All Tails 'r' Waggin' Pataskala

All Tails R Waggin was recommended to me through the rescue group ""Cause for Paws"". I wanted to get our newly adopted dog, Bubbles trained. I called and got a ton of information and they were so helpful and understanding since this was all new to me. A few days later we stopped by (without having to make an appointment or call ahead) to put Bubbles in doggy daycare for a few hours while we did some errands and again the staff was highly professional and informative without being snobby or ""know-it-alls"". (They are located right outside of New Albany. Not far at all!!! I get on 161 from Sunbury rd and I'm only on 161 for about 3 miles, then they are right off the exit.) They have 3 huge windows to watch and see the dogs playing in doggy daycare. The dogs were all having so much fun! I could watch them play all day long. I didn't even realize the staff members in the doggy daycare play area knew which dog was mine (b/c the staff member that took Bubbles back there was out front and the staff member in the daycare was back there when we got there)but my son started laughing so hard while I was finishing up at the desk and told me I had to come over and see. When I got to the window, the staff member was holding Bubbles (37lb dog) up and had her waving good-bye to us!!! It was so sweet! They make me feel like our dog is the only dog there and I swear all the staff knew Bubbles by name by the 2nd time we were there! One time we were there a staff member brought out puppies for my kids to play with (did I mention they do dog adoptions and take in dogs who need rescued?!?) and they were thrilled!! Buddy, one of the owners and trainers, did an evaluation on Bubbles when I had her there for doggy daycare and we decided to sign her up for 10 days of training. It was the best thing we've ever done for any of our dogs! We got daily text pics (they do that for doggy daycare also) and she came home so calm. We learned what she was taught and its been so helpful! I can't say enough about having a trainer take the time to not only teach your dog how to behave and loose bad manners but to really care and be genuinely invested in how well she does. Since the training, we work with her and she knows what we want from her. Things are much better with her and when she goes back to doggy daycare the staff knows she has been through the training and continues to work with her when they see her. The facility is not only beautiful it feels like a home. I left Bubbles at another doggy daycare facility and I had trouble walking to my car without her b/c it did't feel comfortable, fun or loving. Thankfully I didn't leave her there long and we found All Tails R Waggin the very next day!!! They have been a great resource for all my dog related questions and we are so happy they are here for us to take care of Bubbles!! Oh man, I didn't even mention the kennels they have for the dogs in boarding- so much space,tvs, windows, beds, patios!! Or how safe the facility is and that the owners live on the property!! All Tails R Waggin is the best boarding facility that we have ever been to. The customer service that we receive from their very attentive staff makes us feel at ease when we leave our dog there. In addition, our dog loves going to this facility and is always excited when we drop him off. Lastly, we usually take them up on their offer for our dog to go into their doggie daycamp for just $8.00 per day in addition to their low cost boarding fees. We will definitely be back soon! more

This is simply the best boarding facility that we have ever been to. Our dog likes to take advantage of the discounted doggie daycare while he is being boarded. Looking forward to coming here again. more

We absolutely love All Tails R Waggin'. Our English Bulldog Hoss gets the best care and attention while we are out of town! It is close to the Columbus area, and they have just recently updated their facility! Great place to take your beloved pet! more

I have 3 dogs that I have taken to All Tails for several years. They absolutely love it and the staff knows them all by name and takes awesome care of them!! Since the new doggy daycare opened, I have been taking them there several times a week while I work and they come home exhausted and happy. I would never board my dogs anywhere else! All Tails is like their home away from home! more

We have two medium sized dogs, both rescues, and wanted to get them socialized so they were fine being around other dogs. All Tails Doggy Daycare was great for this! While Linus and Simba were both a little nervous when they first went in, by the time that we picked them up several hours later they were both romping with the other dogs in daycare without hesitation. We definitely plan on bringing them back on occasion to play with their new friends. You can definitely tell that their staff care about the animals as we got several pictures of our dogs playing throughout their time in daycare. The next time we board they will definitely be visiting daycare too. more

I have been using All Tails r Waggin for 4 years now. I found their facility through a referral from a friend that has been boarding her dogs for over 10 years from there. With every interaction from this place I have had nothing but professionalism and support. I am one of those overbearing “crazy” animal ladies that hates to leave my animals with anyone other than myself but I have found every staff member there to be trusting. I currently have three dogs. Doodles was an adoption from All Tails actually. They matched him perfectly with my dog Izzy that I was trying to find a mate for. I had also adopted an elderly senior from them with multiple medical problems and during her remaining life on this earth they continued to call to ask about Lady and gave extra care when I did have to kennel her. They even have a vet tech that gave lady her subcutaneous fluids (kidney failure) every day while I went out of town. I have also had my furbabies bathed and nails trimmed from the grooming department. They superceded my expectations for any type of care they have given my animals. I have used them more times than I can count and will continue to use them until all my babies are not longer in this world. more

I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Our dog is excited to be there from the time we pull into the parking lot. The staff is friendly and kind and always willing to help us. Policies are in place and a standard of care has been established to ensure the safety and health of animals in their care. Having had a bad experience with another boarding facility in the past, we feel assured with the care being given to our dog at all times. more

We’ve been taking our 5 dogs to All Tails R Waggin for four years and couldn’t be more thrilled with the care and attention they give our furkids. I am an overprotective mom and four years ago the staff took me through the facility and were very patient with all my questions. Today, I don’t know what I would do without them. I don’t worry for a second and the pups go in and come out smiling! I’ve been greeted by the same smiling faces through the years; a testament to the fact that everyone is happy and loves what they do. I adore their big hearts and all of the rescue work they do. They are like family, a family I recommend to all my friends. more

