Amazing Hair Stylist!!!! 4/26/2012

What a relaxing salon, great atmosphere and of course the location is a block from the beach. I followed Michelle here from Londer Salon. She consistently gets my color right and looks natural. I walk out feeling like a new person! I have never received soo many complements on my hair until I found Michelle. more

This is a beautiful and relaxing salon in the heart of Manhattan Beach. Michelle Clagg is absolutely the best stylist I've known. I never loved loved my hair until Michelle fixed its color, cut and condition. Countless people now ask me where I have my hair done and I never hesitate to recommend Michelle. more

Michelle Clagg is the best hair stylist in So-Cal 9/20/2011

So I've been to all the best hair dressers in So Cal. Giuseppe Franco in Beverly Hills, Londoner Salon in Manhattan Beach, you name it, but Michelle Clagg is by far the best of any of them.\r \r Most hair stylists won't listen to the client, they will just cut whatever style they choose or think looks good while ignoring the customer's feedback. My experience with Michelle is quite the contrary. She listens to what I want and what type of style I desire, and then cuts my hair accordingly, like she is reading my mind. Of course, if you are not sure of what style you want, she also has the perfect recommendation to suit your face shape.\r \r I highly recommend seeing Michelle Clagg, I've been going to her for 7 years now and will be a client for life! more

Megan McCauley is an artist that loves her work. I rely on Megan’s instinct when I feel the need for a new look. I always leave the shop with a sassy attitude and confidence that I look my best. Thanks Megan, you are worth the 4 hour drive. more

Megan McCauley is a god sent when it comes to hair 1/11/2011

I have been suffering with frizzy hair my whole life. To manage my hair I would have to flat iron it everyday and even after two hours of this tedious process my hair would still end up frizzy by the end of the day. My hair stylist of three years Megan McCauley, told me about the Brazilian blowout and how it could eliminate the frizz from my hair. After she did the Brazilian blowout to my hair, it has never been so easy to maintain. I have always loved the cuts and colors Megan has done with my hair throughout the years and now she has even concurred my unmanageable frizz. She is the best hair stylist I have ever had and I couldn’t imagine what my hair would do without her. more

Ragaa is Amazing! 8/18/2010

I recently had a brazilian blowout done by Ragaa my favorite hair dresser in the world! I love my new straight hair so much, Thank you Ragaa! \r p.s. she is also amazing at everything that involves hair and makeup, I strongly recommend her! more

Amazing!!! 5/4/2010

Best color and cut I've ever had! My hair can be very difficult to color/highlight (tends to turn brassy/orange when I lighten it, no matter how great the stylist is that I have gone to). I was on the lookout for a new stylist and new look. Since he had done such a great job with my mom's hair, I decided to trust him and let him work his magic. Great blond highlights and overall color, great cut/style and also decided to get the brazilian blowout, per his recommendation. I have never received so many compliments on my hair!! On top of it all, Antoine is so wonderfully sweet and clearly loves what he does. Even though it's in the heart of MB, never had a problem with parking and staff is sweet enough to feed your meter when necessary. Highly recommend Antoine...he's the BEST! Pros: Great location, great staff, best hair ever! Cons: Ummmm, none! more

Excellent Haircuts! 4/20/2010

I have had tons of people cut my hair and not once was I really happy with it until I went with Antoine. He really does know what he is doing. Simply go in and let him do his work! He'll help you decide what style is right for you. Everyone there is friendly and the atmosphere is great! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great look! Pros: everything Cons: nothing more

You can't question the authenticity of style 4/7/2010

I've known Antoine for about 2 years now. The way you can tell a master of a craft is the way in which he looks at his subject. When Antoine looks at a head of hair, he sees like an improvisational Jazz player sees a saxophone. There is no temporal dimension to that type of style, and he's pretty nice to be around too. Save Your Money and Your Hair! 3/5/2010

I would not give him a rating except I'm being forced to.\r \r After reading all the rave reviews about Antoine, I was excited to give him a try. During our consultation he told me his great ideas for my hair and I thought great, he knows what I need and what to do. I couldn't have been more wrong. I went for my appointment and as we agreed I would do, told him I had just colored my own hair. Somewhere during the time he was doing my highlights he forgot I told him that I had just done my hair color. He let me process too long and needless to say my very brunette hair had hideous BLONDE STREAKS!!! Thick, bulky blonde streaks. After numerous attempts to tone down the blonde, 3 hours later the color was still bad and I HAD TO PAY FOR IT!!! Ridiculous. Of course I had to have another professional do an all-over color to my hair in order to tone down his mistake. \r \r Do you think I let him cut my hair after that? NO!\r \r Oddly enough, I later recalled that I had tired him out to do my wedding hair and I didn't like him then. Wish I remembered that before I spent $200. Cons: Antoine! more

Antoine is the best!! 2/22/2010

I have been going to see Antoine now for almost four years and I he is amazing!! Not only is he a fantastic stylist and colorist but its fun just to to go sit and chat with him at the salon :-) He and his staff are extremely friendly and personable and my hair always looks fabulous after he works his magic. I highly recommend going to see him for highlights as he is the best colorist in town. Take my advice and make an appointment with Antoine! Pros: Great hair, friendly atmosphere more

Fabulous Creations 12/16/2009

I've been going to Antoine since my high school prom 10 years ago, and ever since I go at least twice a year and I have NEVER EVER been disappointed with his creations! Whether it's highlights in the summer or darkening my locks in the winter- he does an amazing job, and l don't think I have to even talk about when he straightens my hair with the hot iron... Most people think I have a wig on or put in extensions because my hair ends up like silk!!! He is FABULOUS!!!!!! Plus another great thing, I could go in there blindfolded and mouth taped shut and I know I will still walk out of there looking and feeling great!!! Antoine knows what I like and don't like and what will suit me or not! I trust my hair in his fabulous hands and won't let anyone else touch my locks! Pros: Never disappointed more

Antoine takes the utmost pride in his work, he goes out of hs way to make sure you are completely satified with your hair experience.\r Antoine listens to what you want then does magic with his creative ability. \r Antoine does the most amazing highlights - he's the only stylist that's been able give me very light blond highlights on my dark long hair. Antoine is great. 12/9/2009

I met Antoine through my son, who found him on Citysearch based on the terrific reviews. He gave me a new hair color which looks so much better than the red I'd been doing for so many years. I love the cut and I love his attention to the customer. As someone else said, he makes sure there are quarters in the meter, he makes you a wonderful tea and makes everyone feel special and important. I highly recommend him. Antoine is the best!! 11/3/2009

I have been going to Antoine for 9 years now & would never trust anyone else with my hair. His skill with highlights is like magic...I receive compliments daily from people on the street! He is truly an artist using several different colors of blonde & weaving in lowlights, so that even after 2 months, you cannot tell when it has grown out. Not only is he very skilled at his profession, he is so much fun to be around! A genuine heart & great friend, I always look forward to my appointments with him! Even after moving to NYC this year, I will still fly back to Manhattan Beach to get my hair done by Antoine. He is the best!! Pros: best highlights in So Cal, fabulous & fun!! more
