Agee's Service Co

I was steam-cleaning my husbands office late last night when I discovered that the air-conditioning system was no longer working. Without air-conditioning, mold could develop in the wet atmosphere in the office, but I realized that this was the busiest season for air-conditioning repairs and the chances of a quick repair were not good. I called and left a message, thinking I would probably be called back the next day. Within 5 minutes, Jeff called me back! I was amazed at the response. And even more amazed when Jeff actually apologized for not being able to answer when I called! Thats service! (He told me he had been talking to another customer and couldnt answer immediately.) We made arrangements for a technician to come to the office the next morning. The next morning Willy arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, gave me a fair estimate of the cost, fixed the problem and checked over the entire system. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgable, very professional, neat, and helpful. He gave me suggestions on what we could do to improve the efficiency of the system and extend the life of the condenser without using a hard sell pressure. I am extremely pleased with the entire experience! more

I have used the company Agee's for about 5 years. They are always friendly, reliable, and consistant. Today was the spring check-up. The technician, Ricardo, checked the drain to make sure it was clear (we went outside to make sure it dripped with no blockage). He brought in the shop vac to clean the area inside the closet around the heater/AC unit. He recommended a needed new part, explained why it was needed, it was on the truck and he was able to install it without another service call. more

I am not a name dropper or talk bad about businesses but feel I should pass along my experience with this local AC company called Agees. My AC heating and cooling went out yesterday so we called Ageess to repair it since they originally installed in July 2006. They told me my evaporator coil was only covered under manufactured warranty until Jun 2011 and that I was not covered for labor. I was given an estimate today of $ 1135.00 to replace coil and refill Freon. My husband and I thought it was very odd that we did not have or purchase extended warranty on such a big purchase (original cost was $7K+). Obviously the sales person did not explain labor warranty or coverage because its not like us. After they left and I told them Id call them after I shopped around, I pulled out my purchase packet from 2006 (thank God I keep those things) and noticed on 3 invoices it list I have a 10 year warranty on ALL parts AND labor! This comes with what I purchased, not an extended plan. I was almost out $1135.00 if it was not for me doing research. They would of gladly taken my money at the worst time ever. Christmas! To make this long story a little shorter because Ill leave out the phone conversation my husband had with them, where he strongly expressed his disbelief of how a reputable and big company could make such and error. They said they would honor our 10 yr warranty, as if they were doing us a favor! They did not offer to do anything else extra for us for such a tremendous error. I wonder how many other people's money they took because of the same error. After they replace my Coil and do the work properly, I will be making a report at the better business bureau and any where else my fellow co-workers and friends can recommend I take this. I get asked at least twice a month if I know of a good AC company or a plumber, and you better believe this is one company I will not recommend! MY Christmas is saved!!....no thanks to Agees! Once we checked our hard copies of your records and found that we did include a 10 year parts and labor warranty with your new system, we replaced the evaporator coil with no costs to you. In our attempt to ensure that we do not make this mistake ever again, we have tasked our sales manager with reviewing all sales records to verify that our computer records are accurate. more

Excellent... very professional. Very considerate of my home & pets. Great guys that were fast, effecient, a great team. They went above and beyond - I would rate them a 10+ (beyond excellent). They were challenged with a nasty job and took it in stride and made it fun! more

I have been very happy with Agees AC Service Co. ever since they installed my AC/heating unit in 2004. It was a complete turn-key job and they cleaned up so well afterward, vacuuming and everything, that you would not even have known they were here. They really know what they are doing and they are very courteous. Agees AC Service is a very customer-oriented business and they really take care of you. They are locally- and family-owned, and they have good people working for them. They call to set up appointments and are good about confirming the appointment before they come, to make sure you are home. They check my unit twice a year, in the summer and the winter, and their expertise always impresses me. I have not had any problems but I know that if I did, they would take care of them. Agees installed my unit in our new home and they continue to provide yearly service to keep it running effectively. The yearly checkup was extremely thorough. The techs are very professional and the people that answer the phone at the office are extremely friendly and helpful. more
