I was pleased with the service I received. I felt that they were straight forward and honest. They explained everything which my car needed and worked with me to determine which things were more critical to repair so that I could prioritize what I could afford and what could most likely wait another day. I recommended them to my daughter when she purchased a used van and they inspected it for her for free and found she had no need for any urgent repairs. more

Quality service, on time 2/24/2012

I've recently started taking my vehicles to this location. They are able to setup appointments quickly and complete the work per the agreed schedule. Their costs are inline with other auto shops in the area. So far I haven't had any problems with the work they have done. more

great personal service 2/20/2012

Shannon, owner, helped me out of a bind. I had taken my wives vehicle to a local tire kingdom shop and after two attempts they could not repair the transmission much less correctly diagnose it properly. I was scheduled to fly out of town in two days and would not return for two weeks which would have left my wife without transportation. Shannon took my vehicle, and even though his shop was extremely busy, repaired the tranny by the next day. I am now a loyal customer and plan to have maintenance work done there as well. I was also very impressed with the cleanlyness of the lobby and restrooms. They made this a very pleasant experience, which I rarely encounter in todays service business. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone I know. more

Diagnosed problem quickly and handled professionallly 2/15/2012

I expected a total rebuild of a transmission according to another shop. AAMCO found a vacuum seal problem, it was quickly repaired for a fraction of the cost I was initially expecting, so I have to say it was an unexpected and nice suprise. more

work perfomed on a 2006 Chrysler 300C 2/8/2012

Had front struts,rear shocks, and spark plugs replaced on 06 Chrysler 300c. The work done beat 4 other estimates by more than $300.00. Everythinbg was done on time and my wife and I are very pleased with the job Shannon and his men performed on the car. Would recommend AAmco to anybody whom needs car work done. We will be back. came in thinking i needed a new transmission left with tuneup and alot of saved money 2/7/2012

I went in to the shop because the transmission light on and it seemed to be slipping. It was on a fri and I had to be in sarrasota fl on mon 300to mi away. I was fully prepared to pay thousands of dollars for a new trans. and had no time to shop around. When I explained my situation to Shane jr he had his head crew shuffle their jobs to work me in. That service alone would have kept me coming back but they went further than my wildest dreams rather than tear out the transmission and put in a new one as I had requested they ran a diagnostic test that revealed a cracked distributor and a burnt plug wire. The resulting miss was causing the slip and had caused the transmission light to come on. You here so often about auto shops being rip offs and doing work that didn't need to be done. They could have done this to me but Shane and his Crew were honest and caring and I find that refreshing in this day and age. I no longer have to search for an auto repair shop their integrity has made me theirs for life. more

We had a problem with the car and we took it up to AAMCO. It was a problem with the steering, and they told us what was wrong with it, and they were right. We took it back and they fixed it, and they were very nice and courteous. more

Great experience, finished on time 1/9/2012

Other than costing more than I wanted I have no complaints with the repairs or service. Shannon Sr. explained everything at each step of the process. When I noticed a small puddle under the engine after picking up the vehicle he had me bring it in and had it on a lift in no time. I'll go back if I need transmission and probably will use them for other repairs as well. more

AAMCO Transmissions & Auto Service is a good place to go. They were professional. I had some minor work done and it was expensive, but I am content with the service. He has called several times to follow up and make sure I am happy with the work they performed. RESPONSE FROM AAMCO Transmissions & Auto Service: Ron thought our labor rate of $85.00 per hour was high. Labor rates include salaries to our employees as well as other costs of doing business like Taxes, Insurance, Rent, Electric bills, Uniforms, Licenses and Permits and much more! We feel our labor rate is more than fair compared to the labor rates a dealerships which run anywhere from $125.00 to $160.00 per hour. more
