Worst clinic ever! I have gotten laser treatments at several places now and recently moved so thought to try this out with a Groupon- horrible mistake! They use the oldest type of lasers that literally stab you and feels like needles (and I have high pain tolerance!). It was the first time I couldn’t continue with any treatment and they would not refund me for the package I purchased. The owner even had the gall to blame me for using 10 minutes of the tech’s time. Terrible people here! Don't even consider. The woman who claims to be the office manager is a maniac control freak who slams, bams and blames everything that could go wrong unknown to you, on you! Of course nothing could be their systems or practices. Hostile and aggressive. Don't go. Don't bite. Don't consider. more

Today was my second visit to Aura Laser Skin Care in Kirkland. The first visit was in the afternoon and the lobby was full. The official paperwork I was handed were printed so poorly I could barely read the typing. Imagine a typed page from 1970, that has been photocopied 100K times so it is blotched and crooked. Very unprofessional. The small waiting room has one very uncomfortable bench to sit on. In one corner of the rom there is a large "professional" make-up set that is covered in dust. I waited 1 hour 20 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time. My thought was that they maybe had a nurse call in sick, or that patients were running late, so I endured. Once in the "office" (a tiny closet space that is full of crap, messy, dirty, unprofessional) I did not receive an apology for the wait, just "stand here so I can take your picture." Then I went back to get the Botox injections from the woman who I now know is the man's wife. She is nice enough and professional, and she did a good job. One minute later, I am in my car. So, now for today. I made my appt. months ago specifically so I could get the first appt. of the day - 10am. I arrive at 9:55 and the doors are locked. Around 10:10 the receptionist arrives and unlocks the door. Hands me the same worn out, unprofessional forms, and says nothing. When I ask about my appt. time, she says that no one else is there yet, meaning the owner and his wife. Around 10:25 the owner arrives, saying that his wife is not far behind him. I wait patiently, see her arrive, and wait some more. At 10:35 I ask the receptionist again when I will be able to be seen. She says in a few minutes. At 10:45 the owner takes me into the same messy and unprofessional "office" to take my picture. I tell him that I am frustrated by the wait and he tells me, without any hesitation or apology that "You will always have to wait. You will wait because of the low price." This set my nerves on edge - they truly don't care about their clients! I will never go back! more

The receptionist/ manager is a bully. When I tried to offer feedback about a tech I felt didnt do a good job she said my complaint was invalid because she trained her and their staff is the best etc. She then accused me of trying to get free services when I definitely did not. I hope while she was on her tangent in front of a waiting room full of customers they got an idea of the type of establishment this woman runs and took their business elsewhere. Read the reviews on any site, this woman is something else. Steer clear! more

This all started with a Groupon for Laser Hair Removal and a series of IPL/Mircroderm facials. I understood when I started the hair removal process that 6 sessions would not be enough. I ponied up the extra cash for an additional 6 sessions and a year later not a tiny difference. I have wasted a complete year coming in every 6-7 weeks without a single thing to show for it. Seriously, no improvement what so ever. I keep being told to give it time but, I am sorry after a year you should at least see some progress. Here is the straw that broke the camel’s back. I purchased 20 units of Botox and when I met with the doctor he advised me that 10 units would be plenty. I have to admit he was right and I was thrilled to have enough units to have a second round! He did a fantastic job. It's been almost 4 months and it was time to go back in. When I called I was told that the chart showed that I had already used up all 20 units. I mentioned the last appointment with the doctor and that he in fact had only used 10 units. The receptionist said she would follow up on it and get back to me. I had appointment set for today. No phone call about any issues so I left work early to make my appointment. I was told that for any reason if there was an issue they would call me before the appointment. Today I left work early and took the time off. I drove all the way from Seattle to the North Kirkland location only to find out that their record still showed I had used all 20 units. I distinctly recalled the conversation with the doctor and asked to speak with him about this. Apparently this doctor had retired. I insisted that in fact the records were inaccurate. They were chicken scratches on the file by the way. The receptionist contacted the manager and said tough luck. Then to appease me they offered me a deal if I purchased more Botox today. I already paid for the 10 units they owed me and there was no way I was paying them a single dime more! more

Please learn from my totally negative experience... poor customer service, short-notice cancellations, ineffective treatments. I am a successful business owner and even tried to help them by explaining why their business practices will chase people away... they chose to argue with me. Strike 1,2 and 3... more

DONT BUY their Groupons for Laser Hair removal....there is a reason they keep selling them thru Groupon...mass fast cash, and nothing for it. These guys have done these Groupons 3 times in just over a year, talk about a cash grab...,and this time they are increasing their 6 sessions to 8....hmmmm, looking for more quick cash from unsuspecting. The Laser they use does nothing...the laser itself isnt that great (check reviews), thats why they say for any skin type...but on top of that I dont think they are changing the tips. I bought 2 - SIX session packages for them...that is 12 sessions for my legs...guess what...nothing has changed! I am not a virgin to laser hair removal...and I have the perfect skin type for it. Had my bikini done a few years ago, better laser, Better place...bikini free and clear. Now I have wasted alot of cash and more importantly alot of time. As far as techs most were good, one I swear was just trained...but the worse is the manager KATY - OMG, this is one self centered, self absorbed, know it all....bad management! Dont waste your time or money here, there are better places with results...pay a bit more and actually get something for your money! ***UPDATE: 9.26.12 - AURA Laser Skin Care just called my personal cell # to THREATEN that if I didnt change my HONEST review of them that they would take "Action." Are you flippin kidding me...these guys are sooooooo SHADDY!! They mislead customers, then are rude when they are questioned about their service, then they think they can try and STRONG ARM people into changing their reviews. These guys should be happy that I wrote such a tame review of them...I have much more I can say about their "service." And as far as the "client" contacting you because they arent happy...Katy, the joke of a manager, told me I didnt know what I was talking about, kept infering that I was not telling the truth about the service I got...I never complained once, but the first time I did I saw their true colors! BEWARE! more
