Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center re-carpeted our entire house some time ago and they did a great job. The whole thing was expensive but you know. it was handy to use them because they are in Napa so it was local and convenient. The staff is great and they let you take samples and try stuff out. There is nothing more to the experience than what I said, they just did a good job. more

We went to Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center to get some new flooring in our new home and we couldn't be happier with the service. They showed up when they were supposed to and the work came out great. They had good customer service, good product selection and we were happy with everything they did. more

I ordered new linoleum floors and had them lay it down in rental I own in California. I had some delays one getting everything together on my end and Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center stayed with me the whole way. They showed up when they were supposed to and got the work done. Abbey Carpets installed carpet on our stairs and one of our rooms and they did a very nice job. I had fun picking out our new carpets because they have a nice selection. I went in and they were more than helpful. I was tiling bathrooms and also wanted wood floors for the entire upstairs. They gave me samples and I brought them back and explained that I chose the wrong tile, it was ceramic instead of porcelain and they were wonderful about it. I also had fabulous installers. Dan the tile man did a fabulous job on tile in the bathroom. The guys they sent out for the wood floor were very good also. Two guys started early, and they had to move books off of bookshelves and they piled them up in the exact order they were supposed to be in and put them back perfectly. Abbey Carpets was fantastic to work with. more

We got flooring through Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center and the reason for the poor review is they forgot to order the materials initially so it took extra time for them to get it in and took extra time to get the job done. The person hired to do the job didn't put them in properly and it buckled, instead of fixing the problem they said that it was our fault and it happened because we spilled water on it. I have used them a few times in the past and have never had an issue, and I honestly think it was the guy they hired to put the flooring that caused the problem. more

The Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center's salesperson and the fellows that did the installation were very professional, timely and did a really good job. They installed laminate flooring throughout my home and also cleaned up after themselves. Abbey Carpets' price was excellent, and I am going to use them again for carpeting because of my previous experience. more

I'm very happy. They helped me find exactly what I wanted. I was actually looking for a leopard print carpet for my stairs. They did not have any on the floor, so the saleslady went up to the back, and she found the perfect sample. They let me take it home, and ordered it in time. The installer was great. One tiny disappointment was that one guy came out to measure, and then when the installer came out, he said he couldn't install it after all because it wasn't leveled. I wished there was better communication or that some conversations had taken place. I was slightly disappointed that I had to wait for the installation because this happened twice. However, once the carpet was installed, it was a fabulous job. I didn't have to call them to come back to fix anything. I have had work from other companies, and believe me, some of the work still is not perfect. Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center rates top-notch compared to the other work I have had done. They were on time, courteous, and professional. They were great. I would highly recommend them. more

This was my first time using Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center. Last time I had the whole house done with wall to wall carpeting it was years ago. The installer was polite, friendly and on time. I really do like the carpet. The only thing I noticed different is that the guy who installed the carpet before did a better job. The fella that came out and did all the measurements told me that he thought there was something that should be done around the tile around the fireplace, and the person who laid out the carpet said it shouldn't be done that way. I don't know which way was right. The installer did it by himself and it took a lot of time. The previous installer I'd had years ago not only got the carpet all laid but he vacuumed it and was fussy about what he brought to vacuum with. This guy didn't do quite as nice a job. The movers were the ones who vacuumed. more

The staff at Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center is amazing. They are very responsive and have always taken care of you. They are very knowledgeable about the products and are really good with color scheme and their thoughts on how things could look. We have done four or five houses with Janice and she always has great thoughts and suggestions on what to go with. I would tell people to ask questions and let them help you. more

I have been using them for over 25 years and they are my go to outfit in Napa. I had to use thme for primarly for carpeting but also for vinyl flooring and for the purchase of tile and high grade ceramic materials for both residents and a number of rental properties I own. They have always been incredibly accommodating, they have done measurements and helped me make proper decision and the installations have been wonderful. I have never had a problem that wasn't resolved in over 25 years of working with them. They are a fair provider of goods and services for many years. more

