Fabulous Haircuts and Environment 10/24/2009

I have looked for a great hairstylist for years and years in a lot of cities - found one in Paris and Antoine - he is a total joy. With him - you don't have to try to figure out what you want and what looks good on you - just let him do it - he will always do a fantastic job - every hair cut I get is different and I get compliments all the time. He also matches the style with your personality - I am not conservative - so my haircuts never are. He is one of the very few hair stylists that is a true professional because he takes all the stress of worrying about what to do with your hair by taking complete control and creating magic - but he does it very subtly by listening to you and then making it even better than what you think you wanted. His salon is very peaceful and beautiful and unpretentious - his staff is genuinely friendly - a jewel among the ""other"" places in that city. Pros: Antoine's creativity and precision more

Antoine does great hair! I've had the joy of Antoine making me his client and friend. Everytime I go to get my hair done I leave looking and feeling beautiful! This man is an artist. Everyone in his shop is talented and friendly! I can't imagine going to anyone else to get my hair colored and styled, he always give me what I want and I leave looking better than I dreamed. Great place for Hair 10/22/2009

I've been going to Antoine for over ten years (yes ten whole years) and I still absolutely love what he does with my hair. He has been responsible for all the looks I've tried with my hair (bangs, layers, length) and every time I've receive so many compliments. Antoine is very professional and truly takes pride in his work and in his salon. I don't see myself going anywhere else ever! Thanks Antoine for being such a great stylist and friend. The Best 10/19/2009

I have gone to Antoine for about 5 years now. He is truly an artist with hair and a number of my friends now go to him also after seeing my hair. I am extremely picky about who cuts and colors my hair as it is long and a mistake could take YEARS to rectify. I am never bored with my look and he always manages to make my long hair look stylish. I highly recommend Antoine to anyone. more

Would HIGHLY recommend Antoine. I have been going to Antoine for ten years now and trust no one else with cutting my hair. Antoine is a perfectionist and takes great pride in the quality of his work not to mention he's an all-around good guy. my favorite hair stylist: EVER 7/15/2009

I discovered Antoine several years ago when a friend visiting from out of town stumbled into his salon to have her daughter's hair cut, with highlights. It looked so great, that I had to go myself. I had recently moved to LA and was still searching for a good stylist. I walked into the Manhattan Wave salon on Halloween. Antoine was wearing an afro and some other outfit. I was a bit scared. However, I walked out looking gorgeous. (yes, really). Since then, Antoine and I have been attached at the hip. I was thrilled that he finally opened his own salon in Manhattan Beach where Manhattan Wave used to be. Not only do I always get an incredible haircut and color, but Antoine and his staff always go out ot their way to make me comfortable, by making sure I have something to drink, magazines, coins in the meter for my car...whatever it takes. But most of all, I love that my hair always looks fantastic. I now reside most of the year in SF...but I come back to Antoine whenever I can. You should go too if you live in the South Bay. the only one i TRUST 6/11/2009

i was introduced to antoine about 4+ years ago. he took me from drab to fab. literally. it started out with coloring and highlights. we kept my cut pretty much the same - long w/ layers. then we ventured towards a ""wave"". yes...not a perm but a ""wave"". i think he was worried how it would turn out but in the end, it was FANTASTIC and lasted for quite some time. in fall 2007, i decided to be daring and wanted to get the katie holmes/suri cruise chic bob. we are talking bangs, cutting at least 8-10 inches off of my hair, etc. antoine was cautious at first (i think because he was scared i would not like it) but then when we both agreed to move forward with it (took about 10 minutes of convincing)...it was PHENOMENAL. i never received so many compliments in my entire life about my haircut. i LOVE antoine to death and consider him like family. he has the best heart and truly loves his clientele and business. ANTOINE made me feel like a DIVA!! 5/7/2009

I called the morning before I was leaving for a Vegas girls' weekend. Antoine fit me in during my lunch break and gave me the hottest highlights!! I felt like such a diva!\r \r And weeks later, he happily accomodated my request for darker lowlights for work, and gave me the sexiest cut! I first got my hair cut by Antoine 6 years ago when I got married. He styled my wife's hair and she made an appointment for me. I've been going ever since. Antoine set me up with Landy who gave me a fantastic head massage while washing and conditioning. Landy listened and had suggestions for my cut which turned out beautifully. She also provided me with some thoughts for future coloring that I am considering. more

Since Antoine started cutting my hair, I've received more compliments than ever before. He can work with all hair types (mine is thick, heavy and wavy), and he'll recommend styles that work best for your hair type, your face, and your personal style. He does everything from a simple cut to color and highlights. My advice is to simply listen to his suggestions and let him work his magic. Just sit in the chair and read a magazine. Remember: if it won't look fabulous, honey, he won't do it! Pros: Antoine knows hair, there's no one better Cons: On the expensive side, worth every penny more

My friend has been going to Antoine's for years and I always loved her hair. When I decided to color/cut my hair, she told me I should see Antoine. I loved what he did and have been going to him for about 2 years now. He really does a great job and I am always getting complements on my hair. He'll make your hair look fabulous! :] more
