First and foremost, I'm a regular dog owner I inherited my dog ""Mimi', from my father after he became sick and then passed away. I used the facility for the first time three years ago when my father, I and Mimi came up from Florida for one day at the Tropicana where we stayed, they didn't accept dogs, we flue in though Atlantic City Airport before the two hour trip back to Old Bridge, NJ. This time around I had made plans to travel to AC and the family booked a flight to Puerto Rico and no one to stay with the darn Dog! So I said to myself I'll leave Mimi at the same place she stayed before the ""Atlantic City Pet Hotel"" this time three days and two nights. I reviewed their web site and spoke to the owner Scott, I was amazed how much these people love animals. They walk the dogs 4 times a day bottle water YES, not a typo BOTTLE WATER for a Dog and they even gave her some antibiotics pills she need to take twice a day at no extra charge. After two days they have a mandatory bath for the dog, I said to myself this is going to cost me. Nope just $25 for the bath and even cut her nails, the kennel has video surveillance and the Kennel they call it ROOMS have picture hanging for the dogs, WOW...must admit my dog is a little scared with strangers but at this place she seemed like she wanted to stay. Great place for your pet Mimi smelled clean and fresh if she could talk I guess she would give it a good review too. more

Our boys loved the Pet Hotel 4/25/2014

Our Lab and Pom just returned from a 7 night stay at the Pet Hotel in Atlantic City including full groomings. They had so much fun that they did not want to leave. Their groomers did a fabulous job and they both look great. The staff was knowledgeable and caring. The facility was clean and odor free. The accommodations were large and spacious. Our boys will be back to the Atlantic City Pet Hotel next month for 7 nights while we take a Caribbean Cruise. It is a blessing that we can travel guilt free with total peace of mind knowing our boys are getting the best care. more

Our Lab and Pom just returned from a 7 night stay at the Pet Hotel in Atlantic City including full groomings. They had a great time and didn't want to leave. The groomers did a fabulous job. They both looked terrific. The staff was knowledgeable and caring. The facility was very clean and the sleep areas large and comfortable. We will be bringing them back for a 7 night stay next month when we cruise to the Caribbean. It is a big relief to travel guilt free knowing our boys are getting the best care at the Atlantic City Pet Hotel. more

I had the best experience with my dog here. The people are so awesome and friendly. My dog could not have been in a better place. It is clean and my dog was treated as if he belonged to them. I recently had to go to Atlantic City to handle some family business and needed a place for my cat while I was there. I found AC Pet Hotel online and decided to give them a try. When I got there They showed me where my precious kitty would be staying. I walked into a kitty paradise, it was a huge room with things to climb on and in the cats could have free run of the room if they wanted or just lounge in there own condo. I knew my Maggie would be very happy. I was very pleased with AC Pet Hotel and next time I have to go away I know where Maggie will be staying. Thank You AC Pet Hotel for making my travels that much easier. more

My Pets love to go to the pet hotel 5/7/2012

My husband and I have been using the Atlantic City Pet\r Hotel for 6 years. They are located in a safe residential area called Chelsea Heights near my home in \r Ventnor Heights.Their hours are convenient. The owner, manager, and support staff are excellent. Our dogs can't wait to enter the Pet Hotel, and, they race from the car to the front door. Our cat is happy staying upstairs (away from the dogs) in her own large cat condo which has different levels so she can jump around. The back of the condos face windows which allow Baby Cat to look outside, and see the birds, and squirrels. She also is allowed out of her condo to run around. They keep the Pet Hotel very clean, and odor- free. They keep vases filled with star gazer lillies, lilacs, and other pleasant smelling flowers.\r I recently referred friends coming from Virginia to the Pet Hotel. They were very happy with the many excellent reviews on the internet, and concerned with the not so good reviews. We can tell you from our experiences that your pet will be very happy there. The Pet Hotel offers everything listed on their internet site, and much more. My husband and and I researched all of the reviews on several search engines. It seems to us that the same person, or persons are behind the negative reviews. As regular repeat customers of the Pet Hotel their reviews sound like they are describing another pet boarding location. We have never found any of the negative comments to be true. My husband and I believe these reviews are written by a Pet Sitter since they seem to push Pet Sitters in their reviews. Those looking for a Kennel, or Pet Hotel are not interested in pet sitters who come to their homes once, or twice a day to walk and feed my dogs, or to feed my cat, and clean their litter. I know when my friends, and relatives bring their pets to Atlantic City, they are very happy with the Pet Hotel. They love to visit their pets, which most Kennels and Pet Hotels do not allow. When you visit the Pet Hotel, you will agree with us. It is a wonderful place that is run by professional, caring people. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Don't do it 3/17/2012

I feel horrible for ever leaving my cat here. She didn't stay downstairs which I was aware of and was supposed to be kept upstairs in her own ""suite"". They told me she'd be given bottled water. That they would play with her. I can guarantee she was pent up in a cage the entire time. The whole sch-peal was a lie!!! They never let me see where she stayed and she was so freeked out when I picked her up. Ever since I left her there she has been to the vet countless amount of times from licking herself excessively from nervousness. The next visit she'll be on kitty prozac according to my vet. The place is dirty and reeked of urine. I never saw the owners but I guess their children that seem to be running the place. I don't know where these good reviews are coming from but I should have taken my cat elsewhere and regret ever stepping foot in that place. Please, if you love your animal-don't do it!! more

I live in Brooklyn, NY where I have access to every kind of service for pets and yet, when I go on vacation I take my special, precious little dog, Spanky, to the Atlantic City Pet Hotel and Grooming. I have been going there for 6 years. Whether it's overnight because I making a little visit to Atlantic City or taking a 3 week vacation, I know that my Spanky will be safe and loved. The entire staff is kind and loving and treats each pet as if it were his/her own. They do more than just the needed or necessary. They go beyond just care. They take each individual pet and see to it's needs. Whether it's some extra attention, hugs, medication, feeding - they see to it that your pet receives the best of care. I know. I've been to the places that provide the warehousing. This place is different. \r You can go on your vacation worry-free. more

Don't make the mistake!!! 3/9/2012

When I first walked in the first thing I wanted to do was grab my dog and run out the door!! The office was disgusting (to say the least) and had random dogs running around. I dont know why I even left my dog there, it was a huge mistake! I couldnt even enjoy myself because all I did was worry about him. The next day when I picked him up he smelled awful, was very sick and completely freaked out! .. It was very obvious he was not cared for. I honestly think they have no idea how to care for pets and its ashame my dog had to suffer... !!! more

Her white furr had yellow stains and she had diarrhea and was throwing up for a couple days, I felt like the worst mommy ever.. PLEASE dont put your dog threw whatever the heck my dog had to go threw!!! Learn from my mistake!! more
