They have a great selection, good prices on dresses and do a great job with alterations. At the end of the day the dress looked great and fit perfectly and I got a really great price on its so I'm happy and would definitely do it all over again. more

My experience at Ana's started off great, I found my wedding gown there last January and it was ordered an in earlier than they had said. I thought the prices were reasonable and they were offering free alterations at the time of my purchase. I was a little disappointed that I had to call continuously the month prior to my wedding in otder to find out when I should go in for fittings - I'm not sure if someone would have contacted me if I hadn't called. I had 2 fittings and was told I could pick up my dress the day before I was leaving for my destination wedding. I drove down to Ana's (a 1 hr drive) and upon pick-up was told that I would have to pay $50 because the dress was steamed. I explained that I specifically requested the dress NOT be steamed, as I was traveling, and was told that it was steamed because ""it was wrinkly and I didn't have your file on me."" I was still charged $30, on top of paying $20 for a garment bag. They didn't tell me to try on the dress before leaving the store so after getting home, I did so. The top was HUGE and I wasn't entirely sure that any of the second round of alterations had been done. I called the shop and was told, quite noncholantly, to come back in. Mind you, this would be be second trip in a day and it takes an hour each way. I drove back down to which I had to wait about an hour and try on the dress 3 more times until the alterations were suitable. I was apologized to and told ""I should have had you try the dress on."" My bustle broke about 1/2 hr into my reception, after being bustled for about a total of an hour. I wasn't too happy that I had to carry my dress around for the rest of the night (thankfully it was light). I would not recommend Ana's to other brides.... more

I was recently a bridesmaid at my brother's wedding and we got the dresses from Ana's bridal. Purchasing the dresses went fine but the alterations were a nightmare! I'm from PA so was only in RI a couple times to get the alterations. When I first got the dress I wanted to cry because there was a huge bump in the back of the dress where the zipper came up. I went to Ana's and they had me try on the dress and said that I just needed to wear the dress with a bra and the bump would go away. A month later I came back in for another fitting for the hem with the strapless bra on and the problem was no better. They said they had to take it out in the hips and then it would be fine. Well for the final dress fitting not only did they take out the hips but they took in the bust area which did NOT need to be taken in. I am a natural C cup and was spilling out of the dress after those alterations and the damn bump was still there! Not to mentioned that they did the alterations in RED THREAD on a PALE YELLOW dress! The wedding was in two days and I ultimately had to take the dress to one of my mom's friends for some emergency alterations. The second seamstress we used said that Ana's should have taken out the zipper and shortened the waist and that would have solved the problem from the get-go. The Lesson Learned (That I heard several people warn me about): Ana's wants to get your money for the dress and then wash their hands of you. They do not know how to properly alter a dress nor do they give a damn about making sure it fits you right. As long as you paid your money they don't care what happens to you. more

Ana's is a family bridal shop with a great selection of gowns. They cater to each bride individually. They have special deals on alterations for the bride. They also have a large selection of bridesmaid and mother of the bride gowns. more

The staff at the bridal shop were extremely helpful and very accommodating. I was very happy with the service that I received and my future husband saw how happy I was to be working with them that he went there for the tuxes for the whole wedding party. Ana and staff made my wedding day attire a great success with out ANY problems.Thank you Ann for making my day a special one.I miss visiting you for fittings. more

After going across the rhode island area and also mass i stopped at Ana's bridal boutique looking for my dream dress.. it's a family business and they are so nice.. they had such a large selection and everything was so easy to find and organized.. i worked with the owner herself and she helped me find what i was looking for and guess what girls i did.. it was great the 1st dress i tried on was it and Ana gave me the best deal ever.. i got my dress that day and also my bridesmaid dress too. who could think after going to so may shops i could find a place like that.. i recommend Ana's for every girl out there more

I have never had such great service before. I mean I've been to other places before, but I have never received such friendly and personalized help before. Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to leave a good comment, I usually left comments if something has gone wrong and I'm mad about something. But in this case I was so happy with my experience that I felt I should give them my support! I'm from the East Providence area so I will assure you that they did a good job! more

I was just watching the local news and saw the story about Ana's giving free wedding gowns to military brides-to-be. I just wanted to say, ""Thank you."" What a beautiful thing to do!!! I am the wife of a retired military man, and I know what this must mean to many, many women. I know Ana's will make some people very happy. What a great way to say, ""Thank you"" to our military. Thank you, Ana's, for being part of the military bridal gown giveaway, and for supporting our troops!!! more

We went to Ana's and ordered our bridesmaid dress 3 months in advance like Ana suggested. When they came in, they we all so tight they could barely be zipped!Its quite a coincidence that all of the bridesmaids gained so much weight that they couldnt zip their dresses! The dresses could be taken out and hemmed for an add'l $60.00! We left the dresses, came back to get them. Luckily, we insisted on trying them on again because they still couldnt be zipped- they had been hemmed but not let out of the sides, had to wait almost an hour while they fixed it. Told Ana she doesnt know how to measure apparently, she took a tape measure, remeasured my bust and told me I gained 2inches in my chest(I wish- i weigh 113 lbs, don't think i gained any weight!) I really think it is a big scam to make money off the alterations. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! more

There are about 10 people in my wedding party that are getting tuxes and dresses so far there are no phone calls when they say there going to call The tuxes are very late 4 days till the wedding and no tuxes You should not have to worry about a service like this when your planning your wedding !!!!! I will revise my posting as I see fit Hopefully it all works out more

My dress was perfect--- the first one I tried on! I got it from Ana's and it was easy to try on dresses and pick out the best one. My girls got their dresses from Ana's too and they were really nice.? more
