I hired this business to perform termite tent fumigation at my home. The sales representative informed me that independent access to my dwelling in the form of keys was required by law. I was told that my being present during access intervals would not suffice. I agreed to the arrangement with the caveat that I would be contacted prior to their personnel entering my home, so that I could witness what transpired. The sales representative stated it would not be a problem and he would notify the exterminator/supervisor that was handling the job of the stipulation.
On the date of tenting; I observed two of the crew urinate in my yard. Later the exterminator arrived and stated he was not aware of my contact agreement, but advised he would accommodate my guidelines. Furthermore, the supervisor stated he would contact me personally the following day, one hour prior to his arrival. Oddly, the exterminator stated he did not have a cellular number where he could be reached, nor did he have a time window for the following day. The supervisor disbursed gas via a hose, but did not secure the front door. Yet, lied to me stating he did. To do so would have required the use of contained breathing apparatus, an inconvenience and extra effort. I repeated the importance of my being notified four times to this individual.
The following morning, day of tent removal and venting, I had not heard from anyone. I telephoned the company, but the calls would not go through. I arrived at my home to find the tent had been removed and access had been made without my presence. Later this date, I contacted the business and asked to speak to the owner. The person who answered the call stated neither of the owners were in. When I asked for her name she refused and hung up.
Contact was made with a supervisor and I informed him of all that had transpired, and that I expected the owner(s) to address the situation. To no avail.
It is clear that this company could care less about customer service. Its' business model is high volume and short cuts. Not wanting customers to witness their actions, likely outside of state protocol.
