A Wig Galleria

The ladies at Wig Galleria have been nothing but kind and helpful. I visited several other wig shops first, one I was told my head was too big and they couldn't fit me, two others limited try-ons to 3 wigs. I am 70+ years old with Alopecia, and was getting frantic about it until I finally discovered the Wig Galleria. They spent as much time as I needed trying on many different colors and styles before I chose one that was in stock, and ordered another one in a different color. Since then I have been back several times and have purchased another 5 or 6 wigs. I have also taken several friends in who have all been happy with the service, and all have purchased wigs. They are always ready to special order anything in a different size or color, and often will trim and refine the style on the spot. more

I've been a Wig Galleria customer for 8 or 9 years. From the moment I met the staff, I've had a love affair with the store. I work at Walmart, & ALWAYS am asked about my hair. I was in my mid 60's when I met Sharon & had lost my self esteem. She has restored my faith in myself, & I believe I've bought over 60 of her wigs. I just started chemo and unfortunately no wig shops near where I live so off to SACRAMENTO I go. The first shop I went to in Roseville only took you if you made an appointment and I didn't have one so they didn't want anything to do with me but being in there didn't look like they had very many wigs to show me anyway. So now I'm off to citrus heights to the next shop. WOW, now this was a wig shop- hundreds of wigs in stock for me to try in lots of different styles and colors. I was in wig heaven. I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. I found several different styles that I loved and the ladies there were just a delight and so helpful. There were a couple of other ladies in there on chemo also so we all got to talk and share stories about treatment. I PICKED TWO WIGS, Sharon sized , cut and thinned them right on the spot and I left with them and didn't have to come back for a second fitting. They made this experience so pleasant and easy. My first visit in I bought 3 wigs and have returned several time for a little trim on my bangs and to buy more wigs. I am up to 9 now and will probably need just a couple more to get me through this. So Monday I headed out to the store. I was promptly greeted when I entered the store and when I explained I was coming from Reno the young lady remembered she had spoke to me on the phone and thanked me for coming to the store. So to wrap up this story I left with 3 wigs all very different in color and style and will most definitely recommend this store to everyone it is worth the drive and the ladies who work in there stay on their toes making sure no stone is left unturned when a women wants a wigs. Thank you Sharon at wig galleria. You are the kindest and most generous person . I took my 24 year old daughter there to buy her a wig because she is undergoing chemotherapy and loosing her hair. Think of how devastating at such a young age. She found just the perfect wig there after looking at many other wig shops,which seemed to cater to older clientele,. We walked into the shop and was pleasantly surprised to see so many to pick from lots of long hair and more current styles. So we ordered her style and when she came in to pick it up, Sharon had two of them there for her. She gave her the second wig and said it is hard to get along with one wig when you have to where them all the time. We could not afford to buy her two--- So thank you again Sharon, for you kindness.I would suggest no one go anywhere else than Wig Galleria for there wigs especially if you want a lot of cool new styles to choose from. more

Okay, I just have Alopecia, not cancer and just want to look attractive...are you with me?\r I am 56 and have money, but, Sharon clearly didn't care if I was Queen Elizabeth herself. Girls, I kissed her backside for well over 40 minutes and she treated and eyed me in a suspicious and hostile manner the entire time I was there. (8/29/12) Came over 70 miles from Oroville to shop, something I can easily do online. She was waiting on a chemo patient and bitching aloud the entire time so loud, that even I blushed!\r The woman is a moron! She bad-mouthed the customer about wasting her time and her money.(All she did was try to exchange two wigs that clearly were not what she had expected.)\r Needing to try some lighter shades of red, due to my age, I was going to order a mid-length Bob, (planned to spend about $400.00) but Sharon actually came over to me once the chemo patient and her husband had left, then began verbally abusing ME. \r Making a very long story short; she insulted me and degrade more

