Have you had issues with Austin Pain Associates? Have you been questioned as to why your presecription start dates and office dates are not matching up? Have you been denied you...

Thanks for everything! 7/29/2011

I cannot believe the bad reviews on here. The staff at Austin Pain Associates is by far the most caring of anywhere I've been. The doctor I saw was sincerely concerned with my case, and I'm well on my way to getting back to where I used to be. I would definitely recommend Austin Pain Associates to any pain sufferer. more

They Will CUT YOU OFF!!! 4/1/2011

Have you had issues with Austin Pain Associates? Have you been questioned as to why your presecription start dates and office dates are not matching up? Have you been denied your C2 script on the flly by those well educated and experienced nurses and PAs that hold the life of the doctor's patients in their hands? It will happen and you will be CUT OFF!!!. Due to the lack of office administration skills, education, and abilities, your official medical and prescription records are held in the hands of idiots. Be sure when you go to your med checks you take a witness, a lawyer, and a tape recorder to prove that you are not a drug addict but you have a legitimate injury or medical condition that requires continued pain management which THEY planned for you, and then got you hooked on and then they CUT YOU OFF!!. It's better to endure the pain of a legitimate injury than to endure the pain of the Austin Pain Associates. Go someplace else...move to another town, but don't go to Austin Pain Associates. more

neglectful, indifferent, unconcerned 10/5/2009

I've waited 3 months for paperwork to be processed and an appointment set. There are no returned calls, no progress and no relief from my RSD pain. It has taken 2 weeks, with constant calling, for the PA to authorize a clerk to complete a document and fax it to the insurance company for a pre-auth. for a refill that should already have been approved. Meanwhile, I'm still in pain, I discover that no records have been forward to anyone for 6 months which explains the lack of refill approval. Ins. did not know I was even still a patient. And still another week has passed and I'm still in pain! Calling results in numerous messages to answering services, with not return calls. And, I'm still in pain. The longer it takes, the harder it is to cure, or minimize...and I'm still in pain. Pros: Dr. Wages has current kinowledge Cons: Everything else more

Avoid this practice - no one will ever call you back 9/18/2009

Actually you don't need to avoid this practice cause they avoid you! I have left numerous messages for over two weeks and none of my calls were returned. In fact, everytime I called to leave another message, the people who answer the phone kept apologizing that no one would return my calls and said that was a frequent problem and they had no idea why none of the calls were returned. I did not have this problem before Dr. Dubois joined this practice. Pros: None Cons: Won't return calls more

Don't go there 9/14/2009

I went in severe pain. You see the doctor once, and then you see a nurse all other visits. You have to have special permission to see the doctor again. Pros: Dr. Wills is fine Cons: The rest of the staff and process is horrible! more

I would not go any place else 4/11/2009

I have been using Dr Wills for at least 11 yr's Pros: The very best Cons: none more

Still in pain from procedure 8/17/2008

I went to Austin Pain Associates for epideral injections for severe back pain. After I came out from the procedure, I was in severe pain at one of the injection sites (I had two performed) and since I was still coming out from the anesthsica, I had trouble asking questions. Dr Weber told me that he was not able to finish one of the injections and even though I ask why repeatedly, I never got a straight answer but was told I would get a phone call in the next couple of days to follow up and set up a new appt. Once I left, I paged the doctor since I was in so much pain I couldn't function, but with no response. I missed the next day of work, and had to leave early the day after b/c I was in so much pain from severe headaches. After researching on the web, I found out that I had a "spinal headache" which is caused by a doctor piercing the spinal cord, causing spinal fluid leakage- Definitly not! what is suppose to happen. I have since paged Dr. Weber again, and now 5 days later, still no response (nor did I ever get the phone call I was promised to follow up with what went wrong with the original injection). These people made my pain 5 times worse than it orginally was, and I would never go back to this place for treatment. Cons: Still in pain, terrible bed-side manner, wont return patients phone calls!!!! more

They treat you like family 5/7/2007

Everyone you encounter at this clinic is caring and gentle. I'm terrified of needles, but I don't even feel it when they give me an IV, they're that good! They are empathetic and gentle. You'll never find a better clinic. more
