If you are thinking about ""going Solar"" (and you should), you should ONLY go with American Vision Solar as your Solar System sales & installer! We shopped around a bit, and AVS had the most knowledgeable staff, absolutely upfront and honest sales team, the best information available, and so many choices for how to do it - and also the best price. The most impressive thing was the quality of the people who work at AVS. Chris is our sales rep - great guy, and we hit it off immediately because he has a conversation with you about what they can offer, instead of a ""sales pitch"". Emerson is our installer and he is brilliant and always available to answer questions. I think I talked his ear off during the inspection on my roof, but I really wanted to get all of my concerns out right away. Vanessa - what a star! Everyone that I have dealt with has been amazing - so helpful and they know all the answers! They also handle all of the paperwork for the LADWP rebate program! So the Brass Tax - does it work? YES - wow... we've been ""live"" for two weeks and the system is producing more than we thought it would. And this is no accident - its because of AVS knowledge of how to build the best Solar System. Coolest thing is that I can monitor my Solar production online - anywhere - and run reports, daily, monthly, and there are graphs that show your production. You can really really ""geek"" out on this technology while you are saving thousands of dollars. So... call American Vision Solar - they are the best company to go with! more

My wife and I interviewed three different companies. Two of the companies where recommended by friends, American Vision being one. This was not a easy chose, as all three presented well. We picked American Vision based on 3 things, pricing, quality of product, and time to complete the install. The order time ended up being less than quoted by 3 weeks, very nice. The crew showed up on time and did a great job. We had 4 windows replaced, a slider replaced, and 2 windows converted to sliders. They had to cut out the walls and move electrical for the 2 sliders. They also installed new porch lights for all sliders. The crew finished in the early afternoon (quote stated could take up to 2 days), everything cleaned up and spent time with us on what they did and to review the use of the new windows, and sliders. They even made sure the automatic lighting was working correct. We had to do NO CLEANUP after they left. Just move our furniture back that we moved out of the way. My wife and I are very happy with our new windows and sliders. We have already noticed the difference in the noise reduction. I would highly recommend American Vision, but please do your own shopping and research. That way you know you did your part in the selection and will have the same satisfaction that I have when all completed.\r \r Warning on city permits. American Vision stated we should not need to pull a permit. But did warn if someone complained to the city that could change. Guess what? I have a POS neighbor that complained to the city and had to spend $450 for a permit. American Vision took care of getting the permit for us and charged us for the $450 only. Five days later it took the inspector all of 2 minutes to inspect and left with the comment that everything looks great (SERIOUS). So check with your city for the need of a permit and what the expense is, just in case.\r more

When two of my windows were broken during a burglary, Armen, Project Manager, came to my home that night and helped me clean up the broken glass and inspected the frames. Jason, Senior Service Manager, appeared the next morning, measuring and ordering my new windows. Within a few days, Ryan, the Installer, replaced my windows and left the yard and home without debris. My experience with American Vision Windows from beginning to end was excellent!! Non-pressure sales, knowledgeable, professional, very friendly and good pricing. Financing was applied for and approved on-site, in a matter of minutes. We had all the windows and sliding glass door replaced. The installation crew did a fantastic job. They were fast, clean, courteous and very professional. The windows and door look beautiful!! Since the installation, we have had varying weather so we have had an opportunity to see the huge difference these windows make in both cold and hot weather. We've had a 12 panel/14kw system installed over a year ago. The entire process - initial consult, permitting, installation, rebate application, financing, was very easy and smooth. We've had absolutely no issues with the system and highly recommend American Vision Solar. Before committing to American Vision Solar, we received bids from four other companies. What ultimately sold us was the experience of the technicians, the type of panels they use (Sun Power, most efficient on the market), and their competitive bid price. more

We recently contracted with American Vision Windows to replace all my windows and doors, including a new addition. I opted for the Anlin Windows in the Queen Anne design with all the window features. We had American Vision Windows install our windows this passed year and all we can say is WOW! We searched long and hard for a reputable company to do this.. We live in a house that was built in 1968 and it had all the original windows and sliders. Plus we had these pillars that divided up our front windows that faced the street upstairs and downstairs and decided to open it up to one large window. We were worried about how this would happen and they kept telling us ""don't worry, we have done many of this type of installation before and it will look great."" We trusted them and yes, it looks fantastic. Not only that, but we had some stucco work done in the front of these windows and we were amazed at how well they matched the stucco color. Gabrielle did a fantastic stucco job! Thank you! The other issue we had was a very large 16' slider/window. Well they don't make a 16' slider in the brand we got (Anlin) so thanks to the handy work of our installer John Solorzano and crew, he came up with a solution to use a 12' slider and a 4' solid window and handcrafted this very cool pillar and dressed it up and it looks perfect ...like it was meant to be this way...so that turned out great too ...thankn you John! We have had heat, cold, wind, rain and not one problem with our Anlin windows! Every time we have called American Vision with any questions they have been more than patient and courteous. We would highly recommend American Vision Windows to anyone looking to upgrade the windows in their house. Especially a house that has old original windows like ours did. Don A. responded to my query about American Vision Windows. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful in determining how to best spend my limited dollars. I had contacted other companies, but they didn't seem to want to work with me, regarding windows to do and the order to do them. Don was able to work out a plan that let me get the class of windows wanted, at a price I could afford. I can truthfully say that I am glad that I had my beautiful new Anlin windows installed by AVW. I wasn't able to afford the replacement cost for the french doors that open onto the patio, at the same time as the windows. When I have those funds available, I will definitely contact Don, to get the work done, because I know I'll be happy with that work as well. more

I needed to replace the old wood and aluminum framed windows in our home. I contacted American Vision Windows in Simi Valley, CA and worked with Don A. He explained throughly what the alternatives were, with examples of the various products available. I had a tight budget, but we were able to replace all the windows with the Anlin class and they are beautiful. When sufficient funds are available, I will replace the sliding door onto our pation and change to the French door style. I will contact Don, of AVW, when I have the funds, because I know the job will be done on schedule and be done right. more

I desperately needed new windows and was originally going to use the Home Depot cheapy ones but figured I would at least see what it would cost and what the difference in quality was. The sales guy took a heat lamp and placed it on one side of the glass of a typical Home Depot window and then on the Analin window....wow...the Home Depot window was blazing hot and on the Analin window I couldn't feel a thing. The cost was only slightly higher for double pane with gas in the middle and they installed them in a few hours and left NO MESS. The quiet factor was a huge unexpected surprise..my house was so quiet and peaceful with the new windows. I didn't even realize that noise from outside was coming through the closed windows. Anyway...use these guys. A+++ all around! more
