The Alexis' Suitcase location I have had experience with is the one on Peachtree Road. I have never purchased anything but have only taken items in to be consigned. The manager is wonderful, however, the other staff members do not seem to know what is going on, and in my humble opinion, have been snotty, impatient and rude to me. Maybe they are overwhelmed, and possibly need a larger store to show its items. more

One of the best consignment Stores. 10/6/2010

I have been going to Alexis' Suitcase for a little over a month. They have the best customer service. Every time I walk in, I am greeted at the door with a smile. They are very helpful and reliable. Everything in the store is neatly organized, so it is very easy to find what you are looking for. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and name brand they carry in their store. I would recommend anyone shop to shop at this consignment store. more

A perfect place to ... shop and keep shopping 7/9/2010

I saw the coverage that Fox 5 did and went in a couple of days later. Love the atmosphere and also all of the help I get everytime I am there. Their staff is amazing, the layout for clothes is easy to follow.. and getting signed up for their newsletter was a godsend! Perfect! Pros: Awesome and friendly customer service Cons: None more

One of a Kind Designer Fashion Store 6/17/2009

Unique boutique with latest trends for bargain prices. If you like Saks and Neimans, you will like this shop. These items are mostly new, many with tags still on them. I have been a customer for four years - both as a shopper and a consignor. The owner is amazing and authenticates all designer items so you never have to worry. I enjoy nothing better than a treasure hunt and I have found one in Alexis Suitcase. First of all, the staff are so friendly and professional. Always available to assist you. Second, the quality of the clothing is fantastic. You can find just about ANY designer out there. They have a couture section for clothing as well as couture handbags. Plus, you can't beat they're prices. Third and final, I've been consigning with them for years. Not once has there been any problems. These ladies are professionals and handle their business. I saw advertisements for this shop and finally stopped in. SO glad I did. The merchandise is amazing and the prices are fantastic! way too expensive for used clothes and rude service 5/12/2009

Way too expensive for a used consignment store. Buyers be aware of they seeling fake louis vuitton bags and other fake name brands as if they are authentic.I went to their Sandy Spring location, the service was horrible and rude. I went to their new duluth location, surprisingly, this PhD student (I forgot her name) works there was very friendly and polite and she helped me with everything. I bought one item because of her service. However, I will not go back these two stores because their price is like retail but everythign is used and dirty. Pros: nothing at all Cons: should be shut down more

Definitely worth a visit - I had the best shopping trip ever at this shop! 11/26/2008

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! I happened to be driving down Roswell Rd from work today and saw this shop. They were having a huge tag sale, where everything was marked down. It is so clean and well organzined, it's like a normal boutique. But the prices are much better! I really like Bebe but hate spending $80 on a trendy top. Most Bebe tops were about $19.99 plus 10% to 30% off depending on the tag color. Very cool! I ended up with Chip & Pepper jeans, a Bebe sweater, a Frye handbag, and Marc Jacobs shoes. I also saw some Trina Turk and Tory Burch (2 other designers I love) but the items didn't fit. Anyway, I was beyond thrilled! Definitely worth a stop, this is a place I will visit again! Pros: Very well organized, nice selection, GREAT prices!!! Cons: They close at 7pm, not 9pm like the mall. more

I admit it.. I'm a consignment store junkie.. I look for them every town I vist and everywhere I travel. And I gotta tell ya, Alexis' Suitcase is the best one in the country! She accepts only the best merchandise, and the prices (and sales) are great! She's always gotta a special going (sign up for the email list) and fun activities in the store, like Spa Night! FUN! I refuse to visit Atlanta without a trip to this shop.. check it out! You won't be disappointed! Pros: No old or vintage stuff here.. only current HOT fashion! Cons: none more

Every time I shop at Alexis' suitcase, I'm greeted by name and shown merchandise that not only fits me... it fits my taste. Jayna- the owner- is energetic and positive. The clothes that she accepts are obviously well cared for and of high quality. I feel like I'm buying something brand new. Now that she's expanded into housewares, I can look around my living room and every corner has something from Alexis' Suitcase. I've recently started accepting clients for interior decorating projects and my patrons have graciously accepted the MASSIVE markup for the steeply discounted and high quality accessories purchased with Jayna. After many many hours in this store, I honestly cannot imagine a better inventory/service/shopping experience. more

