Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous showroom! Everything is so clean and nice looking you can tell these people take pride in their store. The sales people there are smart and know how to make the shopping experience one of a kind. They greet you with a bottle of water or coffee as soon as you enter, and they offer any assistance you need. They walked me through my entire time there giving me terrific prices. honestly, for the level of service they give you before, during, and after the sale, I would have paid more. Whether it's buying an air conditioner, or an entire kitchen, its worth every penny to shop at Appliance World. They are so friggin good at what they do! lol. they make sure you are taken care of properly. more

If you want great service and great prices, this place is for you. I have been a long time customer of appliance world and would never shop anywhere else. They understand their industry really well. They know what exactly you need and they are MORE THAN FAIR on prices. When I first went there I shopped around and their prices were lower than all the other places I went to. Once I picked out my appliances, they were able to get it to me the exact day I needed it. I told them I needed it in the morning (because I work later in the day), and sure enough, the delivery guys were there at 10 am. Could not be more impressed. Terrific place to shop. more

Spent over 20,000 at this store on hi quality appliances I was told a 2nd year warranty would be included with the purchase. My wall oven broke after 14 months and I called the store for service. When the servicer came out I showed him my receipt and he told me the warranty was over so I had to pay for the service call. I immediately called the store and was given the run around. I decided to call the manufacture and they said there was no extra warranty registered with them. I decided to stop into the showroom and was told I needed a newly dated receipt to get re imbursed for the service call. Turns out all they do is fraudulently make up receipts when the customer needs service after the year. I was not very comfortable with this and was told it was standard in the industry to do so. Never again would I buy from this store or recommend any else to buy from them either. They fill you with extra promises overcharge you and are not there when you need assistance. more

I have done my kitchen before in a couple of different houses and I had never used Appliance World before. However, when I was reccomended by my neighbor to go there I was questioning on whether or not they could beat prices else where. more

I bought a whole kitchen from Appliance World because my cabinet maker told me to use them. They were amazing. I walked in, a gentelman offered me a coffee, and we walked around their (beautiful) showroom and my saleperson showed me everything. I shouldnt have even bothered to shop around cause theyre prices were right on par with even bix box stores. THEN, they gave me an EXTRA year warranty on all the appliances. Appliance world communicated with my cabinet maker constantly before the delivery so that everything was set perfectly. more

I used to shop at PC Richards thinking that they had they were the biggest so they must have the best prices. I couldn't have been more wrong. more

My friend had recommended me to Appliance World after they had bought a whole kitchen's worth of appliances from them. She told me that the salesman Stu was extremely knowledgeable and did virtually everything for them from getting the best price to working with their installers directly. I only needed a barbecue this past summer and not a whole kitchen but I went in anyway. I was assisted by a young salesman named Brian who turned out to be one of the most personable people I have ever met! Honestly he made buying a $799 barbecue so much fun with all his jokes. At the end of it he throws in a free barbecue cover and a tool kit just because he ""appreciates people who shop locally"". Best part is...their prices are just as low (if not lower) for all the products they carry as far as I could tell. All the salespeople there are exceptioanlly nice and you honestly feel like its a good friend who is getting you the right product. Whew! I would say more but I dont want this to become a whole novel! Over all, very impressed. And I dont plan on going any where else for a while as long as they keep it up! more

Purchasing from Appliance World has been more than I could have ever hoped for. The overall experience was exceptional. I had a very knowledgable sales person that answered all my questions along with my contractors', in a matter of minutes. Even when my salesman was not available his co-workers were just as friendly and helpful. I will never purchase anywhere else, and I recommend them highly for anyone who needs new appliances. more

I just recently purchased an entire kitchen from Chris @ Appliance World. I am very surprised to see any negative reviews of this establishment. My entire experience was phenomenal. I am not an easy customer to deal with. I spent almost two hours with my salesman the first time I went in. Within an hour of leaving I received a quote via email. I went to three other stores and put together a list of prices all of which Appliance World was able to not only match but beat in most cases. Not only did I get great prices, but I got an education. Then when I got my appliances delivered, one piece was damaged but I got a brand new one delivered the next day. Overall, it was the best shopping experience I have ever had. Two thumbs up!! I highly recommend shopping there. more

