Review content:
I just bought a house, and Steam It was one of the first groups that I had come out. If you saw the way the previous owner lived, you'd have probably done the same thing though... Anyway: I got all of the carpet steam cleaned, got the furnace cleaned out and then covered (blown insulation in the attic was being sucked in like mad), and got all of the tile stained and sealed. Honestly, I expected to spend somewhere around $300-$400 for their services and ended up spending more like $750. They weren't shady or anything -- this was my decision. Sealing the grout is pretty inexpensive and good if there are no notable stains, but our kitchen grout in particular looked just awful. That's when I bit the bullet and just said stain and seal all tile in the house for consistency's sake. Expensive, but I believe it will be worth it. They mentioned coming out every year to renew the seal or something like that. I just want to say thank you for the professionalism and excellent work in the house -- it really was night and day! I should note that everyone that's come in since has thought that the tile was brand new. A couple of them are planning on calling up Steam It for their own places.
Pros: Carpet and tile look soooo much better
Cons: Staining and sealing tile = not cheap
