Do not do business with this company 3/19/2011

This is the first time I've ever felt the need to complain about a companies serivice. I intially called on Feb. 10th to get my hot tub cleaned and to have a new Filter installed. It's not March 17th and My hot tub that was working fine has now, had a broken filter cap from Service guy and now water is spraying where it wasn't spraying before.\r \r When they first came out I requested afternoon service and they just showed up as I was late and leaving they gave me some Jet cleaner and told me to run in hot tub for 24hrs which We turned filled up our hottub and ran our hot tub. Totally working fine.\r \r Then he came back the following week to put filter in since when they came out the first time they did not have the right one with them.\r \r When they brought the filter out they installed it then broke the cap on the filter. So they said they had to come back out again. So they did with a deffective Cap. So again had to go back to there store to get yet another cap. I was told that I wouldn more

Will never use their services again 8/9/2009

One of the Aqua Quip techs came to diagnose a problem with my low-speed heat pump... Wasn't even able to figure out how to open the electrical door on my Sundance Spa then suggested I needed to replace the pump but only after I had the spa raised up off the ground from its lower deck platform. I took a chance and called another independent Spa repair guy from Everett. He figured out how to open the door and discovered that my pump was just clogged with debris thus saving me the expense of a replacement. I contacted management at Aqua Quip who offered nothing better than a 50% reimbersement on the original service call. I dislike ignorant customer service reps even more than I dislike incompetant service techs. more

Wow'd me with their service! 2/13/2008

I brought a brand new Sundance Optima - It got delivered Saturday Morning right when they said it would be delivered, but once I got it filled up it wasn't heating. I called the store and my sales person (Bill) told me that the service department is closed on the weekends so the earliest they could be out was Monday. That would have been ok, but Bill tried to walk me through some troubleshooting tips, when that didn't work he came out himself --- got it working, and did a free walkthrough about how to operate it.\r \r He took what could of been a disappointment and blew me out of the water with his service. Even though it was all working, the Service Department still called on Monday to let me know they could come by if needed. WOW! more

Poor Service 1/29/2008

Absolutely do not use their recommendations for contractors. The contractor they recommended for my concrete slab failed to install the slab properly (didn't remove grass, not enough rebar, not square, never even removed the forms, etc.). Aqua Quip stood by him the whole way and refused to assist and were rude. I ended up having to have the slab pulled up and repoured. Had much better luck with the electrician whom I picked myself. Service is everything with a hot tub. Buy from a company with better service and quality employees and contractors. more

Very Poor Service 1/28/2008

This is the first time that I've ever written a poor review, but a hot tub is a major investment and this company does not stand by the contractors it recommends for hot tub installation. Service is everything with a hot tub, and this company was very rude to me after its contractor installed a slab that was so bad that I had to hire another company to pull it up and repour it. The original contractor failed to remove the grass, double check the measurements (after Aqua Quip assured me that he was familiar with their products), square the sides, etc. He only used two pieces of rebar. Further, he couldn't even be bothered to pull up the forms. Aqua Quip didn't come out to check his work. In the end, I had to pay for the concrete work twice. I certainly couldn't get good service from this company, which appeared far more interested in the sale than the business/customer relationship. more