I turned to Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center to put in new floors in my mobile home and they were AWESOME. I had to have my bed taken out of my home before the installation and the bed frame wasn't even on wheels. They took it apart, moved everything for me, and then put the bed back together once the job was done - they really went above and beyond for me in every sense. While they were pulling out my carpets, they noticed that the people who built my mobile home didn't install the floorboards properly, so they fixed and painted those for me and then installed the flooring. The end results were amazing. My new floors looks fabulous and it's a major improvement for my home and my life. The installers and sales people at Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center are stellar, I can't recommend them enough. They're 20x better than Home Depot and their prices can't be beat, I'm really glad I went with them. more

I was very happy with Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center initially, their sales staff was great and answered all questions. As it turned out that product is not very good in manufactured homes, which is what I have. It's a floating vinyl floor and the planks move and I end up with gaps in heavily traveled areas. I wish they would have told me this, because they knew I had a manufactured home. They contracted out their installation and I was not happy with the guy running the show. There was paint left on the floor it took them a day longer than they anticipated, the supervisor would show up unannounced and he actually stood me up the first time he was supposed to come by. Then I couldn't get a installation date from him, finally I had to call Abbey and they had him call me but then he said he had to come the next morning, which I couldn't do because I had just moved in and had boxes everywhere. He basically said take it or leave it. He told me they wouldn't charge me to move the boxes, even though I told him there would be a lot. It took them a whole extra day, he came back to me a few days later and wanted to charge extra 4 to 500 dollars because of the boxes. I thought we negotiated this and he wasn't really having it, basically I ended up having to pay him just to get him to leave. I went back to Abbey and I said I think I need support from them but they said they were sorry and you have deal with the contractor to get money back. The installers were very nice it just took them too long, they were rushing toward the end and the lead guy I didn't care for very much, he was a bit rude. In the end I paid more than I felt I should have and the product I got isn't correct for my home, so I am not sure what to do from here on out, the floor is still separating where it isn't supposed to. more

There are nice people over at Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center, and they are a pleasure to work with, so I keep going back. I buy things from them for other people I work for. I've done business with them for about 15 years and they are reliable. They deliver the product on time and I don't start without them. When they say it will be here on a Tuesday or a Thursday--boom it's here. Whoever is there is a good person to talk with. When I go into the carpet department, they all know their stuff. It doesn't matter who I talk to--they are all at the top of game, and they'll know what you are talking about and offer samples. All the girls in the tile department do their homework. And, their prices are pretty competitive. I've felt a friendship over years and it's like home. It's a pleasure to do business with them. more

Abbey Carpets came in and the general contractor named Dan put in a hardwood floor into the entire house and linoleum in all the bathroom and they all did an awesome job. We have been in this house for 50 some odd years and previously we had wall to wall carpeting, which was also provided by Abbey. The person that laid the floor was amazing, the person in charge was amazing and Leslie at the office was amazing. I have nothing bad to say about anyone in the company they are fantastic. more

Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center essentially redid the hardwood flooring in my whole house. They pulled existing carpet and hardwood floors throughout the house and replaced it with all one kind of wood. It was my first time using them and I was very pleased with the outcome of the work. more

Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center did beautiful work and we were very happy with the outcome. We put in a wood laminate flooring in a new home we purchased to replace old carpet that was in the home. The scheduling went perfectly, we wanted to get it done before the movers had come and everything went according to plan with no hangup. I was unsure what to do when we first bought the house, I contacted several flooring contractors and they didn't have as wide a variety as Abbey. Going to the showroom was a very pleasant experience as well, we were able to see lots of different samples and it made it easier to figure out what we wanted. more

I've recommended Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center many times. They are punctual, and their customer service is excellent at the counter also. They are professional. I also feel as if I get a personal service because they are so friendly and make an effort to get to know you. I feel they really listen. I've worked with the carpet and the tile installers for 10 to 15 years. Also, the man who comes out to take measurements is professional and punctual. I feel safe with them coming into my home. They are local for us and that's a reason I like them. I feel like an advertisement, but I really love their company and their business. more
