I was refferred to Dr. Liau by one of my best friends who has been a loyal patient to Dr. Liau's office for more than 5 years. After searching what seemed like forever for a doctor that understood what I needed, it was a relief and such a pleasure to meet someone as knowledgable and caring as Dr. Liau. She spent the entire 15 minutes of our consultation to discuss not only my back problems but my entire medical history- including the stresses in my life! Come to find out she is a mental health counselor as well! She is a jack of all trades! After the consultation her medical assistant, who was just as sweet as pie, brought me into one of their serene treatment rooms. I was just lost in the moment as soon as I entered the room. I fell asleep as soon as I layed down, I DIDNT EVEN HEAR DR LIAU OR HER ASSISTANT COME IN TO BEGIN TREATMENT! Dr. Liau briefly explained the treatment before she began and when she started, I COULDN'T EVEN FEEL THE NEEDLES!! She honored the entire 60 minute treatment, unlike other doctors. After I exited the room, her assistant graciously walked me to Dr. Liau's office and Dr. Liau was very caring and concerned about how the treatment felt for me. I also was prescribed some amazing tea and some herbal medicine to supplement the acupuncture treatments! I have never met a physician that takes so much time and cares so much about their patients! I will definitely be a returning patient and if you are even considering going to anyone else- DONT! Dr. Liau and her staff are just AMAZING! I went to acupuncture doctor for the first time last week and fall asleep during my treatment, all to my amazement of course. I am usually a needle phobic but since Dr. Liau was very patient with me and explain to me of the procedures she was about to do which made me feel very comfortable under her care. The office was very calm and serene a great place for a lunch break or for after work relaxation in a medical setting. I was treated for my lower back pain and fibromyalgia and I found the cost for treatment was a lot less than massage and the result was amazing. Thanks Dr. Liau I am more

I am a 39 year old office manager who has suffered terribly from migraines most of my life. I had been treated by Dr. Liau for years for various other conditions like back injuries, stress and the flu with amazing results. So the other day when a particularly bad migraine hit me while at work, I was so disoriented and confused from the pain I felt almost as though I were having a stroke. I couldn't understand what was going on around me and was very frightened. I went to see Dr. Liau. Before I knew it the treatment was over, and I felt like my old self again! I was so happy I almost cried! She gave me an herbal medicine to take to prevent getting more headaches, and so far I am doing great! Arrived for my first appointment, filled out copious paperwork which was mostly focused on malpractice policies and arbitration details. Receptionist Insisted on payment before service was renedered. Left me sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes. When I finally got into the doctor's office, the first topic of discussion was payment. They do not take checks, something that is not on their website and which Dr. Liau didn't tell me when I talked to her personally to set up the appointment. I was sent away after all this with nothing. After stealing 40 minutes of my life, Dr. Liau gave me nothing in return. Instead of making me feel better, I left feeling a whole lot worse. Perhaps Dr. Liau is a fine practitioner, but my experience today speaks volumes to me about what her true values are. P.S. The amount of the check was only $80 and it was good. I am a 32 year old mother of one, work part-time and go to school full time. I have been a regular patient of Dr. Liau's for about a year now and have always been very happy with my treatments. Last week I came down with a nasty cold with body ache all over my back, fever, sore throat, and sinus congestion which I thought I would have to miss work and just suffer for a week which I normally do. But to my surprise, Dr. Liau said she could treat me for that. Amazingly! After my first treatment, immediately my body ache and sinus was 80% gone and fever 100% gone the next day. I am thrilled to have such a competent and skilled doctor. Dr. Liau’s treatment protocol is amazing which I think is faster than taking antibiotics from a traditional doctor. I suffer from relapsing and remitting Mulitiple Sclerosis which is the worst kind of MS to have. I have been treated for severe head pressure which I was suffering daily basis as well as body tremors. I also had trouble with weakness and non-coordination in my arms and fingers, numbness and cramping in my legs, and absolutely no energy. \r \r After receiving several acupuncture treatments, my head pressure is almost non-exsistent and my body tremors have gone away completely. After receiving an MRI, I found out that all of the infection in my brain is gone. I am a police officer and sometimes have to be at the shooting range all day and I no longer feel any fatigue in my fingers at the end of the day. I have more energy than I know what to do with. I am an executive for a large investment firm and my experience with Dr. Liau and her staff has been extremely positive and a blessing to me and my wife. Dr. Liau always available to answer our questions and always returns her patients’ calls promptly within 24 hours which is rare nowadays. I like the fact that I can just call ahead of time for my herbal pick up and the herbals are always ready before I arrived there. This saves me a lot of time since I am always on the go. My wife especially like the free teas she gets from the staff while waiting for me during the treatment. Overall, the quality of service I got from Dr. Liau is definitely far more than the price I pay for when compared to other acupuncturists in the area. I have received acupuncture treatment from various doctors over the course of many years and I find that Dr. Liau is a very skilled acupuncturist. She has an enthusiastic and comforting approach that I found to be holistic. She is very concerned about the welfare of her patients. She works very hard to ensure that you are involved in the plan and execution of your own wellness plan. She is excellent and knows the body inside out. I know I am borrowing the phrase from GEICO, but it is true once you hear my story. My name is Teresa and I am an insurance adjustor who travels a lot for work with my husband, who also is an insurance adjustor and we have been seeing Dr. Liau for many years mainly for our neck and shoulder pain due to excessive driving. Since our insurance with United Health does not cover acupuncture treatment that is administered by an acupuncturist and only with a medical doctor, we have decided to see an acupuncturist like Dr. Liau who specialized in pinch nerve problems instead of a medical doctor. \r \r We were surprised to find out that the cost for treatment at Dr. Liau’s office actually gear towards our budget and we get 60-min treatment each time instead of 10 minutes when visit a medical doctor or a chiropractor. At Dr. Liau’s office, they have out-of-pocket rate specifically designed for couples and the entire family where the more you go the more you SAVE and get better at the same time. The bottom line is this: DR. I came in for left knee pain, and right ankle pain, which both underwent surgery. Right ankle was swollen, and very painful. Left knee was extremely painful and sometimes unbearable. I could hardly walk up stairs, or stand for long period of times.\r \r After acupuncture treatment I saw an awesome change in the way I felt. I was walking upstairs, standing, sitting down. It really helped me accomplish normal everyday things. I could actually sleep better, without the pain keeping me up. My job was much easier although I have to be on my feet all day. My ankle had dropped down drastically from being really swollen to almost being completely normal. Hi, my name is maggie ,44 years old and professional/competitive Line Dancer. I was treated for bursitis of the hips. I was diagnosed with that from two different orthopedic doctors who gave me a prescription for pain pills and therapy. That's it. I did some research for a better solution. That's when someone in my office recommended Dr. Liau. \r \r My life before treatment was pretty miserable. I say that because I am a competitive line dancer. I dance three times a week and although I did not have pain while dancing, I certainly did the next day. I had a hard time walking normally. I had pain in both hips especially when I walked and got up from a sitting or lying down positions.
