I have had Alopecia for about 2 years now, it has been a constant struggle to try to look good with makeup, I had to put my face on every morning and hope stays that way . All I can say is, go to her website as I did, and see her work. I had been drawing my eyebrows so big and so dark for years and no one ever said anything to me. When I saw Shahla, I insisted she create the same shape that I use to see myself for years. She explained that the eyebrow I have been penciling it is too big for my face and too dark. She told me that if I wanted to get that done I would have to go somewhere else. She told me I was beautiful and I would make it look better. I offered to pay more if she did it but she refused and showed me the pictures of other stubborn clients who had asked the same as me. I saw a big difference. I could not believe that all this time no one said anything to me! I did what she recommended and it turned out great. I was very happy to find Shahla. I love my eyeliner. She called it lash enhancement and said I only need to have color on my eyelid since I do not where makeup. I have been very lucky since the day I received the telephone number of Shahla Whitmore who has been very kind to me helping me improve some scar issues that I have. Using her skills in scar camouflage she has diminished the visibility of important scars that I have. Which allow me to feel more comfortable with myself and I have more freedom in doing what I want to do with my face. It took me two sessions. I am -48- years old, and started losing my hair when I was in my mid 20’s. I started the hair re-grow treatment two months ago and have started seeing results which that made me feel fantastic. I start using gel on my own, but no change. I start using Propecia for over a year and it was not helpful. The texture of my hair also was beginning to be worse, and then I found out about laser hair treatment. From what I read there were not any concerns. The only concern I had was is it going to work or not for me. I started seeing changes after five months. When I started I was constantly loosing hair, now I do not see as much hair in the sink or shower. That makes me relax and feel comfortable. I got my eyeliner done a couple years ago by someone other than Shahla, and it did NOT turn out like I had imagined. I wanted my eyeliner permanently done so that I didn't have to put it on again... Most of the pigment flaked off, and the only part that stayed, was where she had messed up. After that I was really concerned with finding someone who would be able to fix her mistakes and not make it worse. I researched it and didn't find anyone that I thought I could really trust, until I found Shahla. A family friend had gotten her eyeliner done at Angelbare and it was AMAZING! It looked just like I had imagined mine would the first time. I have seen many people who got permanent make up, but none looked as good as hers. So I met with Shahla and saw some of her before and after pictures of other clients. All of the results were amazing and looked extremely natural, I immediately made my appointment. I got it done in March and have been extremely satisfied. I LOVE IT!! Shahla was awesome! She is a perfectionist, and made sure it was just right. Are you looking for the perfect job, well Shahla is the best! I have had a really low self-esteem and been very self conscious about my eyebrows, always worrying about them rubbing off. I would get so stressed when I would have to draw them on every morning, making sure they were totally perfect. Finally I decided to have them permanently done. I was nervous about the design and shape she would create for me. I decided to walk into her office with them already drawn on so she could get an idea about the look I wanted. It surprised me because Shahla came up with a totally different idea and look. After she had drawn them on with her outline I was so thrilled to see such a new look and I instantly fell in love with it! She did the perfect measures and she would keep checking to make sure that they are straight and lined up. She is a perfectionist which is so important when it comes to getting something permanently done .She made sure that I was totally comfortable and relaxed. After the treatment I immediately begun hearing compliments and what an excellent job she had done, saying how much they love my eyebrows and how natural it looked. It really changed my life! I had permanent cosmetics applied a few years ago and although the consultation led me to believe I would be getting what I wanted, I surely did not! During the actual procedure it felt like the technician had completely lost interest in my feedback and intended on going about things her own way. I went to Shahla to have my eyebrows done to replace my sparse, overplucked ones. I was worried about my eyebrows winding up looking like black stencils, but my fears quickly faded at my consultation. I had absolutely no hair on the outer halves of both eyebrows, she blended together two colors which perfectly complimented my hair color and complexion. To give it a more natural look she created hairline strokes. I have received numerous complements and have referred her to all of my friends! I am not one to usually complain or write bad reviews. I just want to prevent a potential client from having to go through the same bad I experience that I had. I received permanent eyeliner on my upper lid from Anglebare. During the service, she slipped???? and put quite a good sized line on my lower lid. It was no where near my lash line, it stood out, and was quite noticeable. She tried to fix her mistake on two seperate occasions with hardly any change. I have had to conceal it with makeup everyday until I found another artist who has done an amazing job to fix it in only one treatment. The permanent make- up she applies is perfect! You look great afterwards and she really makes you feel calm and comfortable during and after the procedures! Not only is she gifted at what she does, she is a kind, generous and sweet person. She is ""permanent make-up"" at it's best! I saw multiple adds on Craig's List for this company, their website looked legit, so I decided to give them a call. Firstly, when I called I was met with a, ""what?"" Not a, ""thank you for calling Angelbare"", not even ""hello."" Unprofessional. \r \r Secondly, two postings on Craig's List said, 20% off any service, and the other said there was a new technician, and to reference that when calling for an extra discount. Each ad had the salons phone number/website. When I mentioned this to the woman that answered the phone, she had no idea what I was talking about and said I must have called the wrong number. I thanked her, hung up, went back onto Craig's List, rechecked the number, and realized I had called the right one. I called back where the same woman gave me a different, higher pric than she had during the first phone call for the same service.\r \r I don't know, but when I'm getting something tattooed on my face, I want to be fully confident in the technician, and I wouldn't even walk in the door at this place. more
