Best

Although intially a little frustrated when AAA couldn't find my paperwork for installing my water heater in 2007, which had a 6-year warranty, things finally did get settled with ...

Worst

I have used this company several times. Once I was trying to find a leak. The person that came out did some tests which I thought were rather expensive for what he did. He said it...

Ron rocks!!! He was prompt, courteous, knowledgable, and efficient. All of the options for drain cleaning) were explained to us and there was no pressure to select one over another. Ron answered our questions before we selected a service and then he was thorough in explaining what we had been charged for. We thought the service provided was reasonably priced and would use AAA again. more

This company is, beyond a doubt, the biggest rip off going. They charge a service fee before you get an estimate, and you should expect that estimate to be at least 5x what you would pay a reputable company. Also, it seems every single positive review (on sites that don't screen reviews) is fake. Check them out on BBB and you get a better idea of how they conduct themselves. more

The office was organized and called as they said they would, the technician Ron G was polite, professional and efficient. We needed drain and sewer service. Ron informed us of other procedures and products we might benefit from. He was courteous when we declined which is not true of some other plumbing services we were offered a senior discount anyway. \r We would use them again and feel comfortable reccommending them to our friends and neighbors. more

AAA has to be the most expensive company in Denver,I must have had a brain fart and allowed them to install a kitchen faucet for $585 and a bathroom faucet for $350 and a water pressure regulator $700. Please please do not use this company, they will rake you over the coals,I can't believe I was stupid enough to let them do the work. I found out later that Home Depot will install a faucet for $119. This company needs to go out of business. I gave them an extra $1000 for nothing. more

The technician AAA sent to my home to fix a burst pipe was friendly and knowledgable, but the prices he quoted to me we're unbelievably high. Unfortunately, by that time he had already cut into the sheetrock ($172) and let the pipe drain for about 45 mins ($345), so including the trip fee of ($49), I was out $567 before the repair even started. They quoted another $1038 for the repair, so I declined, called a plumber in my area who came an hour later and did the repair (using soldered pieces instead of the cheaper shark bite solution AAA was going to use). He charged me $95. I'll not call AAA again. more

WAY overpriced! I did not have issues with the service performed but now feel like I was ""upsold"" and I suffered from massive sticker shock when they charged me $977 to replace a recirc pump on our boiler system and that included $173 charge to have an electrician show up for 15 minutes to turn off the breaker. This was to deal with a leak. They also recommended additional work and quoted me over $700 for that task. I passed on that additional work and called another reputable plumber / hydronics company and they did that work for $230. This was a savings of about $500 dollars. This second company also told me they would have fixed the leak and replaced the pump for $620 versus the $977 I paid AAA. \r \r IN SUMMARY, if I had called the other reputable service company with which I had dealt before, I would have spent only $850 total versus the $1677 total that AAA would have charged had they done both tasks. You got it: THAT's ABOUT TWICE THE COST BY USING AAA.\r \r YOU BETTER GET OTHER QUOTES PRIOR TO PAYING THIS OUTFIT!\r \r by the way, when I called the company to speak with owner and protest, they never gave me the courtesy of a call back..... more

Chris P. came to fix my leaking kitchen sink. I was very pleased with his service and professionalism.Keep up the good work! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/15/2012

Only ask for Chris P to be your plumber!! He is the best at AAA Service. Not only was he prompt, fixed my leaking kitchen sink, but educated me on proper care of my sink, pipes, and garbage disposal. Chris P is professional and his customer service is the best. Also, Nate who makes your appointment is very kind and understanding on the phone when dealing with upset frantic customers calling in for help. Together, Nate and Chris P made my experience perfect, resolved my issue fast, and this satisfied-customer will use them again and again!!!! I highly recommend AAA Service for plumbing issues!!! more

By the the time I got AAA's $1,900 estimate for a water heater, my local plumber had done the job for $900. Terrible service, business. more

Although an hour and fifteen minutes late, Joe D. was apologetic, professional and knowledgable about HVAC. AAA did not charge an emergency charge to come out to fix my A/C during 100 degree heat, they only charge by the jobs completed. Joe discussed the issues, wrote out costs for each, explained which items needed to be completed and which items would help system efficiency. Joe answered all on my questions, showed me areas of concern and recommended preventative care options since he recognized we may have an electrical concern aside from the HVAC he had come to fix. All recommendations and preventative recommendations are welcomed because the cost to repair and replace a furnace or A/C unit is astounding. AAA also honored their online coupon promo with an additional discount for their preventative maintenance program. Overall I am satisfied and will recommend AAA to others. more

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. They called me the day before and said they had to reschedule because they were too busy. I said no I made this appointment 2 weeks ago. I will not resechdule or use your company ever again!!!!!! They said they couldn't do anything about it. I call BS on this, they CAN do something about it but refused. more

Although intially a little frustrated when AAA couldn't find my paperwork for installing my water heater in 2007, which had a 6-year warranty, things finally did get settled with them when I spoke with the General Manager. I was very pleased with the outcome. As far as the technician who installed the new water heater (Roberto), he could not have been more professional and polite. more

They charge a ton and expect to charge 6/9/2012

They charge a ton and expect to charge more to come out and fix the problem they didn't fix the first time they were called out to fix it. I told AAA my swamp cooler would stop blowing air, especially on hot days - the technician responded with 'That's weird'. I should have sent him away at that remark and called someone who had an idea of what might cause the problem and how to fix it, rather than 'that's weird'. $500 later, my unit was serviced and had a new water line run to it... but now on a hot day when I need it to work, I sit here in a hot house wishing I would have called someone who knows how to service/fix swamp coolers rather than an overall service company. Sadly, after what this company charged me for their initial visit, I may be stuck in a hot house for a long time to come. more

I had my sewer line from house to 5/31/2012

I had my sewer line from house to street cleaned out as a preventive measure to prevent backups from roots. The tech (Zack DeMare) was friendly and efficient. The whole job took about 20 minutes. When I paid the bill he told me I was entitled to a senior discount which was welcomed information! I will call again next year to perform this annual maintenance. Very good experience with this company. more

Thanks AAA! You've given me a great 4/19/2012

Thanks AAA! You've given me a great idea for a new business. First, I'll set up a website offering my services and not mention to anyone stupid enough to contact me that I'm charging $50 just to show up. Once I get to the appointment I will quote the most ridiculous price I can think of for whatever simple job they need done-- (Oh, you need some screws tightened on your water heater? That will cost $50,000.) The customer will of course try to throw me out of their home, but before they do, I'll tell them that they owe me $50 just for the privilege of having me show up. If I can do this 10-20 times a day I can make a good buck and not actually have to do any work. Just incase word of my scam gets out, I'll write a million fake reviews about how great I am and bury all the negative reviews from actual customers. Thanks again AAA, I can't wait to adopt your practices and start stealing from people. more

Called them to come quote to run a new 3/16/2012

Called them to come quote to run a new gas line. They never told us about the $50 service charge. And when the guy came to the door he did not tell us either. At the end of the bid he asked for the money, I flipped and called the office and they said they would have the supervisor call me the next day. Nope no call. Called back and talked to someone and sent me to his voicemail and left him a message. Still 2 weeks later no call back. I am very disappointed in this company. The fist time I had them come out they sent the""wrong"" guy to do the job just an fyi as well. more

Called at 6am to schedule someone to 2/19/2012

Called at 6am to schedule someone to come out between 8 and 10am. AAA called at 7:45 to notify me that no one would be able to come out for the ENTIRE day. Unbelieveable. Steer clear of this business and their shady scheduling. more
