Professional and responsive support! 10/13/2018

American Mechanical and our technician Chris provided outstanding support for improvements to a 22KW generator installation that was done by an electrical contractor who didn't have the necessary mechanical expertise. Generator was restored to working condition promptly during recent storm that created widespread power outages in Virginia Beach. more

Water Main replacement 9/28/2018

I just had my water main replaced by Rich P. He was one of most professional technicians I've ever dealt with. He was very thorough and fast. He was also very knowledgeable about his trade. You can immediately tell his high skill level once he starts working. I would request him for any future work on my house. more

A tenant with no hot water is no fun 9/26/2018

A new tank less hot water heater was installed in no time. One guy did all the work from start to finish and I have a happy tenant. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Great job! more

Very nice , knowledgably young man. Manny went above and beyond . Our ac died and he made sure it was in working order on the hottest day this year. We have always done business with American Mechanical and one of the reasons is a service tech like Manny. He is a keeper and we are so grateful to him . PLEASE give him a raise !!! more

Amazing Service! 6/22/2018

First off, I am a working mom, with a deployed husband, who was scheduled to go out of town in just a couple days. So naturally my furnace decides to spring a leak and drench the carpet one floor below it at the most inopportune time possible. American Mechanical was so great in getting me in touch with one of their HVAC specialists right away! Manuel S. showed up the same night, and immediately knew what the issue was. Within a half hour he found the problem, replaced the necessary part, and gave some very sound advice for the future. If you ever have an HVAC problem I highly suggest going to HVAC first. They have wonderful customer service and are 100% transparent and upfront when it comes to cost. You can't go wrong with this company! more

Shelbi has a terrific telephone voice and demeanor. Much more important than that, she handles an inquiry promptly and follows through to make sure the customer has what they want. She followed up by asking for an email response, and called as well, when she found another open proposal for work at my property. Excellent customer service, and obviously well-trained. more
