I will never take my dog back here again. The facility stinks of urine and toxic cleaners. Dogs are wearing diapers and she was terrified when I picked her up. Don't go by the reviews posted by the owner - review the facility yourself - DEMAND to see ""behind the curtain"" and ask for 5 LOCAL REFERENCES...they won't be able to provide them because everyone in Atlantic County knows they are the worst facility. more

Hi my name is Mark and I?m the hotel manager. I would just like to say if you're looking for a fun, safe, loving environment for your dog or cat this is the place you want to be. I am responsible for feeding, walking, playing and caring for your pets. I sterilize and clean your pets play and sleep area every morning and every night. The owners adore dogs and if your dog is friendly they give you the option of letting your dog have free rain of the place, so this way there never caged unless to sleep, or if you prefer to have your pet separate that's fine too. We do have diapers and ONLY use them at the pet owner?s request, as some people do use them at home and don?t want to break there dogs routine. You are also free to check up on your pet or just visit to see how they're doing. I got into this business because I love dogs so I joined the family over at Atlantic City Pet Hotel and Grooming and could not imagine myself anywhere else. But please don't take my word for it. Amazing Hotel for Pets 1/11/2009

I was referred by both CitiSearch and my Casino Hotel. I love Atlantic City but I love my Maltese more. I would never put Winston in a Kennel and have had bad experiences with pet sitters. The AC Pet Hotel is amazing. They are minutes from my Hotel/Casino. The staff is wonderful. the facility is clean and adorable. They are truly a dog and dog lovers dream. They give lots pf attention to each dog. They gets lots of attention and play time. Their sleep areas are large and clean and they spend very little time in them. The dogs are either playing up front, in the middle area, the large back area, or the large enclosed yard, always supervised by a dog loving staff member. I just returned from AC and Winston was so happy there that I am reserving a place for Wnsten when I take my 2 week vacation in Feb. Check them out. You will be very happy. PS They are on a lovely tree lined street in a safe neighborhood filled with single homes, far away from the riff raff of the trypical Atlantic City streets. Pros: everything was great!!! Cons: I have to travel 100 miles every time I want to go on vacation, but it is worth it! more

This is the perfect vacation place for my dog. They have lots of fun. It's a great experience because Spiky gets to interact with other dogs. The staff is extrememly nice and they love and care for my dog when I am away. The groomer is an excellent groomer. There is no other place in New Jersey like it. This is the perfect vacation place for my dog. They have lots of fun. It's a great experience because Spiky gets to interact with other dogs. The staff is extrememly nice and they love and care for my dog when I am away. The groomer is an excellent groomer. There is no other place in New Jersey like it. Club Med for Dogs 7/11/2008

I take my poodle to the Pet Hotel whenever I travel for business or vacation. Misty loves it there. When I tell her she is going to the Pet Hotel she gets all excited. She gets lots of attention and play time there. She gets her own air conditioned room with a bed and stereo music. When we arrive, she can't wait to see Baby the Pet Hotel mascot, then looks for Cookie, Simon, Buddy, Thea, Angel and Star, some of the regulars that come every weekend, that she loves to play with. It's so adorable to see her play during doggy play time. It looks like Club Med for dogs. I recommend the Pet Hotel to everyone I know who has pets. I also take Misty there for grooming. They make her look like a show dog. It's a big relief to know that Misty is well taken care of and receives lots of love when I travel. They are very deserving of the awards they received for Best Pet Hotel and Best Grooming, Pros: They take excellent care of my pet. more

I love to come to Atlantic City and now so does my Spanky. I live in Brooklyn, NY and have access to the best kennels in the world. Spanky and I would rate this one up there with the best. He gets so excited when we pull up that he jumps out of the car as soon as I open the door and races up to the kennel door and starts to jump up to the window so they can see him and let him in. He and all the dogs get special, one on one attention. If your pet has special medical needs the staff will take care of that. If your pet is on a special diet, the staff will take care of that. they get walked a minimum of 4 times a day - usually more- including at 10pm. they leave out toys for the dogs and play with them. No dog ever leaves there dirty. The place is inspected by the proper authorities and they pass 100% every time. I have watched and know that the staff and owners are kind, patient, caring people and would never do anything that could possibly hurt an animal. they are always cleaning up because ""dogs will be dogs"" and Scott and the staff never get angry or yell at the dogs. They like to say that ""it's a dog hotel and we don't charge extra for the slips!"" Dogs truly do rule here. My name is Michel and I am a real person with a real dog. My e-mail is Mickeydoll714@msn. Perfect Pet Place 2/1/2008

