Contractual agreements were significantly different than reality --- assigned cleaning day (Monday changed to Tuesdays), appointment time" window" (8 am to noon changed to 8 am to 2 pm) number of cleaners (3 changed to 2) and cleaning time requirements (3 hours changed to 2 hours). To maintain the service deemed "achievable" in the original contract it appears fees will increase or number of cleaning tasks reduced! Although the cleaning staff was friendly and diligent in their efforts, it wasn't enough to offset the numerous failed contractual promises!
RESPONSE FROM American Housekeeping of Utah:
Mary - I am sorry to hear that your experience failed to exceed or even meet your expectations. It is important to me to take a minute to address your concern. We make every effort to accommodate your scheduling needs and can almost always find a spot on a particular day of the week. It is true that our teams are made of 2 or 3 maids depending on their schedule for the day. However, the number of maids does not change your price nor the quality of the finished product. The 2-maid team will take longer to complete the job for which we schedule additional time. 3 maid teams are often necessary if they have many jobs in one neighborhood on the same day, however 2-maid teams are the most typical. This is one of many reasons that we do not charge by the hour, rather a flat price bid is provided prior to service.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and will be sure that our pricing and scheduling model is thoroughly understood and communicated by our estimator(s).
For 25 years we have worked to establish a loyal client base and have done so by having fair, clear, and honest business practices and we pride ourselves in continued progress at perfecting each client experience. Thank you for your business and please let us know if we can have a chance to clarify our service and earn your business once again.
