What can be said about Aurelio's in homewood? Nothing positive, that's for sure. Pros: None Cons: Horrible food, worse service, disgusting, expensive

I have been enjoying Aurelio's pizza since 1967, and it never gets old. The sauce is the best, I prefer the thin crust with sausage. A little higher in price the others, but the quality and taste are worth the price. more

This is the location that started it all for Aurelio's! This is large, 2 floor facility with outdoor seating available, weather permitting. The best thin crust with the fresh ingredients in the south burbs! A must eat!! more

Aurelio's (shipped) pizzas are WAY too salty! 12/16/2009

I had Aurelio's ship three pizzas to me out of state: 2 mushroom & black olive and 1 pepperoni. I was excited when I received them because there was SO much cheese on them and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Pros: Lots of cheese, generous with fresh toppings Cons: Extremely salty! More expensive than other shipped pizzas more

If you grew up on Aurelio's pizza in Homewood, nothing else compares. Of course you have to like thin crust to really appreciate the taste. The secret is in the sauce...and you can only find it at the Homewood location. more

The Original Aurelio's 10/12/2008

This is the first and oldest Aurelio's Pizza location. The menu includes pizza, pasta, salads, sandwiches, soups, and desserts. They have great thin crust pizza and it's even better when you request it from the old oven. The atmosphere is nice and it is always crowded. You can never go wrong with Aurelio's, everyone loves it! more

#1 Best Pizza in The Suburbs!!!! 9/17/2007

I remember way back when Aurelio's was located just down the street in a small restaurant with people lined up outside waiting for a table. Their pizza was great then as is now. This pizza has flavor compared to other places and the right balance of ingredients so there is a compromise of flavor. Those who don't like the taste of Aurelio's probably were raised up eating food from a box or can and wouldn't know great taste if it fell on them. I tried a lot of pizzas in my time, from the "City", to the suburbs, and Aurelio's is simply the best! more

Aurelio's Pizza is pretty good..I can't say that it's the best I've ever tasted. One thing I have always loved about their pizza is their cheese. It's definately high quality. I have even had their pizza delivered to Michigan and the pizza was good, but the cheese was exception. Sounds a little weird, but it's the truth Pros: Good pizza more

Aurelio's is the best thin crust pizza I've ever had! I grew up with it, so I'm a bit biased, but my husband grew up just outside NYC. He now says it's HIS favorite! We miss it terribly out in Oregon. Will someone please open a franchise out here? more