We usually bring our dogs Griffen and Sade to this pet hotel when we have to go out of town. We are very picky about our dogs so this place was perfect. The facilities are awesome, clean and large. We dont have to worry about our dogs because they walk them, feed them what you want and the dogs are never sad when they have to go in. We love this place and they arent to expensive so that we can still afford to go on vacation. more

After having my pets at The Atlantic City Pet Hotel & Grooming, I found it a sure bet for not only us, but every pet owner. My husband and I have complete confidence in their operation. They told me that their pet hotel operates in a landmark building that was the originally the Atlantic City Salt Water Taffy Factory for many years. It is located in a very safe, and clean area in Atlantic City that is very close to the beaches, and the Atlantic City boardwalk. Their reception area has beautiful original paintings of ""dog-only"" beaches. We tooked our dog out 1 day, which they permit without charging us, to the dog-only beach that was a short drivre away. My dog had a great time on the beach, and was able to run free without his leash. When we arrived, they made us feel at home. We were greeted with a big welcoming hello, and made to feel like you are a part of their family. My pets were treated like true VIP's. No matter how many pets they had, they gave each one lots of love, and attention. Their place is kept very clean, and each pet got their own gated large area, and bed. Even the rooms for small pets are large, with lots of space to run, and play. My dog loved the 4 walks a day, especially the evening walks, They have a large outside yard. We observed a transparent cover so that the sun can shine in, and the rain, snow, and sleet was kept out. We love the idea that if it is raining too hard for the dogs to be walked outside on the grass, they can still go out at least 4 times a day in the backyard area without getting wet. During our stay, we also arranged to have our dog taken upstairs for dog movies. Our cat was placed in a special ""cat only"" area, which was quiet, and away from the dogs. We came in late at night (10:30pm), and they were there to accommodate us. We felt that other dog kennels, and pet hotels can learn alot from this facility. They truly are a Pet Hotel, not a Kennel. We felt that we made the right choice in picking this place. Pros: check in and out anytime, 4 walks a day, you can visit your pet and take them out during the day more

My daughter recently gave birth to a beautiful girl and my first grandchild. I needed a place for my silky terrier (who is my pride and joy) for three weeks while I stayed with my daughter when she came home from the hospital. \r \r I am in law enforcement and have seen many scams and lots of false and exaggerated advertisments. I am a very cautious person and always research products and services before I use them. While reseaching the best place for my baby dog to stay I kept seeing the 24hr AC petHotel everywhere. Their ad looked great and quite honestly too good to be true. Everyone I spoke to had great things to say about them , but it was hard to believe that they could deliver all they promised, especially at such a low cost.\r \r Well I leaned that bigger is not beter, that you don't have to pay more to get more, and some companies do deliver what they advertise.\r \r My dog had a great time. The sleep areas are a good size. The place is kept very clean. The staff is loving, caring and professional. The dogs get 4 individual walks a day including a late night walk which my dog is used to.. If your dog does not like to go out in the rain, they have a big yard with a transparent covering. The sun comes in, but the water stays out. Each dog get lots of play time. They really do give the dogs bottled water. They do not take alot of dogs and the staff to dog ratio is excellent. The dogs get lots of care and attention. I found it a big plus that they are open 7 days and you ae not limited in hours for pick up and drop off. Most places I called had limited pick up and drop off hours, most closed at 6:00pm, some were closed Sundays and some were closed all weekend. I wondered who was there to walk and feed the dogs whe they were closed.\r \r I am extremely happy that I found the Pet Hotel and I am very glad to share my reseach and experience with other pet owners. more

You can leave your pets with confidence. My wife and I are very happy we found them. The Pet Hotel was everything they advertise and more. Their services are very personlized. You can tell they love animals, and all the dogs we saw seem to love them as well. They are a sure bet. Pros: It's a happy, clean, safe and loving home away from home for your pets. Cons: Reservsations for weekends and holidays are difficult to get so book early to avoid disappointment more
