I found out about Above & Beyond Door Systems through the Yellow Pages and chose them becuse their ad was nice. They came to service my garage door but they took forever to do it. The worker seemed to find a lot of things. The door wouldn't come down properly, but maybe he was being very thorough. That was what was kind of frustrating. There was a burnt out bulb in the overhead and I'm sure he could have seen that when the other lights were on.
Don't get me wrong, the guy at Above & Beyond Door Systems did a beautiful job. He was just a little neglectful for that thing. Be sure to check around and do a decent evaluation before you make a decision. We did that too and chose Above & Beyond Door Systems, but we were happy with that.
RESPONSE FROM Above & Beyond Door Systems:
We do not stock light bulbs on the truck because of all the steel parts that tend to bounce during transit. If a light bulb is burnt out, we ask if you have another bulb, so we can replace it for you. I apologize if my service technician neglected to do this. We are very thorough when we service a garage door, if a garage door has not been serviced in a few years, there are many moving parts to evaluate. Your particular problem was that the electronic sensors were out of alignment. The ultimate goal is that you will not need us for a few more years. Our service call is a flat rate of $78.00 and we never charge more, even if the call goes over a hour. Thank you for your 5 star review on Will Recommend, referrals are everything to me.
