The Worst Customer Service EVER!!!!!!! 9/26/2016

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife's office. I was told they would be delivered before 4:00pm which is when she leaves. The flowers arrived at 6:30pm after she had left for the weekend. In addition, they weren't even the right flowers. I called the so called "customer service" number and this is what happened : first call made me go thru a bunch of automated press this if this bs and then eventually hung up on me, call 2 I sat on hold for 45 minutes, call 3 I pressed the option to order flowers and they picked right up, after telling them why I was calling back on hold for 25 minutes, finally a person picks up and is zero help, transfers me to a "supervisor", after holding for another 15 minutes they pick up and then after hearing what I'm calling about hangs up on me. Call 4, again the same on hold for at least 30 minutes, guy tells me all the supervisors are out of the building and he can not make a decision. call 5, finally get a hold of a supervisor that is back in the building, they tell me that they will have the flowers picked up and will refund my money on Monday. Monday has come, the wrong flowers are still in the same place they delivered them and I have not received a call or email from this horrible company. I have made 4 calls today, over 2 hours of dealing with this and still no resolution. Every time I speak to someone new I have to start from the beginning. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. THEY ARE AS BAD AS IT GETS. more

The worst service I have ever experienced 9/9/2016

Not only did this company fail deliver the flowers I ordered for a family funeral, they made it so difficult to request a simple refund. I would highly recommend NOT TO USE Avas Flowers. more

Smell like cigarettes 8/24/2016

I paid extra for early delivery and the flowers were 3 hours late. When they arrived the vase was hot and the flowers looked droopy. Turns out the so called "local" flowers were from a florist and hour and a half away. They smelled so badly of cigarette smoke you couldn't keep them in the same room with you. Don't order from these people! more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! 8/18/2016

Every bit of this experience was an awful one. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company, from the customer service operators all the way up to executives. I placed an order of a boquet for same day delivery, and not only was my order downgraded to a smaller arrangement that I paid $52 dollars for, but it wasn't received until the next day, and it HAD to be delivered same day. When I called the next morning to cancel the order, a manager told me she'd cancel it and I'd receive a refund, Then I got a notification saying it was delivered against my wishes. I called back for 3 DAYS and kept getting the run around from every manager I spoke to, who never called me back and left me on hold for over 30 minutes before our calls were disconnected. I finally spoke to Orlando today, who informed me there was nothing they could do even though they messed up. But don't worry, because they can offer me a $20 store credit, because I'll definitely want to do more business with this company....entirely disappointed and I'm recommending to everyone NEVER to use this company. more

Couldn't get a $70.00 bouquet delivered for two days, and even after spending many hours on the phone, I never actually talked to a person who would give me any satisfaction. Do yourself a favor and absolutely DO NOT order from them! more

Bad Customer Service 8/16/2016

Called the day before my anniversary to order flowers. Specifically stated that they had to be delivered between 9 and 11 a.m. because my wife would be out that afternoon. I was told that would not be a problem if I paid an additional fee. Today when no flowers were delivered I called and was told that they only deliver to my address between 3 and 5. Why was I not told that yesterday? I could have ordered from a more local dealer. I got a "we're sorry" but you don't get two chances to make it right. more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!! 8/6/2016

I ordered a balloon bouquet worth $60 for my husband's 40th birthday to be delivered to his office. Not only did the local agent not even ATTEMPT delivery, but two days after the fact, Ava's was STILL trying to tell me they would deliver it instead of refund me my hard-earned money. That is basically the equivalent of a cake maker trying to deliver a wedding cake to the bride 2 days after a wedding!!!!!! So shocking. After 3 days of calling & emailing Ava's countless times, their customer service would NEVER allow me to speak to an actual person of authority that could refund my money. I finally had to call my credit card company to dispute the Ava's charge for me. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a company in 40 years!!!! more

AWFUL FLOWERS 7/31/2016

Awful flower arrangement. They claim that the arrangement I bought was worth $90+ dollars but it looked like a $30 arrangement at best. The arrangement received was small, not arranged at all and had a whole/gap in the middle. Not to sound dramatic but it looked like something my 5 year old would have put together by picking flowers out of our back garden. I send flowers frequently for personal and work scenarios. I always research and use local flowerist where I'm sending flowers. Against my better judgment I used Avas for this particular occasion and it solidified why I don't use national floweriest chains. I will not be using them again. I would advise not to use that as well. more

anniversary ruined thanks avas flowers and double charged 7/25/2016

it was my anniversary today and I called and paid for flowers to be delivered. They cancelled my online payment and charged me again over the phone. I paid twice for flowers that were not delivered. They kept me on hold 3 times for over 30 minutes. Every person I talked to lied to me. The worst experience ever and liars and thieves.... more

This place is a joke. Charged me 80 bucks for flowers I could have bought in any supermarket for 15.00. Plus the 3.99 card scam adds insult to injury. DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM THESE PEOPLE! more

Horrible 2/19/2015

I was supposed to receive four dozen flowers on Valentines day for $157 and some change. They called my boyfriend on Thursday to tell him that they could not deliver the flowers that he had ordered but that they would substitute it with two dozen long stem roses and 'extra' flowers.(After doing the research the substitute was cheaper, yet they still charged him the original flowers cost) Well Valentines Day comes around and one dozen flowers with babies breath was delivered. They were gorgeous and florist(Buds Blooms and Beyond) that they had used did a fantastic job. But it was not even close to what was ordered. He called and was put to an automated customer service that hung up on him. When he called back he complained and they said they would refund $10 and the other dozen would be delivered on Monday, no wait Tuesday, make that Wednesday. I called them back and asked that they just cancel the flowers and refund the money. They said they could not unless the flowers were not delivered by Wednesday. Well Wednesday rolls around and at 15 minutes to six UPS delivers 22 dead/damaged roses in the wrong vase. Mind you he paid extra to have a specific vase. I called again to say that 1. the wrong flowers came 2. the wrong vase came and 3. that some of the roses were damaged and some dead. They said they could not speak to me regarding this matter and that they had to speak to him. The offered him a $10 refund, I said no escalate this to a manager you haven't received the first $10 refund. In the end the best the manager could do was a $20 dollar refund and another set of flowers. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. more