Last January I adopted my 5 yr old Brussels Griffon who had been rescued from a life of hell.. a PUPPY MILL!! She is the best dog I've ever owned, she appreciates everyday she lives and roams freely in my home... I can't say enough about this place, they are a business who rescues dogs out of pocket and from the worst conditions possible, the puppymills. Giving the poorest dogs, a new chance a life.. I want to THANK AllTails for giving the gift of life to my dog... and giving me the joy of having her in my life!! more

I feel very confident in knowing that my dogs will be very well taken care of when I leave them at All Tails R Waggin! They go above and beyond my dogs needs. Their staff is very professional, knowledgable and very friendly/outgoing. I reall y love the atmosphere when you walk in and I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile. The size of their runs are outstanding and you can't beat their price!! They have the largest kennels for the lowest price!! I have been beyond pleased with every visit my dogs have had their and they LOVE going their for their doogy vacation! I came on here to give a review myself, but after reading the two ""bad"" reviews below...I just really feel like I need to stick up for Renee the owner, and the staff!! I have been going to them almost since they opened. I have seen them expand, and evolve- constantly making things better for the animals and the customers. The owner is always working and will do anything to help a customer and especially the animals!! She is always taking in rescues, runs all over ohio saving ""puppy mill"" dogs, and I know she does this out of her own pocket!!\r My latest baby is also a rescue from them, so I can also comment on the ridiculous adoption comments- they are VERY fair, and do adoptions the way they should be. I actually had applied for a different puppy, but she was adopted, so I picked another, and am lucky, cause she is the best dog in the world:) It's just a bummer that that person can write such a ridiculous review and try to tarnish their great repuation. It is just pathetic. The owner does not deserve that at all- She is such a great person!! She has personally given me her cellphone number, to reach her at all hours when my daughter was pregnant and we weren't sure when she'd go into labor and also when my father was very ill, and we knew we may have to leave town at a moments notice. She lives on site, and is very involved with her business. This is what I love...I don't want to go to a place that sells dog food, and is corporate owned- and decided to board dogs for an extra buck. I want to go somewhere where I KNOW FOR SURE, they LOVE animals, and they actually give back by doing rescue. TRUST ME- THESE PEOPLE ARE AS HONEST AS THEY GET- and the best safest, most caring place you will ever find!! more

I wish we would have read the review from Google on 3/25/11, it would have saved us the heartbreak! My parents recently fell in love with and applied for a kitten at this shelter. They are experienced cat owners and were over-qualified to adopt the kitten. However, 5 days after they applied they were told the kitten was adopted out to someone else simply because the second applicant wanted to buy this kitten as well as another kitten. All my parents were told is that they could make the hour-long drive back out to Pataskala to pick out another kitten. These people treat animals like they are commodities, but my parents had found a new family member. I also suspect their application was never processed, as I was listed as a reference and never contacted. It is not worth it to go here, I just hope these reviews save other people from going through this. more

We housed our two pets in the deluxe home with extra exercise breaks for ten days at All Tails R Waggin'. We also paid the extra for grooming. What a huge mistake.\r \r First of all, when we picked up our dogs, the girl who brought them out to us said, ""Your dog just tried to bite me, but when he realized I was taking him out to go home, he calmed down."" Oh really?\r \r A dog we've had for 6 years, since he was a puppy, who has NEVER even nipped at anybody let alone bit anybody, including our small hands-on kids, just out of nowhere tried to bite you?\r \r Oh, and then we he psychically realized you were taking him home, he just calmed right down. Cause our dog, who never bit anyone before, can read human's minds.\r \r Now, why would she lie? She was obviously lying, but why? Oh, it must have been to distract us from the ""grooming"" our dogs had gotten. Oh my, look at that, his damn foot is bloody from where they clipped his nails - right down into the flesh. Oh yeah, these are experts alright.\r \r I could go on and on about this, about our dogs being traumatized for two weeks after we brought them home, how they had both lost weight, and how the workers at this place were obviously full of bs, but there's no reason to.\r \r Because if you take your animals here, they will not be taken care of by professionals. And you'll learn that lesson - along with your poor animals - they hard way.\r \r And P.S. I'd have paid double the price to have my dogs taken care of properly. more

All Tails R Waggin ii full of great animal loving people. My Ruby, 11 yr old Beagle has been going here her all life. THey treat Ruby like she is her dog, I kinda get jealous when I take her in she doesn't look back! She just follows them in to the kennel. My family had a very trying year last year. The staff went above and beyond the duties of a kennel. They are caring, loving adn very good at what they do! Nikki was our sheltie and she went there too. Shelties are timid but she liked going to the kennel, the staff made her feel comfortable. So We have been using All Tails R waggin' for about 16 years. I highhly reccommend this Kennel! You will not be disappointed more

Leaving your furry ""kids"" when going out of town is always a gamble, but All Tails is a sure bet for your boarding needs. They have always been able to accommodate my 2 dogs, even during busy holiday seasons. We even adopted our dog Milo from them, a process they made easy (but not TOO easy since they care about where their dogs end up). If I had to name a downside, I guess limited office hours would be it. But it's never been a problem, and we'll continue using All Tails R Waggin for our boarding needs! more
