Waiting for results, but there is certainly a LOT of scabbing!

5 years great experience - eyes, brows, hair growth 11/17/2010

I love Angelbare and have been using their services for years. My first treatment was electrolysis for those prickly hairs on my chin. From there I moved to eyeliner above and below the lash and beneath the eye. Next came the eyebrows, which are now shaped to focus people at and above my eyes rather than at or below with the little bags. We are currently working on Hair Regrowth. I had those “wings” of bald scalp at my temples. After working with Angelbare and Shahla for 9 months, I seldom have any hair in the tub drain and my hairdresser says not only is there more hair, but its got a great texture. I have had excellent results with everything Shahla has done for me. Again, I love Angelbare. more

this place is terrible !!! Shahla the owner is never on time ,unprofessonal,unsanitary, rude and shyco!! please believe me i have an horrible experience with her same as my daughter,she has no idea what she is doing and she makes unforgivable mistakes that she will blame it on you ....hope that helps !!!!!!!! more

Beautiful Brows everyday…. 10/27/2010

I am in my 20’s and after high school I had no eyebrows. I don’t remember what happened; they just continued to thin out. I didn’t feel confident with my eyebrows and it affected everything I did. I don’t think you can understand until you have to paint your face on every morning and then worry about your eyebrows smearing away throughout the day! Everything I did, I had to be aware of my eyebrows. I looked online and I liked Sheila’s before and after pics. And it is so great that she is helping cancer patients locally- they deserve free treatments! \r more

I first have to say that Shahla is a phenomenal permanent makeup artist. I have seen countless clients of hers first hand who have had amazing results.\r My personal experience with Shahla came about after I had another ""artist"" give me permanent eyeliner on my upper lid. I was incredibly dissatisfied with her work and came to Shahla for a correction. In one visit Shahla fixed the error and made my eyeliner look very natural, enhancing my entire face. \r I am so thankful that I met Shahla and would refer her to anyone interested in permanent makeup.\r more

I went to Angelbare on a whim to try ""scar removal."" I am very pleased with the outcome! I had a terrible bright red scar on the tip of my nose that bothered me for years. Within 30 minutes of meeting with the clinician, it was gone! No more ""Rudolf the red nosed reindeer!!"" more

30 mins of serenity 10/25/2010

Though embarassing, I have been losing hair for a little over 3 years now. I tried many different treatments and none of them have worked. I read about Boston Hair Regrow or Angelbare and decided to give it a try. My hair is now thicker, has grown back tremendously and I enjoy my 30 minutes or serenity at angelbare for my treatments. I recommend this to anyone who is suffering as I have in the past. Do not wait. \r more

I recently got my lips and lip liner tattooed and it looks SO good. I do not have to continuously apply lipstick and it looks like I have my ""20 year old"" lips back! I am in my 50's and love the fact that I wear little to no makeup. I have already had my eyeliner done and look forward to having my eyebrows done as they have lightened and thinned over the years. My next appointment is in November and I praise Angelbare for my ease in getting dressed in the morning. I love permanent makeup! more

I am so thankful that I found a place that is near my house and that can help me cut my ""getting ready time"" in half. The woman was so nice to me and acutally cared about how my face was going to look after the treatment was done. I got a little care package with a gift card and some vaseline for ""after care"". I visited her 2 weeks later and we did a little touchup and now my eyebrows and lips look AMAZING!!! I 100% will go back for lasery hair removal and my eyeliner!! \r I couldn't be more pleased. :) more

biggest mistake was waiting!! 9/27/2010

For years I was hesitating to do my eyeliner because I was fearful of the unknown and thought that permanent cosmetics in the eye area would be a big procedure. I went to Angelbare to have the tattooing done to my eyebrows and I cannot begin to tell you how comfortable the procedure was and how experienced the technician was. I chose to get my eyeliner done after my second treatment of the eyebrows and I truly love the way my eyes now look. I look back and laugh at my hesitation; I only regret not getting my eyeliner and eyebrows done sooner!! more

As a Doctor I know the importance of looking well kept and ready to go in the matter of a phone call. I have been receiving permanent cosmetics for several years now, and I have never had to worry about whether or not I would be able to “get up and go” for meetings and/ or emergencies. Various permanent cosmetic treatments help prevent eye infections by eliminating the need to put makeup (eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara) in or around the eyes. The treatments are great for athletes to avoid breakouts from makeup clogging the pores and with permanent makeup, I personally never touch my eyes anymore. Most make up contains mercury in the ingredients and to avoid putting poison all over the face, permanent cosmetics is a fantastic solution. For all of the years that I have been getting permanent cosmetics I have never heard any one complain! more

my eyes speak 9/11/2010

I finally have a face. As woman we speak with our eyes, so to speak. I’m just thrilled with the results of my permanent eyebrows and eyeliner. As a person living with alopecia there are days that I felt I had no face. It’s just not normal to have a face so naked. Since having my permanent makeup applied, I am now looking forward to showing off my face and going swimming with my children at the local gym. I feel my confidence is building each day that I look in the mirror. I’m no longer seeing a blank face looking back. With the help of some very fashionable swim caps, I will blend in instead of sitting on the sidelines watching my children. more

