Professional and friendly 11/8/2013

The team who moved us were polite, careful, efficient and hard working. Originally they quoted us 4 hours, but worked hard for us and got it done in 3 hours. Really - they asked me to remove my review 7/30/2013

I just got a request to remove my review - maybe I should lay out what happened - I booked the actual move with them early the week of the 22nd - 9:00am START on Sunday July 28 because we were driving HOME - 17 hours after the movers were done - I got a phone call on Friday, July 26th asking to move the time to either Saturday between 4-6 or Sunday at 12:00noon - I told her that sat was not possible but would be willing to do a little later on Sunday - SHE TOLD ME THEY WOULD BE THERE NO LATER THAN 11:00 - at 2 I get a phone call they are on their way - AFTER I posted the reveiw and left about 4 messages - as of right now I STILL haven't even gotten a courtesy call...... more

Great moving company - reasonable rates! 7/29/2013

We recently had a great moving experience with Atlantic Beach Mover's! Diane was very helpful and patient answering questions and making our moving arrangements. Jeff and "D" were both very professional, courteous and worked hard to finish our move within our two hour time limit. After contacting several other, local moving companies I also found Atlantic Beach Mover's to have very reasonable rates. I highly recommend this moving company! DONT SCHEDULE A SUNDAY MOVE THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE 7/28/2013

I would love to write a real review but I can't - WHY? THEY DIDN"T SHOW UP - NO PHONE CALL NOTHING - I CAN ONLY LEAVE A VOICEMAIL FOR DIANE and there are 4 different numbers that I found - I SAY HIRE A DIFFERENT COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MOVING ON THE WEEKEND!!!! more

Worst Move Ever 5/15/2013

They arrived on time but one of the guys was stoned. The other two guys were busting their tales but he was too stoned to load the truck. They wrecked a bunch of our furniture and never responded to my requests for their insurance. The damage is in the thousands so I have hired an attorney to sue them. They were the worst movers ever. more

Very Prosessional and Friendly Crew! 3/15/2013

The crew showed before the 830 scheduled time, ready to wk. They moved all of my stuff (and I have a lot of stuff...lol) very quickly and remained professional with a great attitude. This my second time using this company and I wld definitely use them again. Definitely worth the money! more

WE TALKED TO THEM (3 TIMES) ABOUT MOVING A HEAVY OBJECT THAT NEEDED A FORKLIFT TO GET IT ON AND OFF THE MOVING TRUCK. EACH TIME THEY SAID NO PROBLEM AND GAVE US THE SAME QUOTE. THEY SHOWED UP THE DAY BEFORE THE SCHEDULED MOVING DAY WITH A BUNCH OF GUYS AND WERE UNHAPPY THAT WE HADN'T FINISHED PREPARING IT FOR MOVING (NEEDED TO BE CRATED). WE WERE CRATING IT AND WOULD HAVE BEEN READY FOR THE AGREED DATE. THEN THEY TOLD US THEY WOULD NEED A FORKLIFT BECAUSE THE PIECE WAS TOO HEAVY TO LIFT MANUALLY (IF IT HADN'T BEEN SO HEAVY WE WOULD HAVE MOVED IT OURSELVES) AND WE NEEDED TO PAY THEM AN EXTRA $600. REALLY MESSED US UP BECAUSE WE NEEDED TO MOVE IT THE DAY WE SCHEDULED IT. more

Highly recommend. I was very nervous about my long distance move to Ohio and this company took the best care of my valued belongings. I hired Atlantic Beach Movers to move some of my property to the Outer Banks.They were very nice to me, and they did what I asked of them. i took a chance with them as i never used them befor. But them made me feel good to be around them and that I could trust them. Will us again! more

They came in "Moved with a quickness". They were very polite,courteous, and respectful. They moved my 2 bedroom apartment with in 4 hours. Nothing broke or damages.I can not say anything more about Herb and Chris other than give them a raise!! Thank you guys I will call and ask for you again. more

They really made it easy to have movers in my house. When everything was done the wife was happy (so I was happy).The price was very reasonalble and everything is still in one piece. Good Job Done 10/3/2011

I moved to Jacksonville Florida. I call many companies to give me some estimates. Even though I had prices all other the charts, I went with Atlantic Beach Movers. They came out and loaded up with no problems. Attitudes and work was great. When they delivered a cople days later they sent a couple of the guys that loaded up. They unloaded, put the items in the rooms where I asked them to put it. They put everything back together for me as well. When they were all done I tiped them and thank them for a job well done. I also told them that I will be moving my mother belongings next month, so I will be calling them back if they would do that job as well. So I would use again and tell others as well.
