I have been a patient of Dr. Crane's for nearly two years and have been happy with everything until a non-routine matter came up. To make a long story short, if you conform to being a routine, quick, and simple patient, you will be happy with this practice. \r
Dr. Crane will not speak to any of her patients over the telephone for any reason, she requires that you make an appointment, even if she just saw you in the same month you are calling in. \r
With an impecable background such as hers, I guess you become so in-demand that you can't provide quality care anymore. Dr. Crane is a VERY competent and talented doctor, but I am guessing that she is over-worked because her attitude and demeanor are very inconsistent and downright unacceptable at times.\r
Also, the ""support"" staff here is TERRIBLE. I am guessing that they, too, are over-worked because every one of them wreaks of exhaustion, poor attitude, and discourteousness. It seems like a cattle call EVERY time I have walked in the door - they just want to hurry up and get you out of there. \r
Also, don't make any simple requests somewhat out of the ordinary such as a copy of your records: ""It will take up to two weeks to send them to you, that's our legal right; the doctor has to give permission/sign off on having them copied."" As stated by a rep in the practice. The last time I checked, it isn't legal to withhold my personal medical records and no one has to give me permission to obtain a copy of them. \r
Sadly, it seems as though this practice prides itself on making it as difficult as possible for a patient to communicate with the doctor, process simple requests, and provide basic customer service. I have had nothing but road blocks when trying to accomplish something as simple as making an appointment. I have had two experiences in the last two weeks where I call to make an appointment and after taking time off of work, being forced to pay for an office visit to have a 5-minute conversation with my doctor regarding some test results, I arrive at the office to find out that they ""don't have any appointment on file."" \r
All in all, I felt compelled to write a review after seeing so many negative reviews about this practice in hopes that it will help someone else avoid a terribly frustrating situation. \r
Also, I sincerely hope that Dr. Crane sees some of these reviews so that she can regain a good reputation and possibly implement some improvements within her practice. \r
I wish Dr. Crane and everyone in this office the very best in all their endeavors in life, it's a shame that they don't seem to wish the same for anyone else. \r
Pros: Competent Doctor
Cons: Everything Else
