When we first showed Matt are minor indoor plumbing woes, he immediately suspected our house was suffering from excessive water pressure. Matt checked our water pressure and discovered it was about 50 psi too high. The excessive pressure had created the constantly running toilet in our bathroom. And, as Matt explained, the toilet was basically a water bomb biding its time before explosion. (Think how much time, trouble, and money that would have cost to repair.) Matt originally had come to fix our short list of minor problems on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. On Tuesday he managed to have enough time to save us from the big plumbing disaster. I am relieved that Matt caught our problem before it became a huge problem. more

I've had no problems with Anthony's service, but the heating and AC unit itself has had some issues. They had to make maybe 5 or 6 service calls and eventually replaced the unit. In the end though, they came through and supported their product. more

This really is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Their customer service is absolutely the best. I called Anthony on Tuesday and scheduled an appointment on Thursday. I received a call that they could move my appointment earlier if I wanted to which was fine with me. Once arriving, Jerry was so nice and knowledgeable. Chris was awesome. He came into my very hot house and explained everything including the pricing structure. I liked this honest approach. He reviewed the thermostat and inside unit explaining everything he was looking for and why he was doing it. I know very little about the workings of the AC/Furnace unit and he pointed out several things I should know. Then he went outside in the hot humid weather and explained again what he was doing and why. He gave me price options and listened to my concerns. He addressed each and there was no push to pay for any service I didn't want or couldn't afford at the time. He was very thorough, honest, and especially helpful. He even went above and beyond by removing the piece of wood my ex-husband had propped the unit up on because the pad was not level. He looked around the yard and found some stones to use that were a better option until I can have the pad replaced. I am so thrilled with the service I will recommend you to everyone. You truly provide excellent service at a reasonable price. more

Anthony Plumbing Heating & Cooling does our heating and air conditioning. We have used them on and off for probably over 10 years. They have quality people. My wife is home alone during the day, and she is never concerned about them coming over. They are always appropriately dressed, good mannered, and very professional. I had Anthony Plumbing Heating & Cooling come out to check out the A/C and heater when I first bought my house to make sure they were both running right. Recently I had them come out again because the circuit board had gone out on the A/C. The repair man took a look at it and he didn't have the part he needed in the truck. So, he ended up having to go all the way back to the shop off 37th. When he returned he was able to fix it. He explained the work he did and he showed me each part of the A/C unit. I would probably use Anthony every time. more

I recently had Anthony install a new A/C andfurnace. I had the opportunity to work with Steve Burbridge (owner) andjust by getting to know him through the process I learned that customersatisfaction is incredibly important to him all the way from a business standpoint to a personal level and he will go to extreme measures to guarantee yoursatisfied. Chris did the install and he showed up on time, worked hard,was very personable, and most of all did a masterful job. He even cleanedup some of the mess the builders installers left leaving the install joblooking perfect. Before he left he spent over and hour testing thesystems and air flow to make sure it was perfect. I began this project ofgetting a new HVAC system assuming every company did the same quality work butafter seeing what my old system install looked like and then seeing thecompleted install done by Chris I now know that is not correct. Anthonywill tell you there guys are the best at what they do when selling youa system but if you use them they will actually prove that to you which israre in the home improvement trades, trust me, I believe I have found all thepromise and don't deliver contractors in KC. I now firmly believe thatthere is not better insurance or piece of mind you can buy for such a largepurchase for your home then using Anthony for a new HVAC system andmaintenance. I know this sounds like a commercial but that was just myactual experience with Anthony and with an involved owner that cares about hiscustomers. more

I have talked to a couple companies about my issue and felt like one of them was blowing a lot of smoke and making me very uncomfortable. Ed came out and took the time to really look at the problem and explain everything to me and most importantly he was honest with me. He was friendly and courteous and patient with my questions. Needing work on your home is never fun, but so much easier when you are working with someone you know you can trust. I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful I am for your company and the professional advice of Jim Hesler. I called Anthony this morning after receiving a pricey quote from another company for a new air conditioning system. ((At this point the $6,000 - $8,000 job is not an option.)) Jim came out just a few hours later and gave me some of the most incredible news. I do NOT need a new system. My current system - though it is old - if functioning properly. The problem was that the ductwork was disconnected in THREE places in the cellar and all the cold air was being pumped into the cellar!! Almost none of it was being directed into the actual building. Unbelievable. This is news I received AFTER paying another company $200 to tune up my current air conditioner and assess what I needed to do to get this building cooled for the summer. Trust me, I am preparing to have serious words with the previous company. I mentioned this to my father, who is a general contractor and landlord of 26 nice homes. Anthony Plumbing, Heating & Cooling have done what they said they would, and that goes a long way with me. So many people say they'll do this and this and this, but that's not what they necessarily do. Anthony does it. They're not necessarily always the cheapest, but they do what they say. I really had a chance to test them when the motor went out on my air conditioning. I called in and they were out the same day. They got the thing fixed and going again, which is worth a lot to me. They just have excellent service. more

Anthony Plumbing Heating & Cooling did a really good job. Our Air Conditioning went out over memorial day weekend when it was really hot. The technician really went above and beyond. He talked me through a temporary fix, then came out from the warehouse with a part to make sure it would keep working while we waited for the permanent part. They did a really nice job. more