Awesome boutique 3/20/2008

I decided to try the consignment boutique thing again and check out this one. I've been to a few consignment places that were dissapointing (most not in Atlanta). Alexis Suitcase has great up to the minute fashions. None of that granny stuff that I've seen other places like cheesy Xmas sweaters and spandex. This boutique had brands like Ann Taylor, Tahara, Coach, and J.Crew. I got a great clutch and a killer suit and all for a really cheap price. I can't wait to go back with all my clothes to consign. Cool Shoping - Great People 3/10/2008

I have been going to Alexis' Suitcase for about two years. I always loved it, but it just keeps improving. It is twice the size and very selective in what they take. I can find work and play clothes as well as making money on my own clothes. I consider what I make to be gravy and use to it buy more clothes at what is now my favorite shop. The prices are good. The customer service is excellent. Now that the shop is larger, the owner is not always there, and she is a dream. She is cute, energetic, helpful, and down to earth. I can't stand to shop at the mall anymore. I'm spoiled! more

Gorgeous brand-name clothes (Coach, Seven jeans, Free People) and good prices, plus easy consignment policy. 3/3/2008

I saw this shop on Citysearch when I was looking for a place to sell my nicer used clothes. I brought them in and the owner looked through them in a few minutes. I filled out a form and was done. A few weeks later I called and found out I'd made $75 already! I went by the store and used the credit to buy a pair of Seven Jeans for $30 and a Marc Jacobs top for $35 plus splurged on a Coach wallet for $45. I liked it that I didn't need an appointment to drop off my clothes and could spend/pick up the money I'd made anytime. Most consignment stores require appointments way in advance and can be hard to get money once you earn it. The shop is really cute, organized by color, and super clean. It felt like mall shopping, not like a thrift store. I will definitely be back when I need a new clothes fix...the prices are good and the clothes are current styles, so it's a good alternative to paying retail, which I can't always afford. Definitely a must visit! Pros: Good selection, fair pricing, nice salespeople, cute shop dog! Cons: Close at 7pm - it was hard for me to make it there after work with enough time to see everything! more

Unprofessional, horrible customer service, stay away - it's not worth your time! 3/2/2008

If I could select "0" stars I would have. I dropped off 32 pairs of Chico's pants most of which were new, had the original tag attached and were purchased last year , I also spent hours ironging them before I took them to the store. I specifically asked the sales girl (this was a Sunday so the owner or manager was not there) if she was going to accept everything I brought in. She said yes. The next day I received a voicemail from the owner or manager who said that she was only taking 1/3 of my items. The following Sunday I went to pick up my clothes. I was given ALL of my clothing back WRiNKLED, in a pile, stuffed into a styrofoam container! It was disgraceful. They want us to drop off clothes freshly laundered and they returned my clothes in a pile. I would NOT recommend consigning or purchasing anything at this store. There is no customer service and they are certainly not professional in returning my clothes in a condition that they do not accept. WARNING! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. Pros: None whatsoever. Cons: Gave me back all my new clothes TOSSED & WRINKLED in someone else's styrofoam container. HORRIBLE customer service. Don't waste your time. more

  • What is Alexis' Suitcase, anyway? Alexis' Suitcase began with the idea that a consignment store should be more like a boutique. Clean store, friendly and helpful staff, and current styles in good condition. Jayna Thompson, the owner, had shopped at way too many consignment stores with her mother that only had outdated styles, rude salespeople, and let's be honest...that smell! She thought there was a need for good gently-used clothes for fashionable people at good prices. And it turns out, there was!

    Since Alexis' Suitcase was founded in a 1300 square foot store in Sandy Springs in 2005, it has quickly grown to 3 locations in Atlanta and over 8,000 square of retail space. Our mission has always been to offer good brands at better prices, and we've found that our customers are into it too!
