Not even a month ago, I spent $1,300.00 to have my 2009 Saturn Vue repaired. Tie rod ends replaced, alignment, tires rotated, oil changed, injectors cleaned, etc. The vehicle drove better before I even took it in to this sorry dealership. To make a long story short, I hit a bump on Highway 41 and just about lost control. Steering was very loose and I was getting horrible gas mileage. I took it to Complete Car Care in Libertyville and they discovered that the toe was off 3.2 degrees and the front tires were destroyed. Not only do I have to purchase front tires now, but I paid $88.00 for an alignment which never happened. There should be a law where you can take these crooks to court. They will never, ever see my business again and I will never recommend them to anybody. Service Advisor was Jeff. more

Anthony advertises  VIP service and boy did they deliver.  My husband and I made an appointment with Gary to look at a pre-owned Yukon.  He had it Cleaned with Gas and after our test drive the paperwork was all ready and only took 25 minutes.  We still can?t believe how nice the process was.  This is the way to buy a car. more

Stands behind their GMC Certification 8/5/2010

In December 2009, we purchased a newer, used SUV from Saleslady Jen Brackenbury. Through no fault of Jen's, we had a problem with the vehicle, a very significant problem. Jen absolutely came through for us. Sales Manager Ryan Gonzoles and Tricia from the business office also got involved. They, too, were helpful, working out a very satisfactory resolution for us and we walked away very happy customers. Thank you Jen, Ryan and Tricia. We love our vehicle. Please, folks, give Jen a call. She has awesome people skills and you won't be disappointed. more


Salesman lied about condition of car. 8/22/2009

I went to see a used car, I mentioned the make/model, and despite the car being very obvious in his field of view, he claimed he didnt have it. When we pointed out the car, he goes "oh im sorry my thumb was over that part of the list", when really he was trying to gauge us how badly we wanted the car.When we went to see the car, yes, it looked very clean, but it had a very obvious paint job: there was visible overspray on the rubber seals, and there was paint over the rust spots where no one bothered to sand down the rust away. You could also see the slight color difference on the trunk. When we pointed this out to the salesman, he flat out denied that the car had any sort of paint job and claimed it was original, despite the clear evidence. He was also very adamant that the internet price was non-negotiable, especially since the car was not in excelent condition since the metal fuel line had severe rust and would probably leak soon. I shopped on-line for weeks and decided on a new Acadia. Other dealers told me they had them and when I went they had one or two. At one dealer they didn't even have one I could test drive. Anthony had a bunch and made me agreat deal. They even helped me get a better rate cause my credit isn't the best. I highly recommend them. more

Great service, quick and professional 10/2/2007

I have been servicing my car at Anthony for 2 years now and they never let me down. The people are friendly and polite. My car is ready on-time and they even wash my car for me. Last week I decided it was time for a new truck. I shopped 3 dealers and Anthony wound up beating the best deal by $300. Anthony rocks (and has some cool trucks) more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! 3/30/2006

My 2003 Envoy has been in for service 4 times (49 days) in a 3 month period for the SAME PROBLEM. They recommended a service 90,000 miles ahead of what GM recommends and since then my car sounds like a diesel engine and leaks coolant into the engine (it doesn't leak out to the ground). They want me to keep returning while they continue to "replace parts" and make claims to my extended warranty. At this point I feel my engine has been completely damaged, yet they want to keep playing around. Have contacted GM customer support and they are useless as well. They also want me to return so they can keep milking the warranty. Have sent a letter to a VP of GM, as well as the Better Business Bureau. It's no wonder GM is in the state it's in. I will NEVER buy another car from this dealer, nor take it back there for service and would NOT recommend that anyone else does, either! PROS: NONE! Absolutely none! CONS: Recommend unncessary service. Can't/won't make repairs. Patronizing. more

Better than your usual dealer 11/23/2005

Have purchased 2 cars from Anthony and never a problem. Sales was easy to work with and I did not feel the pressure that often accompanies car negotiating. more