Delivered half dead flowers days late for mother's day 5/19/2014

Whatever you do, do not use these criminals! I ordered flowers for mother's day to be delivered on Saturday before so my wheelchair bound mom could enjoy them longer. Not only did they not make it there on Saturday, they didn't make it on Sunday. They were stored on a hot truck for FOUR DAYS and were finally delivered on Tuesday. They were half dead and I paid extra for that? The delivery fees were quite a lot more than others but they assured me they would be there on Saturday. When I called each day, I was told they were out for delivery. They would not make it right and they told me that their website has some small print that tells me they do not guarantee delivery by any certain date. Really? I'm so disgusted I could just spit! I will never use this company for anything and if you want good customer service I suggest you do not either. more

NOT A LOCAL COMPANY & NO Guarantees 4/8/2014

I ordered flowers for my wife, who was in the Chapel Hill, NC area for business. I ordered them on Saturday for a Sunday delivery, as was available on the Avas Flowers website. I paid for the arrangement and delivery. Then, I received an email on Sunday that said they were unable to deliver the arrangement on Sunday, due to the flowers not being available. After being hung up on once, I finally got through to speak to their customer service. I was told they had NO FLOWERS instock. They said there was absolutely nothing they could do to get the flowers to my wife on Sunday, even though the website guaranteed Sunday deliver, and I PAID for it. They did offer the deliver the flowers first thing Monday morning, but that was not what I had ordered. They again told me that they had NO flowers at all in the shop to deliver. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was originally told that there was no manager available, but was eventually connected to a manager (after a very long hold). They told me that the floral shop was locally owned, but the owner was not available and they had no idea when he would be available. I asked if they had anything they could deliver today, Sunday, and I was told that they had absolutely NOTHING. We are not from the area. I tried to find a local shop to support the local economy. But, DO NOT shop here!!! I am not sure what type of scam they are running, but it is not a customer service friendly floral service!! They ended up refunding my money, but, no flowers. I would not trust this shady business habits with anything that mattered. If they cant even follow through with a guaranteed delivery date, what else would they not be able to do? more

My whole experience with Ava's flowers has been horrible. Even the invoice of the flowers ordered is incorrect. The flowers arrived 2 days late to the address in Anaheim, this was even after e-mailing and calling them from the UK to see what was going on. They lied and said the florist had poor flowers and couldn't deliver on time. They tried to get me to keep the order and assured me it would be there in the early morning and would be like the boquet ordered. I clarified that no Lillies were to be included (recipient allergic), the original boquet that had been ordered had no lillies at all. The subsequent boquet that was delivered in the end, not containing anything like the orginal and left at the door was filled with massive lillies and looked worse for wear, being delivered from San Diego. The discrepencies in what you receive with them are a laughable--if you hadn't paid joke--and not even remotely in any way close (or of a normal substitute). Avoid Ava's flowers at all costs! more

Doesn't deserve even one star 7/24/2013

Avas Flowers deserves absolutely no stars. I ordered a $60 bouquet with pink snap dragons, lt pink roses, purple accents and small white daisies. There was suppose to be a white bear, (re: Bear Hug Bouquet shown on their site). What got delivered were bright pink and purple daisies and no bear. Called for a refund which they refused to do. They were then suppose to correct and redeliver order. Low and behold, they delivered the exact same wrong order as before with the bear attached and two red roses added. Called again, was suppose redeliver for the third time, the correct bouquet. Never got delivered. I contacted them again and all they do is hang up on me. Be careful ordereing from this establishment. They do not stand behind their errors and will substitute with less expensive flowers for a bigger profit. They told me the pink and purple daisies were an acceptable substitution for snap dragons and roses. WOW! They told me the photos on their site have nothing to do with what will actually be delivered. That under the photo of the Bear Hug Bouquet it stated pink and purple flowers, so with that description they can use any pink and purple flowers they want and the bouquet doesn't ever have to resemble the photos. All I can say is it's a good thing I had my granddaughter send me pic via her phone of what she got compared to what she should have received or I would have never known I paid $60 for a $15 bouquet. more

EPIC FAIL 2/1/2013

I gave it one star only because we have to leave at least one star in the ratings here. I wanted to leave zero star rating. That's what is earned w/absolutely NO service. I called to ask a simple question, a call which they invite all over the website w/their number in bold. I was on hold listening to a very repetitive/unrelenting/annoying recording for over 20 minutes -- I REALLY wanted a certain beautiful tulip arrangement -- so it kept me holding for them. At almost 25 freaking minutes someone took me off hold but never answered -- never said a word. I could hear people talking in the background & also the person holding the phone, moving it around & breathing. For about 2 minutes I said things like, "hello? Anyone there?" Nothing. No response whatsoever. Then, I was disconnected. The only 'service' I rec'd from this NOT LOCAL company who lies & says they are in our "community," was to be able to craft an email to them about my experience, which I'm confident will be summarily discarded. This was enough info to know that this company is not professional, organized or anything that would encourage me to give them my hard-earned money -- not even for the perfect tulip arrangement. If I did business like they do, I'd be out of business. EPIC FAIL. more
