My first experience with Action Air was in 2003. I had just moved here, I was freshly divorced with two small children and it was a hot day in June, around 103 degrees and my AC unit broke. I was truly a damsel in distress! I have no idea how I found them, but thankfully I did! I called and spoke to Jody. Jody, first of all, has the sweetest most melodic voice you've ever heard. I think that the people a company has answering phones and talking with customers is a good sign of how the company will be. It's in the way they answer the phone, the tone of their voice right away represents the company, are they there to help the customer or not? That first phone call is so important and Jody immediately put me at ease.
Somebody was able to come out within an hour and my AC was fixed very quickly. He left his sticker on the unit and ever since then, I've called them when I need help.
Recently, I had another episode with the AC unit, where the motor just died. I called, and Jody remembered me from the times before. She was able to send someone out quickly. I couldn't be there, but my kids were, who are now grown. Steven was the technician who came out, he called them before he arrived and then he called me when he was done to go over what the issue was and the cost which was very reasonable.
Overall, my experiences with Action Air have been beyond great! They are responsive, helpful, handy and knowledgeable. I love the fact that they have great follow-up and will let you know they're available for any call-backs or questions. I'm never going to call anyone else!
