WONDERFUL Hair Salon in Manhattan Beach 9/1/2008

Antoine had been recommended to me by SEVERAL co-workers. They raved about his quality and how fun he was so I decided to take a chance. Antoine is GREAT. We collaborated on what I wanted to do with my hair (cut and color). It was refreshing that he didn't just pull the ""I'm an artist, let me do my work."" attitude. \r His salon is bright and clean and his staff is very nice and attentive. He uses Aveda products, suggests those he feels would be good to use (i.e. color sensitive shampoo/conditioner) but doesn't push you to buy products that you don't need/want. I walked out of the salon looking and feeling AMAZING and have received a ton of compliments on my cut and color. I am pleased to announce that I have finally found a stylist that I highly recommend, enjoy going to, is reasonably priced and oh yeah - does a heck of a job on my hair! Want a pro with color? Ninfa's your gal!!!!!!! 8/5/2008

I played 'musical chairs' from salon to salon because it seemed no one could get my hair color just right. That is until Ninfa did my color. That was at least 12 years ago and I have followed her from salon to salon... this time for the right reasons. 'Then', I was not gray, but Ninfa does such an outstanding job, even with gray to cover now, that we always laugh ""what gray?"" And, I get tons of compliments on my hair and how young I look. (That's the best part!) High lights, low lights whatever it takes to make my hair look totally natural. She loves her clients and we love her for always making us look our best. Ninfa definitely puts a new twist on 'not getting older but getting better.' My hair has never looked better! :>) more

Finally, a hairstylist that listens to you 8/4/2008

Finally, a stylist I can truly trust with my hair... I have been coloring my hair for years and have been adding the hightlights within the past few years. Like most everyone, once you get home you either change or add something yourself to your cut or color (come on, be honest, we all have done that). Now, that I have found Ninfa (a very long quest) I am finally satisfied to trust her completely with my cut (short and spiky) and my color (red with highlights). I am constantly being asked, 'who does your hair?' For me, Ninfa is the best, she knows what she's doing and she does listen to you. Pros: Great atmosphere, funky neighborhood Cons: Make sure you do have coins for the parking meter. Parking sometimes is hard to find more

Very Impressive! 6/24/2008

I found this hair salon ON Citysearch, decided to give it a try. I was booked the same day I called (with Ragaa). I went in with damaged, badly colored hair that needed major help! Ragaa gave me exactly what I asked for, and also deep conditioned my hair to help restore it to health. (In the past I have found that the hair techs I have used have given me what THEY want, rather than what I want.) I am actually on my way back to my second appointment with Ragaa. I HIGHLY recommend this salon, and in particular Ragaa for color and cut. Additionally, the salon staff kept my meter filled so I didn't get a ticket during my visit! ;) Parking can be a little tricky but it is extremely worth it! Pros: Comfortable environment, felt I received honest feedback Cons: Bring quarters, parking can be a challenge and is all metered! more

I tryed in my life so many difrent hair stylist always something is rwong .I have been with ragaa for 6 month she's really makes me very happy and comfortable everytime she does my hair .so if u want to look great go and see Ragaa she is the best in town.\r \r more

Ninfa's coloring is the best!!! 5/8/2008

Ninfa's been doing my hair over five years now and she's best sylist I've ever gone to!!! The color she uses is amazing and it always looks great!! She looks at my hair every time to see if there needs to be any adjustments and really values my input if I want to change something. I have really curly hair and the way Ninfa cuts it looks great. I Love NINFA! If you're looking for a stylist that makes you feel great by the time you walk out of the salon she is it! Most times you sit down for a partial highlight and a trim, and get little conversation and you're done, but not Ninfa she feels like family after you leave her chair. She loves to hear about your life and always has a positive outlook.\r \r She's been styling hair for over three years now and would highly recommend her for anyone who wants a fantastic look! Antoine's and Ninfa - what a great combination! 4/11/2008

Like everyone else here, I'm Ninfa's devoted follower and friend. She's been cutting my hair for more than 15 years, and has seen me through at least two MAJOR style changes to fit my career and lifestyle. And as a friend, she's seen my two girls grow from their very first trim to red and blue highlights for Halloween. She's the best, and a sweet, down-to-earth person to boot. And now that she's back with Antoine, with his fabulously updated and serene decor, the whole experience is just perfect. more

Ninfa is the best! 3/19/2008

As you can probably tell, there is no other option but Ninfa. I'm a relatively new client and am very very happy with the results. Everywhere I go hairstylists continually cut my hair too short probably just based on the fact that I'm a guy. Even with my first cut with Ninfa she wowed me with the results. A perfect cut! I was so relieved to have finally found the perfect hairstylist. She is the best! more

Ninfa is the best for family haircare! 3/12/2008

Ninfa has cut and colored my hair for 10 years and has always done a great job. She is very professional, genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction and very accomodating and patient. I trust her to take good care of my and my family's hair. She is great with kids and can distract my active boys (both under five years old) and cut their hair record time (15 min. or less). Everyone always loves their haircuts. She is part of our family and is a truly generous and caring person with an optimistic and positive outlook on life. I highly recommend her to anyone without reservation. Pros: Great service, great location, beautiful, new, and clean salon. Staff very professional. more

Welcoming atmosphere and great cuts 3/3/2008

I'm a Ninfa customer for over 10 years. I have curly hair, and she does a beautiful job on it. I've been to MANY hair stylsts previously who just couldn't figure out curly hair. If you've read this far down you know already that Ninfa has her fans. Add me to the list. She's been cutting my (middle-aged male) hair for 15 years. There are Alot of choices around here for hair salons. But she's got the goods and there's no reason to go elsewhere. She does a great job and she's a pleasure to deal with. \r \r I know Im skeptical when I read some of these reviews (is it the mother/cousin/friend of the business owner?), but for what it's worth, I assure you, this is legit. Anyway, give her a try. You won't be sorry. more

NINFA knows curly hair!!!!! 2/29/2008

I have naturally culry hair and it is really difficult to find someone who knows how to cut it. Ninfa is the person I absolutely trust to do my hair. I would not go to anyone else. She has been my hairstylist for about 5 years or so and I will continue to go to her for my haircuts. Curly hair people, she knows our curls. I recommend her anytime for a great cut.\r \r The atmosphere of the salon is awesome as well. more

Ninfa has been cutting my hair for over 16 years. I love what she does! She is a professional who loves cutting hair. She stays up to date on the lastest styles and hair care products by attending professional development seminars and trade shows. She is always happy to see you and is accommodating when I need to change my appointment.\r \r I love the newly remodelled salon. They did a terrific job. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. I?ve been with Ninfa for over 18 years and she has always been there for me. As styles changed over the decades for guys, she has always steered me right with my hair cut. Evan when I asked her to do something against her recommendations she would always do it. However, I soon found out from good friends that she was right again. Being a busy traveling guy, I?ve also found myself in strange cities in need of a trim. I?ve always come back to Ninfa to clean it up and make it right when I got home. For an accomplished stylist she also always makes time for my twin six year old wavy haired boys too. Bottom line is she?s been great to me for years, a really good cut last longer and me and my boys look and feel better longer. Cons: 0 more

NINFA! 2/25/2008

I have been Ninfa's client for more than 6 years, and would not even consider going to anyone else. In fact, I now live over an hour away, but still travel to Ninfa for regular appointments. The salon is lovely - very modern, clean, and soothing. I highly recommend making an appointment with Ninfa - you won't be disappointed! more
