Wow! I have read some of you peoples negative comments. I am grateful for Dr. Parks and his staff, especially the MALE one. And, by the way, HE has a name! He is NOT rude to anyone. How dare you! Have you ever tried to be kind to the staff there? Are you aware that there are a lot of us pet owners out there? Yes, they are busy, and yes they have a lot of clients. In my book, that equals good people taking care of my dogs. I know each and everyone of them by name. Know why? Because I took the time to ask them. They deserve respect. My dogs lives are in their hands. As far as your ""wait"" time, have you ever considered that sometimes emergencies occur? Let me tell you, if I was one client waiting and some dog's life was on the line, I would sit there patiently, and love up on my doggie. I would hope and expect that any of you whiners here would do the same, if it was my dog in trauma. All of the people there have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Let me just give you some examples. I cannot walk due to a bad knee. My dog needed to be brought in for a blood draw. Jessica, a tech met me at a back door, took my Nico in, drew his blood, and brought him right back to me. On that same occasion, the MALE employee brought out my receipt and credit card so I could pay my bill! I cannot continue this without telling everyone ....His name is Manny. He is such a sweet guy, and very knowledgeable about his job! My dog is on a special diet, and I purchase a large bag of dry food for Nico. Guess who carries it to my car at the back of the building? Manny .... On one of the occasions when I had to wait, I NEVER heard Manny be ""rude"" to anyone! The phone seems to ring constantly and Manny is polite to everyone! As far as the staff goes. Are any of you aware that they even have ""volunteers"" who come in and help with the load? Please, people, have a little compassion. They have a stressful job. Could any of you animal lovers work there and possibly be subjected to injured or sick animals being brought in? \r
Someone said that the place is ""dirty"". At this very moment, they are remodeling the clinic. And,,,, I have personally seen the techs clean and spray disinfectant in the exam rooms when a pet leaves. \r
Regarding Dr. Parks .....I am glad he is taking care of my dogs. My German Shepherd, Nico is very sick. Dr. Parks has tried everything and today Nico had a good day. Dr. Parks always calls me back and is very kind and respectful to me. He explains in detail to me what is going on with Nico. And yes, like others have mentioned , he will help when you need help financially, which shows me that he cares. \r
I would ask those who have had bad things to say about Dr. Parks, Manny, Mary, Soara, Jessica, Evelyn, and the rest of the people who work there and the volunteers too to read what I have posted here and look for positive things, instead of the negative. This is So Calif. We have a lot of people who live here. Don't most of us have to wait in traffic, the market, the mall, a doctor appointment? It is what it is and we all have to get along.\r
Thanks for reading.
