The Customer Service Rep at this company is friendly. She went the extra mile to verify that My parts was ordered in a timely manner and the technican would be back out to service my microwave around my work schedule.The Technican was very professional, he explain the issue with my appliances, advised me that my parts will be ordered and to expect a call back from customer service to schedule an appoint once my parts are in. Customer service called me back in a few days and my microwave has been working great every since! I would highly recommend A-town for your appliance needs. more

A-Town Appliance sent Technician Aaron, whom arrived at my home within the schedule time frame to repair my dryer. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My dryer has been working extremely well ever since. I highly recommend A-town Appliance to assist with your appliance needs more

Great job..! On time and very polite. I was impressed with the additional info the technician told me. The technician even had the part I needed on his van. I have recommended A-town to 2 of my friends and they both were also pleased with the service!!!! more

A-Town Appliance came out to install a microwave for me, the tech was clean, courteous and informative. I had to get some work done in order for the installation to be completed, he explained in detail everything I needed to do before he came back out. I had the work done, called into the office and he came back out for me in 2 days. I would definitely recommend A-Town to my family and friends!! more

Do I even have to give them one star? Totally agree with all previous reviews. AHS sent them. Multiple delays, cancellations, & job was never completed. Was hung-up on by customer service & several calls unanswered. Worst customer service ever! Stay far, far, far away! more

American Home Shield place a repair order with A-Town Appliances, to service Whirlpool Counter Top Stove.The technician name Aaron arrived on June 3, 2011 fix/repair the stove, Aaron said he had to order the parts. We had set up appointments twice.No Show. They are very rude. Poor Customer service. Take it or leave attitude. Schedule morning appointments. A-Town technician does not show up or call. Claim that you cancelled the appointment. If for some reason AHS recommend this company for your service need decline immediately. This is June 28,2011, I am still waiting for a response. more

When my dishwasher stopped draining American Home Shield referred my to A-Town. The tech Aaron arrived on 3/18/11 and spent 15 minutes with the dishwasher declared it was a plumbing issue and left. The plumber spent 3 hours re-doing the plumbing despite telling me shortly after he arrived that the problem more than likely not plumbing. But he wanted to be thorough. So A-Town and Aaron were sent back to fix the dishwasher on 3/25/11. This was another 15 minute visit. Aaron then told me the dishwasher needed a new motherboard and he would order the part and reschedule when it arrived. As I write this it is 5/3/11, nearly six weeks from the date of the original visit and I have not heard from A-Town once since 3/25/11. I have called them, they did not answer the phone or return my calls. I have call American Home Shield many times regarding this horrible situation and each time they assured me that A-Town and had an order in for the product and they would contact me, which has yet to happen. In conclusion, this is an incompetent and even worse apathetic company. By no means should you allow these people near any of your appliances and should you be referred to them by your home warranty company refuse them and demand someone else. They are an absolute failure as a company and brands like American Home Shield should not associate with such failures. I would give zero stars if it were an option. more

I found out about A-Town Appliance from American Home Shield. My built-in microwave started making a loud humming noise which prompted my call to American Home Shield. My first appointment went well with A-Town to diagnosis my microwave issue as a need for a new mother board. My second appointment to install the new mother board was very difficult to schedule. When Aaron (my technician) finally did come out to install the new mother board a new issue was created. The new issue was that the vent fan flap would not stay open when in use. The vent fan flap now opens and closes during use which it never did before. Not to mention, the flap doesn’t close when the microwave is not in use. The flap now just stays open. After speaking with Aaron he let me know that the new issue has nothing to do with him because he didn’t create the mother board. I now have a new contractor to help with my new microwave issue created by A-Town which A-Town will not fix. A-Town is not the type of company that should be in business since they are unable to guarantee their work. more
