Eric at A&P did a great job at listening to our needs, and then working with us to deliver our new range at a convenient time. Delivery was painless and the guys did a great job and even found an adapter that we unknowingly needed. more

We were purchasing appliances for our new home, we needed a gas range, dishwasher, washer and dryer. We stopped in at Allen and Petersen on 3 different occasions. All three times we were treated very poorly by the sales associates. Buying quality items is important to me but I also shop price. My husband and I do quite well financially so buying these appliances was not an issue. I felt as though the sales associates turned their nose up at me because I was inquiring about cost and sale items. Their attitude was very snotty, when I asked about the current rebate for Bosch, I was told it was only for the higher end appliances, I asked if she would show me which appliances were included in the rebate. The sales associate pointed to her left and said "they are over there" turned around and walked off. I just walked out of the store, I can spend my money elsewhere! I purchased my refrigerator about 10 months ago from this store and the sales associate was very helpful and did a great job. That's why I went back. After the last 3 times of stopping in looking for appliances, I won't be back. The shopping experience was absolutely perfect and the salesman was great. Store is in a convenient location and prices are good. They were even able to schedule delivery that Saturday. Delivery guys were right on time. They were very fast efficient, they tested everything to make sure it worked properly. They got my old machine out and new machine in without marking the walls etc.. The only issue I had was the delivery guys seemed irritated about having to take off their shoes during delivery. Please give your delivery guys cloth booties so they don't have to be annoyed by customers request to remove their shoes. I truly believe if they were equipped with cloth booties this would not have been a problem. Thank you. more

I can not express myself enough how much I appreciate that Kyle Mirka, Sales Manager Anchorage store, took the time to listen to my concerns and act on exchanging my dishwasher. He thoroughly explained the mechanical differences between brands. I am thilled with my Miele! How wonderful to have sparkling clean dishes without a complicated soap combination, running the water before starting, HAVING to use the Heavy cycle, meticulous loading and still not having clean dishes. more

Bought three kitchen appliances at big sale. We're told they were ready for pickup anytime. Living in Seward, we had to arrange for transport. When we finally had someone pick them up four weeks later at warehouse, only two if three were supposedly there. The pickup was made of the two, but when we checked items after they arrived in Seward, both pieces were not what we purchased. I went into store a couple days later and found out they would have to order at least one of the two wrong items and the refer was back ordered into mid June. This we were never informed about. We have kitchen remodel scheduled too start in June and will most likely be held up by what should have been the easiest, and most fun part, of the process...new appliances. I went in to the Wasilla Allen and Peterson looking for a wok. The service was great, all my questions were answered and the staff pretended not to notice my two year old daughter being a pain in the rear. I bought a wok that I love and I know it will be around for many many years. more

Although it was nice to see some new cooking classes, it was also disappointing to see others that I have not yet taken discontinued. The knife skills course did not disappoint however, and I was able to learn some new ways of dicing, mincing, chopping, and cutting matchsticks. I also acquired some great new recipes to add to my collection including spring rolls. Thank you for a great class! more
