This place is the best! I called and spoke with Ameir. He connected me to Joseph and I explained to him what I had currently and he not only picked the right machine out for me, He was fair and very professional in choosing a comparable and installing a great used washing machine for a very fair price. I didn't have time or the expertise to search for a new washing machine,but with another number one ACE of an employee, OSAMA, good guy, installed the machine for me. I am very greatful. Wow!!!! what took 25min would have took me all day.!! 5/12/2011

I call A-1 to repair my Frigidaire stack. Washer/Dryer Miguel A-1 service tech told me that the motor needed to be replaces and it would work like new. It took this guy 25 min. to do this job I would of bin there all day. I'm very happy I can washer and dry now very cool A-1 and thanks Miguel if I need a repair I know to call A-1...... more

I call for my refrigerator to be repair. A-1 service sent Miguel he repair my refrigerator at a low price and fast I hate that my refrigerator was not working but the experience was not that bad. O! The tech was to be here at 4-6pm he was here at 2 wow!!.Thanks A-1...... more

I call to repair my kenmore washer. A-1 Service sent service tech Miguel he told me that the timer & transmission had to be replaced. I'm happy to say that the work was done that same day. Take time to reed the reviews you know ask for Miguel my experience with him was great. more

I call A-1 Service for my Dryer it was not working properly. A-1 sent service tech Miguel he explained that the coils were no good that why it would take so long to dry. Miguel explained that it would take the coils to be replaced so it would work like new. Miguel was on time and very knowledgeable I'm very happy with the service thank A-1... more

On top of their work 2/8/2011

A few years ago Amir installed a wall-heater in my guest house. I had a problem with it recently and he and a colleague came out very quickly and fixed it for a very reasonable service call. Amir and his team are positive, enthusiastic, and enjoy their work. It shows and I can strongly recommend them. more

On time, knowledgeable, treated with respect, reasonable prices! 2/4/2011

Miguel showed up right on time and was ready to work (even though he was not feeling well). He treated me with respect and answered all my questions. He even stayed late (on his wife's birthday) to make sure the washing machine went through all the cycles and did not break again. I highly recommend this company. more

Tech was great, office staff was frustrating. 1/28/2011

Ronie the service tech was professional, knowledgeable and was happy to answer my questions about the repair. Ronie gets 5 stars. He called me back right away with an estimate. The office staff was so frustrating, promising a call back and never calling. They get 2 stars. I had to follow up with them 4 times until Velma took controll found the part and scheduled Ronie. I will give them another chance. I like to support small businesses. more

Quick, clean, efficient install. 11/18/2010

A-1 Service Appliances was recommended to me through my home owners association for replacing my heating and air conditioning system in the house. They were running a special for us, because we are a large multi-house association, and I took advantage of that. After I got a quote, I had to wait awhile to contract them until the refinancing on my house went through. When I was ready, they came out and quickly and cleanly installed the new system. It works fine, and everything was done as originally advertised and expected. I had no problem with the operation. They were efficient, clean, and completed the job. They also cleaned up after they were done. I got the impression that they were anxious to keep me satisfied and happy. I appreciated that, and they did a good job doing so. more

We have used A1 many times over the years we have lived in Mar Vista and they have never let us down, fixing washing machines, dryers and dishwashers with the same efficiency and promptness. more

Fast, Professional service 11/17/2010

Called on Thursday, Had someone out the next day to look at my fridge. My part was ordered and installed the following day. $85 for parts, $100 labor. I thought the labor was a little expensive, but at least its done and I have an old fridge. I'm sure my parts are hard to come by. more

A-1 Service Appliances does pretty much everything I need including heating, air conditioning, and the refrigerator. They take care of everything in terms of repairing problems, giving estimates, and looking at issues. Their work is excellent. If something is not working they will come back and look at it again without extra charge. If they don't have the part they need they will go grab it and come back to fix it in the same day. They do the best they can to give same day service. If it is not an emergency they can get you in as soon as possible, and if it is an emergency, Amir and his crew will try to do same day service. A-1 will also work within my work schedule, so that they can come first thing in the morning or in the evening as late as 5. They can also come out on a weekend. I am glad I can call them for the majority of my appliances, and I am confident that they give me a good estimate. more

THEY HAVE A GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE 10/28/2010

My washer machine wasn't work and I called them, they came to my house and they repaired my machine and they accept credit cards. Also customer service has spanish speaking operators. Now my washer works good!!! more

Don't call these guys. They came out twice to fix our refrigerator and didn't do it right either time. Sparks flew out of the back because they installed a relay that does not work for this brand. The manufacturer sent a different company out and they said the part A-1 used was illegal and they should have replaced the motor and the relay. Just replacing the relay with a bigger one could have blown our compressor. more
