We recently had our house tented by Al-Flex. We choose them since they offered the best price, and their salesman was very responsive. We had lots of questions, including possible damage to the roof. The contract says that they will not be responsible, unless the damage is caused by their negligence. The salesman told us not to worry, since they have the most experienced people in the region, and they are very careful. Naturally, we figured there could be some cracked tiles, but it turned out that there were two places on the roof where it appeared that something heavy was dropped. They came and inspected, and said that it was just from their people walking. We questioned this, since if that was the case, there should have been other areas with the same damage. They said refused to take responsibility, and said that this type of damage is part of having a roof tented. This was very different than what their salesman told us. Bottom line - you may save a little money upfront with Al-Flex, but don't be surprised if you have hundreds of dollars of extra roof repairs if you use them! Next time - we'll use Terminix.
