Excellent Service 7/8/2017

ARS / Rescue Rooter of Durham has taken care of my HVAC system for years. They do a great job and take the time to explain the repairs that are needed. Mike Anderson from ARS recently replaced my old thermostat that was no longer keeping accurate temperature. He recommended the Nest thermostat, and it has been fabulous! I have always been happy with the service from ARS and have recommended ARS to friends and neighbors. more

Scumbag crooks 6/22/2017

Don't have a clue. Didn't meet for secluded appointment got a call next day trying to send a tech a day late The tech did come out but I already had another company on the way. They reduced the service fee to ease the pain lol. He spent 20 mins most of which in his van then came in to tell me my 9 yr old unit is seriously broken and in need of repair and not worth in gave me over $2000 quote to repair and told it could be more as well. Also told me my friends in system is going to be ban and not redaly available told me I needed a new unit. Needless to say I declined the other company showed up and had me fixed and tuning in 30 minutes. The real problem I had ants in my compressor starter and wasn't getting power. Once tuning I was advised my ac wasn't low on freon it was overcharged and some had to be removed and very unlikely it had any leaks we have never had to put any freon in ! And furthermore my freon isn't ban it is the new kind. Glad I saved my self a lot of money more

Alfredo Olivio visit May 22, 2017 5/26/2017

I had an appointment between 8-10 am. Alfredo was there at 8:25am. Impressive. He had to repair my 6 yr old downstairs unit and he explained, in detail, what he was doing and how to prevent this from happening again. After that, he inspected my upstairs unit and discovered a problem there. He made a recommendation and sold me a UV light for my upstairs unit. If i have anymore repair work with ARS, I'm going to specifically request Alfredo. more

The great service started when the service technician, John, called to let me know he was on his way. After arriving, he explained what he would do in a very courteous and respectful manner. I would highly recommend John and I plan on requesting him for my next service call. Very professional! more
