you are a BIG person they have the recliner for you...ULTRA STURDY and higher off the ground it puts no pressure on the knees and allows me to simply stand more

We moved back to Milwaukee recently and wanted to buy a few pieces of furniture. We saw the Biltrite ad in the paper and thought we would drive over and take a look. What a joy; Biltrite is a family owned business of many years standing. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who called over a sales person to assist us, Randi, a member of the company family. It was a pleasure to work with someone interested in providing a high level of service, knowledgeable and interested in helping us. The prices were phenomenal. When the total was added up, we thought she must have made a mistake, but it was correct. We were so excited that we came back the next weekend, just to make sure that there wasn?t something else we wanted. Of course, the price was right, and we added on a couple additional pieces. more

Biltrite Furniture gets a big thumbs up in my book. It is a real pleasure to see a business so passionately engaged with the happiness and satisfaction of their customers. I have known Randi and Maureen for over 2 months and I see how much they care for the history of Biltrite, the success of their company and the happiness of their customers. We have shopped at BiltRite Furniture over many years. My parents bought me a cedar chest for my high school graduation in January 1965. I still have that cedar chest. Recently we were looking for a new couch. We looked at a couple of big box stores and a few other furniture stores to see what was available. We bought our couch from BiltRite. We saw the same couch at a big box store, but it was more money and we prefer the family owned store and their great salespeople. We also searched for new end tables. We were shocked to see all the damaged tables on display at these other stores. We also bought our tables from BiltRite because of the great quality, fine service and good prices. We shopped around to see what was available. We went to a couple of big box stores and a couple of other well known furniture stores in Milw. County. We were so disappointed to see all the damaged furniture on display at these other stores. The quality was not good. \r \r At BiltRite we found very good quality furniture and the showroom was always neat. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, especially Nancy. She listened to what we were looking for and even showed us other options. She was great. My wife and I purchased several pieces of furniture from BiltRite in the recent past. We were quite pleased with the level of service we received from the staff. We worked closely with Randi, one of the owners, and she was very willing to assist us in choosing furniture that best suited our needs. In fact, she even stopped by our condo to view the space before making recommendations....not exactly customary for a furniture store to make a house call.\r \r We were equally impressed when our furniture was delivered. The delivery team was extremely courteous, professional and very careful not to damage the furniture or our new condo. This company is serious about client experience as is shows in every aspect of their business. It's so refreshing to work with people who are passionate about what they do! If you're in the market for new furniture, I would certainly recommend you give them a chance to WOW you as they did us. more

When I rated BILTRITE five stars just now, it said "world class" after the rating. I agree. BILTRITE Furniture has been a Milwaukee staple for almost a century and I started as a customer of theirs on Historic Mitchell Street. So, if BR represents Milwaukee to the world, I'm on board. I buy furniture about once a year and don't buy anything without shopping BR first. That said, I generally buy something from BR every year. Beds, sofas, chairs, coffee tables, desks, bedroom sets, kitchen table... OK now that I think of it, I buy A LOT there. It's a great store. Great selection. Great prices (even at their great new location, still a bargain!). Great people. Like I said, I go in once a year, and am recognized by the family.\r My best friend shops there. My parents shopped there. I refer everyone to BILTRITE. It's a furniture bargain-hunters dream... and EXCELLENT quality, too. more

I can't say enough good things about BILTRITE Furniture. I have been a loyal, and appreciated, customer for over 20 years-since BR was on Historic Mitchell Street. I have purchased nearly everything for every room at one time or another from BR: chairs, sofa, bed, dressers, coffee tables, desks, a lot of stuff. I shop BR about once a year and always find a deal on something I'm looking for (but I'd suggest checking out their clearance section at least one every few months ;) The only thing as good as the deals on great quality furniture is the wonderful customer service you get from the family and their staff. If you're going furniture shopping, make sure you make a stop at BILTRITE. more

