He and his staff has taken such excellent care of the van they gave her and of her during the whole transition period from her having no wheels at all to having a new to her 99' Dodge Caravan. He has answered each question, been there she called and just helped her and her family to have a wonderful experience. more

The Folks here at Aamco really are fast,friendly experts. I took my car in on Friday during Christmas week and was out by Tuesday. dealership had me replace oxygen sensors and when that didn't work told me it was the catalytic converter when in fact it was a damaged hose. They also notice the engine mounts were in bad shape, now that they are replaced the car drives like new! more

I am the mother of a handicapped child, and it is very important to keep my car up and running. I need it to transport him everywhere, as he is wheelchair bound. My car was acting sluggish and a friend had suggested it maybe with the transmission. I took it to AAMCO to have it looked at. They checked out my car, found the problem, and quoted the price. With the holidays coming, it was going to be a struggle to afford the repair, but after speaking with my spouse, I agreed to it. The guys at AAMCO then found me another place that would do it at a cheaper price. I was floored and amazed that any company would go this far with customer service for me. My family and I will be very thankful this Thanksgiving and Christmas to the people at AAMCO. If you are looking for an HONEST repair place for your vehicle, these are truly the guys to go see. RESPONSE FROM AAMCO Transmissions & Auto Service: Kristi did not have a transmission problem but a problem with her exhaust system. While we can do exhaust repairs, we sent her to a friend of ours who specializes in exhausts and he was able to provide her a special deal to help her out! more

The was done quickly and so far everything works great. The estimate was accurate and everything was explained completely. Love that there was a 10 day follow-up check to make sure everything was good. Shannon Sr was great and really knows how to handle customers who may be in shock due to the cost of transmission repair. Also, the technician I dealt with for my 10 day follow-up was very helpful when I mentioned an electrical problem that had arisen subsequent to the repairs I had done. He gladly checked everything and informed me my battery was starting to fail. My only negative part of this experience was with Shannon Jr. Although professional and thorough he just needs better people skills. I'm paying $2000 for transmission work, be courteous to my wife when she calls to arrange payment, and don't say you are going to call back if you aren't. Overall the work was done right and I have a rebuilt transmission with a warranty and a 10 discount for futire care care. I'm happy I chose this shop. RESPONSE FROM AAMCO Transmissions & Auto Service: The issue with payment was the fact that we could not accept a credit card payment over the phone without an authorization form being faxed to us. Although many companies accept credit cards over the phone, it is not usually for the large dollar amount represented by a transmission rebuild. Our Merchant Servicer requires that we procure the signed form in cases of payment over the phone as protection against those who might fraudulently dispute the fact that the charge was authorized. We are sorry for the inconvenience and any misunderstanding and appreciate the fact that overall you seemed to be happy with our performance. more

AAMCO Transmissions & Auto Service of Jacksonville is awesome! They were able to squeeze me in at less than a moment's notice. They were jam-packed with cars and other people waiting to be serviced too! I was grateful they could see me. They were able to fix my hood, it was hanging on by a hinge and could have flown up while I was driving! I have six children and that was a very dangerous situation! I am very satisfied and happy with them, and I will definitely go back there again. They do a great job there! more

Had to have my transmission rebuilt and Aamco did an excellent job. Price always hurts but was lots cheaper than the dealer. Oh I forgot to mention I now have a lifetime warranty also - that is honored nation wide. That option is peace of mind in itself. Thanks Aamco more