2 Years ago I purchased Kitchen Aid appliances. and renovated my entire Kitchen. Appliance World came HIGHLY recommended by Kitchen Master's who did the remodel.The entire set off appliance, stove, refridge,vent and dishwasher.. whole works came to $6,000.00, order them ahead of schedule and Stewart,( whom is a royal dick after he takes your $$$) promised me the rebate, never received them because aplliance deliver was after dateIN WHICH HE KNEW BUT TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY!!!!!!! This is when I should have known their shoddly behavior; however I proceeded forward, due to my inexperience . ( there weren't any negative reviews about them yet, as I did look them up)As we all know re-doing a kitchen from soups to nuts is incredibly expensive. On installation the installers did a piss poor job and had to come back, thanks to our designer from Kitchen Master's and because we still owed them $$, and they were the ones who recommended these people. Needless to say today, my cook top has an enormous crack,( which may I add on install they cracked it a little, but I disregarded it,as it was soooo minor) the stainless steel is discolored, the refridge when the door is opened to long shuts off, or becomes possed b/c it goes on and off, I am afraid it might be the motor and well that repair is the amt. of a new refridge and my dishwasher inwhich cost over $900, is not draining. The Vent from the onset is louder than a disel motor when set on 3....which should not be) There are only 3 people in our house one which is under 7, my husband that if asked doesnot know how to boil water and I. I am so disappointed, I cried in fustration. I have yet to contact them, however after reading these reviews I feel that The only thing I am going to get is the run around, and contact the manufacter. Which, unfortunately we all know is NOT going to a Thing. How can this be happening. I used Appliance World of Huntington, as to receive better merchandise than HomeDepot, Lowe's or Sears. Considering what I am about to embark on ...I should have went to stratch and dent. WTF!!!!! If anybody can give me help as to how ro proceed, I await and look forward to it. WE ORDERED A VERY EXPENSIVE DOUBLE DOOR BOTTOM FREEZER JENN AIR REFRIGERATOR ALONG WITH OTHER APPLIANCES TOTALING OVER $8000. THE REFRIGERATOR CAME INTO THE HOUSE ALREADY BROKEN, IT FREEZES THE FOOD MORE THAN THE FREEZER ITSELF. IGNORED EMAILS, PHONE CALLS THAT SAY THEY ARE WORKING WITH THE MANUFACTURER. IT HAS BEEN SEVEN WEEKS, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, NEW YEARS ALL HAVE GONE BY. NO CHRISTMAS DINNER WITH MY FAMILY. HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF FOOD LOST THAT I WILL NEVER RECOVER EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID THEY WOULD CREDIT US BACK THE MONEY. NO LUNCH TO BRING TO WORK FOR SEVEN WEEKS (I AM SO SICK OF SOUP EVERYDAY) AND ONLY ENOUGH FOOD CAN BE BOUGHT TO COOK FOR THAT EVENING'S DINNER. THEY SAY WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY GET IT RESOLVED WITH THE MANUFACTURER. HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM??? THEY WERE GREAT WHEN THEY WERE TAKING THE MONEY. NOT SO GREAT WHEN WE DONT WANT A REFRIGERATOR THAT WAS DELIVERED DEFECTIVE. IT IS NOT OUR PROBLEM ABOUT THE MANUFACTURER. THEY SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THE ITEM IMMEDIATELY. I WANT ALL OF THE MONEY BACK AND WILL PURCHASE MY APPLIANCES ELSEWHERE, ESPECIALLY THE REFRIGERATOR. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THEIR REPUTATION BEFORE THIS.........MY MISTAKE. IT SEEMS I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW BADLY THEY HAVE ACTED. We renovated our whole house and bought all our appliances from Appliance World. They talked a good talk about customer service and how they were committed to making sure we were satisfied with our appliances and so forth. But when it turned out that the stove they sold us was defective and leaking gas, they sided with the manufacturer (who said the gas leak must be in our house, not the stove). Only when I got a report from the gas utility company saying that the stove itself had a gas leak and was dangerous did Appliance World finally intervene with the manufacturer. It took a month and almost daily phone calls to get this resolved. The technician who finally fixed the stove said that it had a sizeable gas leak that could have caused health problems for everyone living in the house.
