I was in Boston with my boyfriend for Labor Day weekend and we had no dinner plans for our last night on Sunday. The concierge recommended Atlantic Fish and so we went in without a reservation. We waited about 2 minutes and got a great table. The menu was a bit overwhelming because there was soooo much to chose from, but the food was great. I think I could have picked anything on the menu and liked it. To start with we got shrimp (which were very fresh and pretty HUGE) and the Maine Crab & Artichoke Dip which was awesome. For dinner we split the Sea Bass which was very well prepared and cooked. It came with lobster pasta which was sooooo good. I would definitely come back to Atlantic Fish and recommend it to anyone... the food was awesome and the service was really great :) more

I was in Boston this past week for work. One night we ate at the Atlantic Fish Company. They were really busy but since we had made reservations we didn't have to wait too long. I was impressed with the restaurant, they were very welcoming and even though they were very busy, we still had great service. We ordered the Maine Crab & Artichoke Dip as a starter, which was very good. I also ordered a bowl of their Clam Chowder which was amazing and I got the Maine Lobster for my dinner, which was cooked to perfection. Overall my dining experience was excellent and I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Boston more

Appetizers were unexceptional. Glass of $12 wine was sour. But the $32 halibut entree tasted like reconstituted fiberboard - dry, tough, crumbly and flavorless, nothing like what fresh fish tastes like. My wife's striped bass was seriously overcooked. We returned both; the second bass was edible but ordinary, but the second halibut was no different than the first. A spoiled dinner experience. Our impression was that this is a tourist trap - we went based on the recommendation of hotel's concierge and the fact that it takes a couple hours to get a table. Absolutely wonderful melt-in-your-mouth fish. Great attentive service, the waiter was constantly refilling our water glasses for instance. My wife and I went back to Boston to visit friends, etc. and made a reservation at the Atlantic Fish Co. for our anniversary. Everything was great: service, food, atmosphere... I told them it was our anniversary when I made the reservation, so after a wonderful meal they brought us a free decadent chocolate raspberry cake. We even called the manager (Todd McCullough) over to tell him about our experience. We highly recommend AFC for any special occasion. Pros: everything more

What can I say, this place does seafood well and our waitress was awesome. That's all I ask for in a restaurant, great food and a smile. Atlantic delivered. Was working in Boston in June and able to dine in this great establishment. I had a dip for an appetizer and loved it. The fresh bread as a great touch. My entree of swordfish was cooked excellent and my side of asparagus and spinach complemented my meal well. The east coast totally destroys the west coast in dining and Atlantic adds to that fact. more

We go to Atlantic Fish every once in a while and usually leave very satisfied. The food is great (I highly recommend the raw bar appetizer- $60 for 4 but we get it as a meal for 2). I usually make a reservation and get sat without a problem at the better tables. Service is prompt an courteous. The place is upscale and in a great location and I have never had problems with them food. If I ever want to get dressed up and go out to dinner this is the place I choose. My family never goes out to eat because they always are left leaving dissappointed and usually say they can make better food at home. I was given the task of finding a place to eat for the 6 of us for Father's Day Brunch. Needless to say I was nervous, but we all love seafood so I figured everyone would find something they liked. Boy was I suprised! We all got an appetizer, entree and 3 of us got dessert and I could go on all day about the unsurpassed freshness, creativeness and classic taste the food had but I must comment on the supurb service. The staff is really very knowledgeable. Everyone at out table had smiles all day. We had a 12:30 reservation and stayed till around 4. It was relaxing, and enjoyable for very second! Everyone had a wonderful meal, My sister is a bit of a conniseour and she was floored by her salad of salmon,sea bass, shrimp and scallops, My mother got the scallops and didn't stop to speak till it was gone, my father, the sea bass blackened and he has impressed, me and my nephew got the swordfish and it was truly the most succulent steak of swordfish I have ever had, finally my brother in law had the crab cakes and he said that it was like BUTTER! It was a great experience for my stomach,my family and I can recommend this place to anyone without a doubt to be the BEST seafood in Boston. Went there on New Year's Eve with my girlfriend. Delicious food, amazing service and a wonderfully lively (but not too noisy) atmosphere. What's more, the bill was more than reasonable. We had a 730 reservation, got there a few minutes early, and beacuse of the red sox game, the place was packed, everyone was waiting till the game was over. we didn't get seated till 745. The manager kept apologizing and gave us our dessert for free. Had he not acknowleged us and kept checking in with us, we would have left, but his attentiveness made all the difference. Our waitress, Nicole, was very pleasant and made terrific recommendations based on our dietary restrictions and personal preferences. On a recent trip we dined at The Atlantic Fish Company on our first night in Boston. It set the standard for excellent food and service (thank you, Amanda!) for our trip to Boston and Cape Cod. The food was excellent and the service, on a very busy evening, was impeccable. The wine list is good and not too pricey. more

this is my favorite resturant out of the entire boston array of resturants!!! I would have to declare that our server Grace was absolutely amazing. She is the sweetest young waitress I have ever met. She was so helpful with ordering a bottle of wine and suggesting what wines would go with which entrees and appetizers. Everyone MUST order the seared ahi tuna, it was absolutly incredible. And for entrees, the pan seared sea bass over a bed of escarole with a side of lobster ravioli was to die for. The resturant is always busy, but never too busy to attend to all of your needs. Grace was incredible, I'd even request for her at the door because she is such an amazing waitress. my boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was a beautiful night. it was raining a little, so we couldn't sit outside, but the waitress was attentive without being overwhelming and the menu was extensive. the steamers i had were delicious and my boyfriend got the seafood mix (with even half a lobster) soup thing which he loved. at the end i refused to order dessert bc i was so full, so the waitress came by sheepishly with just a candle, it was sweet. would recommend any romantic evening! Who'd have thought a fish restaurant to have such an excellent brunch, but it's true! The freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juices are made to order. If you listen closely sometimes you can even hear the juicer at the bar. There are the traditional egg and pancake dishes, but also some more creative items. The Lobster & Asparagus Quiche and Shrimp Fritatta are 2 excellent choices. A newer item on the menu is the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. The hash is the best I've had. It's almost 100% corned beef. The staff is excellent; especially Michael, John, and Kelly! more

Atlantic Fish Company is a great place to enjoy some of Boston's finest seafood. There is outdoor dining that is great during the spring and summer, intimate inside dining for the perfect date.
