This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The service was incredible from start to finish. The hostesses were very friendly and helpful. My waiter approached me and called me by name. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, extremely friendly, and professional. The food was incredible! I had the peppercorn crusted ahi tuna in the congac cream sauce. I wish I was in town longer so I could enjoy this resaurant again! Pros: SERVICE!!!, Exquisite Food, SERVICE!!! Nice selection, service not... 12/30/2004

My wife and I dined here in late December on a Thursday eve. ""Packed in there"" is how I would describe the tables, thus creating a very noisy atmosphere. The servers and bus-staff all wear the same uniforms. You think there are lots of servers, but there really arent. After waiting about 5 minutes, one server-type told us that even though he wasn't our server, he would go ahead and get our water. When our server finally did arrive, he took our drink, appetizer, and meal choices right then. After about 10 more minutes, I finally stopped someone and asked them for some of the bread everyone else had. Our appetizer was delicious (buffalo shrimp), and our meal, when it finally came about 30 minutes later, was good too. Good food & Service 10/10/2004

My experience @ASC has always been GREAT! I love the sushi, seafood, & service. Portions are very satisfying even for kids. I believe the desert menu could improve in terms of variety. The exsisting deserts are good. That would make it perfect. Pros: great food, great seafood, great sushi Cons: , little too noisy more

Do not let the appearance fool you 7/24/2004

The outside appearance can really fool you. I thought that this place was nothing more than a Red Lobster. Once inside, the ambience, lights and decor, you know for sure that it isn't. This had to be the freshest red snapper on the planet. The spinach was tender and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place for all seafood lovers. more

EXCELLENT sushi 2/25/2004

Coming from the California coast, I worried that the sushi here would not be edible. I have eaten frozen sushi at other establishments, but this is the first place that had GREAT quality, and the sushi chef is a star! We go there frequently. The shrimp tempura roll is delicious, and so is the albacore and seaweed salad. Mmmm. As for the regular restaurant, the entrees are nice. I enjoyed the crabcakes, and the shoestring potatoes are perfect. The waitstaff have been excellent and newbies. Depends on who you get, I guess. poor service 11/4/2003

My wife and I had the experience of an excellent meal ruined by poor service. Drinks never came, appetizer forgotten, long wait for refill of water glasses. The waiters seemed understaffed and under-trained. I mentioned the problem to the manager upon leaving (first telling him the food was wonderful) and he seemed uninterested. We went back one month later and THE SAME THING - great food and terrible service! The waiter seemed frazzled and didn't even know what a Kirin Ichiban or Asahi (common brands of Japanese beer) were. The atmosphere/decor are very nice. The service was perfect and not intrusive. The food was fabulous. I can't wait to go back again for the wood-grilled tuna. It was so great, it will be difficult to try anything else!!!! Pros: Food, Service, Ambience Cons: Too far from home! more