My husband and I recently moved near the Milwaukee area and were not familiar with the furniture stores in the area. We went to all the regular chain stores and were extremely frustrated by the high prices and low quality. We went to one specialty store and were floored by the astronomically high prices – bedroom furniture should not cost the equivalent of a small car. We finally went to Bilt-Rite after finding them on-line. We explained our situation (looking to purchase new furniture for most of our home, but not ready to do it all at once) and they were wonderful to work with (did I mention that we had a toddler in tow?). We were able to easily customize some of the pieces we purchased and ended up with exactly what we wanted. We never felt pressured and were impressed by the high quality of the furniture. The sales team is very knowledgeable (about the quality, craftsmanship, manufacturing process, etc) and we were very confident in our purchases. \r \r In addition to some furniture, we purchased two mattresses. I was a little nervous about the king sized King Koil mattress that we bought for two main reasons: 1) I had never spent that much money on a mattress before 2) I was about 6 months pregnant when we went mattress shopping and didn’t know if my preferences would change after I had the baby. Our new mattress was delivered two weeks before I had the baby – it was WONDERFUL! I had never slept so soundly or so comfortably. It’s amazing what a difference a new mattress can make. My husband weighs twice as much as I do and I couldn’t tell when he got in/out of bed or when he moved around. Our King Koil mattress was totally worth the cost. \r \r The customer service was exceptional and we were able to get everything delivered at the same time (furniture for 3 bedrooms and two mattresses). My first experience with Builtrite was about 1 year ago. My husband and I had shopped at every furniture store in the Milwaukee area looking for a contemporary recliner. We found chairs we liked, but the fabric patterns were horrible. Other stores wanted to charge us almost double to special order the fabric. Builtrite had the exact chair we were looking for, custom fabric was no extra charge, and the price was so good we ended up purchasing two chairs! \r \r We recently needed to purchase a new mattress. This time, we didn?t even bother looking around. We went right to Builtrite. Tom was extremely helpful. He found us our perfect mattress (which was on sale), and we were done in about 30 minutes. I will never shop at another furniture store again! more

Built Rite furniture provided me with a replacement furniture piece when I didn't even purchare the original chest of drawers from them. A large furniture chain in town was the original place of purchase and when the replacment part was needed the large furniture store gave me the run around for 2 weeks and wouldn't return my calls. I researched the piece of furniture that needed repair and found that Built Rite also worked with this brand. I waled into Built Rite with my problem piece and 5 min. later walked out with the solution in hand. No longer purchasing from the large furniture store in town. We started buying our furniture at Biltrite in 1965.We have always been happy with the styes and prices offered.When adding on to our family, we have always found the quality and prices within our budget.When we became empty nesters,and wanted to downsize\r we returned to Biltrite and found just what we were looking for.At one time we had a problem,and it was handled professionally to our satisfaction.Now we are stopping by to look for gifts for our children and grandchildren,and still in 2010 finding the prices and quality we are looking for.Thanks Biltrite! more

My husband Scott and I recently purchased a house full of furniture at Bilt-Rite. We had the pleasure of working with Nancy who is an absolute delight and very very knowlegeable and helpful to us when making our selection. The prices are very reasonable and the very organized store presents you with many choices. What we thought could be a problem in getting our furniture to Door County ended up to be no problem at all. Bilt-Rite arranged for the entire order to be delivered to our door step. The service and the experience shopping at Bilt-Rite was amazing. I can honestly say I have never been treated better anywhere. Our experience at Bilt-Rite started the minute we walked through the door. We were greeted with a smile and asked if we needed help. We wanted to not be bothered like we had been at numerous other stores which I will not name, so we informed the friendly woman at the desk that we were just looking. The store is so well organized so browsing was a pleasure. Quite some time later Nancy approached us and asked if we needed help. At that time we had found several items which we were interested in for our condo in Door County. Nancy listened, shared her expertise, and allowed us time to make our final choices. NEVER was there any pressure or someone on your heels following us around the store. I had first gone to Colder's and found nothing but expense junk. On the recommendation of a friend who help furnish the homes of two of her brothers, as well as her own home, I went to Bilt-Rite. The first purchase with them was a tv cabinet. The salesperson was great; the right combination of helpful but not too pushy. Even the gents who delivered it were great.\r \r Now, two years later I needed to furnish nearly an entire apartment and off to Bilt-Rite I went-1) because I had a great previous experience with them and 2) I knew they carried small scale furniture-I moved to an upper duplex in Tosa need I say more about needing small scale furnishings? I purchased a dining room set, end table, customized recliner, and customized couch. I was in and out in 40 mins (it helped that I know what I like and can make decisions quickly).
