I went to see a used car, I mentioned the make/model, and despite the car being very obvious in his field of view, he claimed he didnt have it. When we pointed out the car, he goes "oh im sorry my thumb was over that part of the list", when really he was trying to gauge us how badly we wanted the car.When we went to see the car, yes, it looked very clean, but it had a very obvious paint job: there was visible overspray on the rubber seals, and there was paint over the rust spots where no one bothered to sand down the rust away. You could also see the slight color difference on the trunk. When we pointed this out to the salesman, he flat out denied that the car had any sort of paint job and claimed it was original, despite the clear evidence. He was also very adamant that the internet price was non-negotiable, especially since the car was not in excelent condition since the metal fuel line had severe rust and would probably leak soon.
