I shopped and consigned at 2 at the Alexis stores. Overall my experience was ok. Not the best customer service, but was ok. Had 2 not so good experiences in the past with the John's Creek one where they gave my items that I consigned to another client and they sold one item online and had to call them after 1+ months of waiting to get credit. Recently I went to the one in Buckhead to pick up my 2 items and they only gave me 1 because they said 1 item(Charriol ring with diamonds) sold after my contract expired. Even though I called the week before letting them know that I will be coming the following week to pick them up. The manager said that they cant make an exception for me and questioned everything I was saying and offensively doubted my integrity with several issues that I addressed. Long story short I spoke with the owner who was nice while talking to her, however no result. After spending almost 2 hours in the store with this issue, the manager finally came out after chatting and laughing with other employees for over an hour and said she wont give me my money because they did an exception with the pair of shoes that I mentioned earlier they did not credit me on time. They marked the sale date the day they credit me and of course was after the contract expired. So i had to pay for their mistakes twice! All I was asking for was store credit because I was willing to buy a pair of shoes. So they would've made much more money from me than the $150 they were giving me as store credit. Called the owner back and she refused to pick up my calls. Emailed her as well and no response. Very disappointed for the experience and they definitely lost a good client as I spent thousands in their stores and consigned many items. I will make sure nobody I know will ever shop there as well. We live in a world where customer service is key to success. Apparently Alexis Suitcase does not know that.
