I have used Above & Beyond Door Systems on several jobs. They are fast, they are efficient, and they keep their word. They do the job you hire them to do, with no hassle. They show up on time or early, and the quality of the work is very good. They are good people--you should have faith in them. more

I found out about Above & Beyond Door Systems through the Yellow Pages and chose them becuse their ad was nice. They came to service my garage door but they took forever to do it. The worker seemed to find a lot of things. The door wouldn't come down properly, but maybe he was being very thorough. That was what was kind of frustrating. There was a burnt out bulb in the overhead and I'm sure he could have seen that when the other lights were on. Don't get me wrong, the guy at Above & Beyond Door Systems did a beautiful job. He was just a little neglectful for that thing. Be sure to check around and do a decent evaluation before you make a decision. We did that too and chose Above & Beyond Door Systems, but we were happy with that. RESPONSE FROM Above & Beyond Door Systems: We do not stock light bulbs on the truck because of all the steel parts that tend to bounce during transit. If a light bulb is burnt out, we ask if you have another bulb, so we can replace it for you. I apologize if my service technician neglected to do this. We are very thorough when we service a garage door, if a garage door has not been serviced in a few years, there are many moving parts to evaluate. Your particular problem was that the electronic sensors were out of alignment. The ultimate goal is that you will not need us for a few more years. This was not my first call to Above & Beyond Doors. They had been recommended to me by another resident in the condominium complex where I live when I wanted my garage door to be inspected, lubricated and adjusted if it was necessary. Therefore, when my newspaper carrier backed into the door and dented it, I had to have the door replaced. Bill came out, wrote an estimate and when I called to ask, Dave faxed it to the insurance company. While waiting for the check to arrive, Above & Beyond ordered the door so that when I had the settlement in hand, the door would be ready to install. Bill and Tim arrived on time (in fact, a few minutes early) and went to work installing new rails as well as the door. I also added to the list a new Genie opener, including remotes and a keypad. Their products, doors and openers, sell themselves. I recommend Above & Beyond for their service. The installers are congenial without being overly familiar and focused on doing the job right the first time. Bill and Tim were no-nonsense workers. They didn't dawdle! A couple hours after arriving, they'd cleaned up any mess they'd made and then showed me how to operate the door manually and with the keypad and remote. I will always call Above & Beyond first if I have a problem. And I recommend Above & Beyond to anyone looking for a conscientious, customer-friendly company to inspect, maintain or install an overhead garage door and/or opener. more