WOW!! This is so far from the truth as to what had happened. I was the sales person who sold this wig to her and from the moment she came into our store on 8/31 she was greeted and helped to find what she was looking for. She came in looking for long human hair but it was explained to her that our shop is all synthetic and we could order human hair but only had some samples to show her. At this time I showed her the new heat friendly synthetic that has a beautiful hand tied top and lace front making it the most natural look available in synthetic hair. She tried it on and loved it and it was also more in her price range not as expensive as the $2000 human hair wigs. We decided on a color together and it was ordered. She picked it up on Tuesday 9/6 and loved it when I put it on her. She was given all the care instructions and also the hang tag that was also very specific to say it was a synthetic wig. She did explain how she loved the long hair and with no bang and if she needed any trimming done she would come back. Then on Saturday 9/10 she returned causing a very loud scene in the store stating she was lied to and the wig she got was synthetic. We already knew that and offered to speak to the owners and find out how they would like to handle this situation to the NO refund/return policy that is governed by the health department for the public's protection. Another employee did go ahead with the refund to try and calm the situation down at this time we were only hoping for the police to show up due to she was screaming out of control and threatening us. Not sure if the police were really on the phone with her but at NO time there was ever any threats made to her she was asked several times to leave the store as well as even after her refund was given she refused to leave making even other customers uncomfortable and fearful. We have never made the claim we order human hair from Europe no did we sell her a wig with any other intention except to sell her a synthetic wig she could afford and still met what she was looking for. On a side note the wig was in a bag and after she left the wig was taken out of the bag and she had it cut it up to be completely different than the intended style to include short bangs even after she stated from the beginning she didn't want bangs. This is just to let shoppers know this was a very irrational customer and we have never misrepresented our product. We are a store with hundreds of wigs being synthetic and we are very happy to help with all your needs. By the way the truth should always be told especially when there are witnesses to antics of individuals. more

What nice ladies and a wonderful selection at this store. Spent all day Saturday shopping for a wig at other wig stores trying to figure out what wig I would even consider settling for. Walked into wig galleria today and spent over 2 hrs trying on so many lovely styles finally had to choose between 4 that I absolutely loved and decided on 1 for now but will be back for the others. The ladies were so patient and helpful. They suggested styles to me I never thought I would pick for myself and they were all perfect. Thanks again for being so kind and patient and with your help I know I will be fine when all my hair falls out due to cancer. Oh and PS the choices in had scarfs and hats was fantastic and so many cute styles to choose from. I will return. more

I was told that all there hair was European. After ordering the one i liked, i finally got it only to find out that it was synthetic hair. I went back to the store to ask them why they lied and they denied everything. As i was trying to get there information, one of the employees flipped out, grabbed my bag and keys and threw it out side. She would not stop yelling at me, so i called the cops because i was feeling endangered by her yelling in my face with a pen in her hand. As soon as i started talking to the dispatcher they decided to give my money back. I am still shocked at everything that happened and i just want people to know that the hair is not real but in fact synthetic. BE AWARE more

For example I was in the shop last week and there was several people trying on wigs but one couple stuck out and she had been recieving treatments and her hair had already fallen out well to make a long story short this lady was able to be shown wigs just by looking at her driver license picture. She had found the perfect wig color and style. She was so thankful and mentioned she went to another wig store and was absoulty disapointed in the selection. I love going in this shop for my wig servicing and also when I am ready for a new wig the owner Sharon knows just what I want and always has them ready to go for me. If you want a fun enviroment with understanding and compassion this is the place to go. more

I was diagnosed with cancer just 2 weeks ago and due to it being aggressive I had to move fast. I went on line to find a wig store close to my home and found Wig Galleria I was a little scared due to some of the reviews I read but after taking a chance and going into the store I am horrified by what I have read. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The store was very busy with in a minute or two I was approached and my needs were discussed. I was given a chance to look around and pick out several styles I like to try on. As the ladies were helping others they were also very attentive to me always making sure my questions were answered. I had narrowed it down to 4 styles I liked and wanted to think about it and also look at some others stores. I went to another wig store that was also close to my house and their selection was not as large as well as I didn't feel as comfortable. I am going to beat this cancer not die I don't need to be treated as if I need a wig to be buried in. The st more
