Long story. I'll make short. Their website says, in part, "you'll be amazed..vehicle will look as before the accident(I'm paraphrasing). Wow!
what a boast. My truck was in twice times, repaired four times(mostly paint). And now I have a new body shop that will finish the job. Automotive Impressions left 8 fisheyes to repair and buffed thru the clear coat in about 8 areas of my left side bed rail and tailgate. So now all the plastic trim and decals have to be replaced and new paint applied. The Farmers adjuster had to ride herd on Jerry, who a)never apologized for the terrible work and B) made every excuse in the book. They treated my truck as if it was a 1991 pickup, rather than the 2011 64k truck I have. No one in their shop, including the owner, should be working in this field.
RESPONSE FROM Automotive Impressions:
We are truly sorry Mr. Winkler is not satisfied with the repairs made at Automotive Impressions. Mr. Winkler picked his vehicle up on Friday, June 29, 2012 and seemed satisfied with the repairs. We were not aware there was a problem until we received a phone call from the Insurance Company. We met with the customer on July 3, 2012 to discuss his concerns. Jerry listened and was focused on Mr. Winklers concerns. He did apologize and explained to the customer what would be done to address his concerns. The customer brought the truck back in and we addressed all his concerns and replaced his spray on liner for a second time to make sure all was taken care of at the same vendor, Mr. Winkler initially had the liner installed. Jerry contacted the Insurance Company to inspect the vehicle before we contacted the customer to deliver the vehicle. The Insurance Company inspected the vehicle and confirmed all issues were addressed and corrected. We contacted the customer. Mr. Winkler seemed satisfied. Once again, we were not aware of any issues until we received this survey.
We have been in business 18 years and take every job very seriously. This is our livelihood. It doesnt matter what year or make the vehicle is. That is the customers vehicle and deserves every bit of care and attention as the next vehicle. We do not claim to be infallible, however we are always accountable.
