American Flooring LLC

I have known and worked with the people at American Flooring for quite a while now and they always provide me with great customer service. I am a commercial painter so I have worked with them on numerous occasions with other homeowners to get their flooring done. They have also done the flooring for my bathroom and most recently they came by to get some measurements to put flooring in my living area. They always do great work and I have never witnessed any issues that have come up after their installs. I will continue to work with them and am looking forward to the flooring install! more

I have used American Flooring LLC many times and they are always great. This latest job is going well so far, we had some scheduling issues but as soon as we get carpet installed it will be ever better. We've had their services in the past and I mean, I basically walk in, I tell them what I want, he says here and shows me what I asked for, then I say how much and okay and he gets it all taken care of. I can probably call them on the phone by this point. I feel very comfortable doing business with them and we rely on them. more

I have had excellent experiences with American Flooring. I have used them 2 times and both times they went out of their way to accommodate for my needs. I worked with Doug and he was just great. The first time, he went out of his way to order carpet for me at a great price. It was exactly what I wanted and I was very pleased. The second time, he went out of his way to order some tiles in advance so that our builders could start working on the floor before our whole order arrived. There have never been any problems and I would definitely recommend them. more

I worked with American Flooring for the first time and they did a great job. I had them install new carpet in my master bedroom, living room, and two spare bedrooms. The gentleman who came out and did the install was fantastic very kind, knowledgeable, and worked hard. Doug is the owner of American Flooring in Lansing. Doug allowed us to take a several hard wood floor samples home to match our existing floor. Even though Doug's prices were not the lowest in the area, we enjoyed his Christian attitude. So, we decided to order our flooring from him. Out of the 8 boxes of hard wood we ordered from Somerset Hardwood Flooring, we could use 7 because there was so much dirt in the finish we could not use the flooring. Doug was great to work with and we got a credit for the un-use able box of flooring. I would highly recommend Doug Daigle Flooring store. We would like to thank Adam and his employees for the outstanding job on our kitchen and Dining room floors. The Hickory wood floor is beautiful and Doug's staff did a great job. We purchased new flooring from American Flooring. They are close by and well situated in relation to us, which was very convenient. Their staff were very accommodating about samples; they made us feel easy and welcome to pick up samples, return them, etc. The ordering process was very easy and the whole thing was dealt with in a professional and prompt manner. We decided to the installation ourselves, and their staff was also very helpful post-purchase. Their customer service was great and the employees were available to answer all our questions. more

I have already recommended American Flooring! I had found them through my contractor since they have a good working relationship with each other. The workers were very friendly and they made it very easy to help choose the right flooring for me. I mostly worked through my contractor, but everything went very smoothly! We used American Flooring twice over the last year and a half. Their shop is between my house and my son's school so I drive by it a lot, which is how I knew about them. They put in basically all my floors and my main floor downstairs, one was vinyl and ceramic, and the other was carpet. We bought from them first initially because they have high quality product and they're local, but we had some challenges with that first job. My wife and I didn't quite agree to go back to them the second time, but this time we really didn't have any challenges and it was smooth sailing, so they kind of redeemed themselves. We're thrilled with the work they did. I think I called Doug on a Monday, December 19th, and he had somebody out getting measurements within that week before Christmas. He had the carpet ordered and installed by January 5th, so I wouldn't have expected the work to be any quicker. I thought the pricing was appropriate, not the cheapest but I didn't want the cheapest. And they negotiated with me, either by working in a few features or price breaks here and there, so I felt like they wanted my business. Overall the experience has redeemed our opinion of the company. more

I purchased padding through American Flooring LLC and gave them the precise measurements needed. However, it wasn't enough padding and now I will have to reorder it again. That means renting a trailer again as well. I will not be choosing them a second time and do not recommend them at all. more

We bought some tile from American Flooring LLC. We also had them install new carpeting throughout the entire house. We are very happy with the work they did and we would use them again. We would also recommend them to other people. more

We have a friend who's an installer. They recommended we go to American Flooring. We ordered carpet and laminate, and when they came in, we saw it was the wrong carpet. Very cheap carpet. So we had to go back and they offered eight-hundred dollars to return it, which wasn't much, considering how much we initially paid for the carpet we wanted. And this cheap carpet they gave us would've lasted five years, that's what they told us. The one we wanted was supposed to last twenty years. We had to go ahead and move in and we had to wait for the new carpet. Once we finally got the right carpet in, it was good. Overall, it wasn't a great experience. more

I just feel like the people over at American Flooring were very professional. They were great in helping us out with getting new carpeting. They helped us get some really great carpet, and their installation was perfect. I am very happy with both how the carpet turned out and how much it cost. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for new carpeting. They are very nice and good people. more

I love my carpet ,Doug. I had a great experience working with Doug. Our old carpet was at least 25 years old and Doug helped me pick out the perfect carpet. The grandkids came to visit and they fell to the floor and said " Nana this carpet is so comfy cozy." The guys that installed the carpet were wonderful. They moved the big furniture and tore up the old carpet. I'm a satisfied customer . Thank you! more