Eyelash extension training- :) 9/9/2010

I am Filipino and just recently relocated to Boston, Ma. I was interested in learning a new skill. I enjoy looking beautiful as well as making my clients look great, with having 10 years of salon experience. I decided that I wanted to learn how to do Eyelash extension treatments. I went to several different places and did not like the way I was spoken to or their teaching method, luckily God guided me to Angelbare.\r I like Angelbare because I felt comfortable with the way Shahla talked to me and explained the process. \r \r Teaching one on one was very beneficial; she has a kind voice, and gave me her full attention all the time. The class was educational as well as informal. She followed up step by step and she organized my class with my work schedule. She even came in on Sunday to help me. She is detail oriented and makes sure you understand the information \r \r I loved my experience.!!! more

Words cannot describe how happy I am with the eyeliner that I had done at Angelbare. I had been thinking about having permanent eyeliner done for about 9 years, so when both my sister and my mom told me how wonderful Shahla was I called right away. She worked with my schedule and came in on Sunday for me because I couldn't make it during her regular hours. At the consultation she really worked with me to create the look I wanted and what best complimented my eyes. She truly did an amazing job. I love the look of the work she did. She is a true artist and it definitely shows in the job she does!! I can't thank her enough!!! If you are considering having permanent makeup done, Angelbare is definitely is the best choice!!! more

New natural look!!! :) 8/26/2010

I struggled with one of my eyebrows not growing all the way to the end. For more than 30 years I was penciling in my eyebrows and never liked the way it looked. My sister in Florida got her eyes and lips done and told me about her treatments when I went to visit her. When I came back to Boston I searched and found Shahla on the internet. I liked her website, and the testimonials from the clients. I called her and scheduled a consultation. I confessed that I was never happy with the way my lips looked faded and shriveled over time from sun exposure and aging. I never had any luck with my makeup either due to not really knowing how to apply it, especially my eyeliner! I decided after taking to Shahla, who believed I could have everything done, to get the full face treatment. It took only about one month to complete everything and I am very happy with the results!! Yesterday my friend’s mother said “You look so good!” repeatedly! I highly recommend anyone to get your full face treatment!! more

Much easier life thanks to shahla! 8/20/2010

I am so happy with my new eyebrow, it looks like natural eyebrow hairs. She called the technique brushstrokes. It doesn't hurt at all and was so quick. I was done in less than an hour. My eyebrows are amazing!!! No one can tell that they are not my own eyebrows! I can go swimming, and not worry about sweating off my eyebrows, and saving a time I spend on getting ready. I had my eyebrows done with Shahla it came out perfect. I even went back and did my eyeliner, it was so easy, and then I did my full lip. Looking in the mirror, I love what I see. I look younger and happier. I love spending my time playing with my grand children, but I was constantly putting my make up on and checking it throw out the day, now I don?t have to do that anymore! I was very nerves first but I am so glad I did it. My friends keep telling me I look so good. I am so thankful for Shahla and I thank her with my whole heart. more

I was given the opportunity to have permanent eyeliner done. I was referred to Shahla at Angelbare and met with her. She understood I was a bit nervous and took the time to talk with me about what I was looking to achieve. She was very understanding and listened to my needs and produced the most amazing looking eyeliner I described to a T! She has a talent in not only her work but her ability to listen to her clients. I always plucked my brows to try and get them even but just ended up making them worse. After years of doing this, the hair just stopped growing. I would spend several hours each day penciling my eyebrows, trying to make them perfect, I would get so frustrated. I would even cancel my plans with friends if I could get them looking the way I wanted. Then a friend told me about Angelbare, I decided to go in for a consultation. She took time to explain the treatment and demonstrated it first with pencil. After seeing her work and the consultation I decided to get it done immediate, it turned out amazing! I can't emphasize enough to go and see Shahla!!! more

I feel beautiful again 8/13/2010

At the age of 25 I was diagnosed with Alopecia. Then I was diagnosed with cancer 18 years ago. After I went through chemotherapy my hair grew back and my alopecia disappeared. Then 2 years later I lost everything, all of my hair everywhere, the chemotherapy was so strong it even affected my organs, and soon after I was diagnosed with diabetes. When I read the article in the newspaper and saw what Shahla could do I called immediately and had my eyebrows done. I love the results , I finally I have some definition on my face. I would recommend this service to anyone. It looks very natural. more
